@candycrush2298 haha!! How you feeling this evening? I don't feel anything at all. Odd.

candycrush2298 · 19/06/2020 19:42

@Kaybobx wanted to tell you my cheap tests came from Amazon and I got a negative with it so I think if I cant even get a false positive its definitely 100% a negative 😂

@Elakiya being a healthy weight is always beneficial, I am 8kgs from a healthy BMI and I am healthily losing it while trying to conceive and I have heard a great if not better alternative to pregnacare is proceive as it has more vitamins in but its a lot more expensive so not sure if that would be an option for you

@candycrush2298 @kaybobx

I’ll stay here too! Thanks for the comments about preseed. I’m going to leave it for this month and if unsuccessful again in July then I’ll get it.

I’m really struggling with taking pregnacare, I think it’s the size of the tablet. It makes me feel sick. Is there anything else you guys would recommend.

I think I really want to get pregnant but part of me feels like because I still have another 9-10kg to lose I am not providing my baby with the best environment so I am really scared as well ☹️

candycrush2298 · 19/06/2020 17:38

@snapple21 that's great on the new thread we can talk about our updates on the CB monitor and whats been happening and then symptom spot for 2 weeks it sounds like a party hahha. We can chat in here for a few days and then once we have established who all has started AF I will create a new thread and tag you all xx

@Kaybobx yeah our bodies are strange and it will be really nice to find confirmation. I am going to get some preseed, keep taking the pregnacare both me and hubby and use the actual fertility monitor. I wish i could track BBT hahah but I am a lost cause lol.

Kaybobx · 19/06/2020 17:30

@candycrush2298 thank you. Dont stress, you may not have anything wrong. Our bodies are just mental and so unpredictable. If anything its nice to just get a peace of mind everything is ok. Im sure you'll be fine.

@snapple21 yup will wait here too until the new thread is up too. I'd defo recommend the CB though, luckily i have some left from this month as i got my peak after 2 days. Saves me 20 odd quid.

snapple21 · 19/06/2020 17:21

I'm happy for a new thread when you're ready guys. I'll wait here till then. I've bid on a cb monitor and I'm gonna buy a femometer

candycrush2298 · 19/06/2020 17:03

@Kaybobx rooting for you to get a call from your doc soon regarding your results. Thank you so much for the advice I honestly appreciate it and I really will. I am going to send them an email so that when they open they can get back to me about an appointment. I think something has definitely changed and since its not pregnancy there has to be something else going on there to have made my cycle change and my symptoms to be so different i have never gotten period cramping 11 days before Im due to start. Its not usual so something is up.

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 19/06/2020 16:40

@candycrush2298 I'm usually bang on a 27 day, last month i was 3 days late for the first time ever! Now I'm thinking has my cycle changed to 30 days. Am i actually due tomorrow? Ugh!
I still have backache too but nothing else. So odd. Im usually cramping and crying by now.

Definitely go and get a scan. I went to my GP last year and they wouldn't do anything as i was healthy and bloods were fine. Had i not paid for one of these scans i wouldnt of known about the polyps! I've now had to send the report to my GP to follow up. Still waiting to hear back, probably be forever with COVID going on.

candycrush2298 · 19/06/2020 16:10

@Kaybobx I think mine is going to be late too. Longest cycle I have had is 27 days so chances are its going to make me wait until Monday to start just to annoy me. I have no pms usually my AF cramps would be so bad by now hurting so bad and I just dont. My back ache is still there and still have light pains in my left side. So annoying. I'm also not even moody or irritable its just so bizarre. Maybe I should add preseed to the basket as well just for some added luck. I think because my symptoms have been so different last month and this month for pms that I might have endometriosis it runs in the family (or cysts, fibroids, polyps or whatevrer could be growing down there that shouldn't) so when the private clinic opens up near me (found one that looks really good 30minutes from me) I'm going to do the ovulation tests and see whats happening. Definitely think something is up particularly the left ovary since thats where the pain and backache is situated.

Kaybobx · 19/06/2020 15:32

I think my AF is going to be late just to p me off. I literally don't feel like i do the day before she comes! My CP has gone high again 🙈 just hurry up and get out of the way woman!

I used preseed the last 2 cycles, not because i didn't have CM just as i heard it helps. It smells awful but heard its quite effective (well not with me haha).

Defo up for the tww wait with you all again Smile

candycrush2298 · 19/06/2020 12:13

@Elakiya yeah I have heard the doctors are exactly the same. I use ebay strips but from next month I will be using the CB ones that are compatible with the fertility monitor. I have tried tracking BBT but I never remember to take it as soon as my alarm goes off so I'm already up for like 5 min before tracking so I am useless at it. I havent used preseed but if you not getting enough CM I would definitely suggest using it as it mimics CM without harming any of the sperm.

