Testing Around 11th July

@fashu gosh that's tough! Defo be worth saying to her how you feel and see if she can at least empathise and then think twice before sending pics and updates!

@notyetamumbuttrying yes she knows.....my mum told my family at a family party that I was going into hospital the next day. At the same party she announced she was pregnant. Then the next morning put a pic of her bump and the day after I got home from hospital a pic of her scan and report on WhatsApp.
She said the reason she waited 12 weeks to tell everyone was in case something happened to the baby.......I don't think she means anything in a nasty way but shes just so excited about her pregnancy that shes forgotten I have lost mine.

Oh god @fashu! Does she know about your miscarriage? If so, she sounds majorly insensitive! You'll have to have a word with her if she carries on cos that's not nice at all!

I'm going to try and make a 'virtual GP appointment' tomorrow.....I'm on CD 47 now. Last month was a 49 day cycle. My cycles are usually regular if I'm ttc. It's really strange but if I'm not ttc my cycles can go up to 70day cycles! Usually after 1 month ttc I'm back to my 32 day cycle So I'm on cycle 5 of ttc now and it still hasn't regulated. I'm really worried something is wrong after my miscarriage. I wouldn't be worried but I've been spotting now in the mornings for 6 days and my usual AF is 5 days no matter what my cycle is.
Next weekend will be tough for me, my cousin is having a baby shower, we had a due date a week apart.....I'm trying to get out of it but not really working so far :') I wouldn't mind but she isnt the most sensitive woman. Last week she came to my house and got her belly out 100 times to rub it. On the day I was admitted to hospital she was sending pics of her bump and scans. I'm happy for her and really excited to have a new baby in the family but it's still hard especially when I spend every waking moment wishing for my BFP!

I'm currently sitting waiting for my FRER from Amazon, hubby doesn't know i've ordered so sent him upstairs! hoping he doesn't come down!
I took a test when AF was due but nothing. 3 days ago I had the lightest bleed of my life so wondering if it was IB? clutching at straws but will let you know!

That's a tough milestone to have got to, I'm really sorry to hear that 😔 the positive is that at least now they will start to examine why that might be and you can at least feel like everything that can be done, is being done. Wishing you the very best of luck with it xxxxx

Wow you have some restraint @eastcoastgirl !! I'm sure he'll love the surprise, sounds like you've put a lot of effort and thought into it. Let us know how it goes.
I'm ok thanks, cycle 12 now so have started investigations. Got bloods booked in and hubs has a pot ready for a SA.

@Juno it's because I really want him to be as surprised and excited as I am, but he doesn't do excitement, so I'm trying really hard to make him 😂 beginning to think it would have been easier to chuck the stick at him though!

Don't give up yet. I was convinced I wasn't when I took my test on thursday, couldn't believe it when it said pregnant. Still cant!

@eastcoastgirl hahaha that's brilliant! I admire the fact that you haven't caved in and just chucked the wee stick at him lol! Do let us know when you've done it and how it went down!

I'm 9 DPO now, planning on testing on Thurs as I'm going away for the long weekend and will be drinking. Assuming it's the same old BFN though

@notyetamumbuttrying thank you!! How are you getting on? I've got lost with where everyone is up to since our cycles all slipped out of sync.

I still haven't 😳 I took the test on thursday and haven't found the right time! Want it to be something special and since he is so blasé about everything its ended up a whole big thing. We'd decided we'd go for a picnic tomorrow and I have had some cupcakes made with baby decorations on (had to sneak them into the house) including one that says 'you're going to be a daddy' that I want to bring out as 'desert' as a surprise, except now the weather forecast is rubbish so we've postponed until Saturday now! I'll be 4+6 by then lol! So buns are now in the freezer so they don't go stale before then.

I'm desperate for him to know. My mum text me last night too, telling me she had heard my ex best friend from primary school is now pregnant with her 2nd and thought it was best I heard it from her but don't worry live you'll be next....I SO wanted to tell her!!!

Sorry for the late congrats @eastcoastgirl! How did you tell your partner in the end?

Thank you both! No, haven't told him yet. I'm not sure how to tell him to make it special - had it been last month I was going to get him a Father's Day card and a paid of tiny baby booties. I'm just heading out now, I think I'm going to get a few nice baby grows and gift box them. Any other creative ideas for telling? I'm open to suggestions!

@eastcoastgirl aah that's so exciting! and you haven't told DP yet?! Are you planning on just telling him or do you have anything more planned? I'm impressed you held off testing until 13DPO btw!

Thank you Juno! I can't believe it, it still hasn't sunk in! I tested this morning thinking 'well I know it's going to be another negative but I'll do it anyway then at least I know'.

I think I ovulated on 17th july, CD12, making me 13DPO today. I'm cycle 3 or 4, depending whether I count the first cycle or not...I had a copper coil removed on new years eve, so january cycle 1 but hadn't had a withdrawal bleed. Not supposed to matter with coil but it was a long cycle, 33 days when I'm normally 26/27 so I'm not sure if it was a normal one. Then we had a break feb/march/april because I didn't want a winter baby and also was starting a new job! Started TTC again may/june/july. I know it's not really been that long in the grand scheme but I was beginning to think it would never happen!

Can't wait to tell DP, I want to shout it from the rooftops!

Don't know if I dare believe it, but I got my BFP this morning! My hands are shaking as I type and my heart is racing! My messages won't load when I try and attach a picture though!

@Juno231 I have short cycles so that explains my out of sync ness. I'm every 24 days with ov on cd10 so I fall out of sync very quickly with others! I often get two periods a month, it's a killer but more chances to conceive I guess!

@fashu wow you lucky biche! Our buyers pulled out a month ago and we haven't had a single viewing since so I think the sellers for our house will pull out within the next few days as well!

Best of luck to you and @notyetamumbuttrying . I'm currently on CD15 waiting to ovulate so I'm not sure how we got so massively out of kilter considering we were all in sync for the June cycle??