Elakiya · 19/06/2020 12:04

@candycrush2298 The NHS can be very frustrating to deal with especially with fertility treatment when you want everything to just happen quicker. The doctors are exactly the same so your not missing out on quality (ignoring the prick I saw). Try and make sure you’re doing everything that you can control correctly, so try to eat healthier, exercise regularly, take prenatal vitamins, track ovulation etc.

what are you using to test ovulation? I am using the easy at home strips.

I’ve also bought the Femometer to check my BBT. Will start charting tomorrow.

AF has officially arrived by the way. Amount of blood keeps increasing so I think we’re there now.

Have any of you used preseed? I never get any CM so am wondering whether to use that.

candycrush2298 · 19/06/2020 11:32

@snapple21 grrrr that sucks sorry.

@Elakiya wow sorry to hear you're out, that's great on your weightloss by the way well done!! I really think I need more data for the NHS and youre really lucky your employers offer private thats absolutely great.

@Kaybobx I woke up thinking I have my periods as it was so wet down there and it was just loads of CM tested and its negative I am giving this month up as a complete negative. At least it was only about £10 wasted on tests lol!! Going on ebay to buy a fertility monitor will try again next month.

Will give it a few days as some people are waiting until AF arrives before testing but I guess we can make a new thread and endure the tww next month together?

Kaybobx · 19/06/2020 08:21

@snapple21 @candycrush2298 I'm out, tested this morning and its negative. AF due tomorrow so would of shown at least a faint line. CP lower down and super hard.
Come on @candycrush2298 we're relying on you now Smile

Elakiya · 19/06/2020 07:05

@LAG1986 how do you delete posts urghhh. That was meant to say varies throughout the day not “varies everyday”

Elakiya · 19/06/2020 07:03

@LAG1986 I’m the same. I go and check but I find it varies everyday?

Elakiya · 19/06/2020 06:58

@candycrush2298 awww I am sorry to hear that.

I’ve been using professional exams as a distraction from fertility issues. But my husband forced me to see my GP 2 years ago. I finally went and unsurprisingly got diagnosed with PCOS (I’ve known since I was 11). However in the scan they also picked up a potential septate uterus but couldn’t confirm as my uterus is retroverted. They then did a 3D scan and found that I didn’t have a septate uterus ( thank goodness for that). The thing I found frustrating about the nhs is they sent me for bloods and would go we’ll see you in 6 months! I wasted a year faffing around with the nhs. I’d also gained quite a bit of weight due to exams 😳 and the consultant at the nhs I had to see was horrible about it. He was really condescending. In the end I went privately (work pay for health insurance). My consultant is lovely. He gave me metformin and told me to eat healthy and to try to lose 10kg. I’ve lost 14kg so far and found my cycles were going down massively just before lockdown hit they’d gone down to 28-30 days. Lock down hits and healthy eating goes out the window - my cycles are now at 35/36 days 😒. I am trying to just be positive and have gotten back on track with healthy eating and exercise. This is the first month I used OPKs... I never have ECWM so thought I wasn’t ovulating but then the OPK was positive on day 21. I’m mainly doing the OPK’s to show my consultant in August/September when I go to see him. I am aiming to lose another 8 kg before I see him. I’m also going to start doing the BBT thing so that I can show him that too.

Gosh that’s such a long story. Anyway my advice to you is you need to be very organised with the nhs, take your OPK’s with you, take your bbt charts with you, make sure you track your cycle lengths so you can show them too. Just collect as much information as you can.

Good luck! Throwing baby dust your way.

I’m out for this month. I am spotting more. I always spot before my period. Oh well better luck next time. I ovulated this month so I am happy about that 😄

snapple21 · 19/06/2020 06:55

My period is here. Good luck everyone else! I'll hang around for a bit and see how you get on @Kaybobx @candycrush2298 !

candycrush2298 · 19/06/2020 00:26

@LAG1986 if you feel your cervix every single day at the same time you will feel a difference when you just finish your periods to when you ovulate. After your AF it should be firm when you feel it then you will know what firm is for you. And then when you ovulate you will find it a bit hard to reach as it will be high then you will know how high is high for you and when you feel it it will feel something like your vaginal walls soft and blending or like your lips.

@sb12985 if you don't get symptoms usually then that is hopefully a good sign. Almost to saturday we nearly there if both you and Lag usually have the same cycle length every month then by Saturday you should be able to test. Baby dust to us all xx

LAG1986 · 19/06/2020 00:18

I started early straight after testing. Lol. No more early testing for me. Lol. X

LAG1986 · 19/06/2020 00:17

@sb12985 Me too. Couple of times I've been 1 or 2 days early. Believe it or not, both times I did an early PT to find out before my af date. Think I've been jinxing it. Haha xx

sb12985 · 18/06/2020 23:59

@LAG1986 Due Saturday and I'm usually regular to the day normally
