Hello and welcome!

I kinda wanted to make my own thread as I've been itching to POAS at only 7dpo 😒 I know I know... ridiculous right?

So need you lovely ladies to join in and keep each other distracted, share your experience, have a giggle/cry together and most importantly have each others support during BFNs and BFPs.

Please feel free to jot down your cycle/dpo info and when your AF is due so we can all keep a track of where we are!

This is also a thread where you are free to post any thoughts, poems, pictures, recipes, dreams and aspirations, the good the bad and the ugly 😝

As always stay safe and baby dust to you all!

Caramel x

Thank you @LittleTooMuch Sorry this month wasn't your month

LittleTooMuch · 13/06/2020 10:03

@wenders4 to tag just put a @ sign before the persons username - should work hopefully.
I have known this month that all the symptoms I have had are AF symptoms but its so easy to cling onto the hope that they are similar symptoms so had that little clutch at straws but this month was not my month. fingers crossed AF doesn't arrive for you and you can test

wenders4 · 13/06/2020 09:58

Jeez 'meant for' not 'rant' I'm not having a good morning.

wenders4 · 13/06/2020 09:53

Sorry below post was rant for Littletoomuch

wenders4 · 13/06/2020 09:53

Mich2020 (Sorry don't know how to tag) I was going to wait to see if AF arrives tomorrow (sorry I got my date wrong, AF due 14th June) if it doesn't arrive then I'll test. I went a bit mad last month testing really early tying my self up in knots as had a faint positive then AF was 5 days late for me but must have been a long cycle.

LittleTooMuch · 13/06/2020 09:47

@mich2020 - af came this morning 3 days early so I am out, hence it would have definately been a waste of money but the chocolate was not :)
@wenders4 - good luck, not long to wait now, have you tested yet? how are you feeling?

Mich2020 · 13/06/2020 09:45

@LittleTooMuch haha chocolate is a good shout. When are you due?
@wenders4 good luck. Hope you get your bfp this month. When are you testing xx

wenders4 · 13/06/2020 09:42

Cycle#4
Cycle day 26
TTC #2
AF due 15th June

Can I join as Finding it hard going at the moment tbh.

LittleTooMuch · 13/06/2020 09:38

@Mich2020 - I was stood in the asda the other day arguing with myself over whether I should buy one and convinved myself it was a waste of money so bought myself chocolate instead

Mich2020 · 13/06/2020 09:30

At least you manage to wait until your due to order them I'm a nightmare honestly. My app says I'm due next Friday but my period is always earlier. I'm
Due Wednesday on my dates. We shall see 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for us both xx

LittleTooMuch · 13/06/2020 09:16

@Mich2020 - you still have time yet. This is my thing though I will wait until its late then order and I bet before it arrives AF will have shown but oh well if i had one in it would have come back BFN so i saved myself some money .... doesn't stop me ordering for next month though :)

Mich2020 · 13/06/2020 09:12

@LittleTooMuch now the test has dried it has a slight Evap line on it. I know it's nothing more than that so it'll be in the bin right now so I can't obsess over it. I only have a spare frer as it was left over from last month. Got delivered the day af shown her face. After definite faint lines I was so disappointed ☹️ here's to another month though x

LittleTooMuch · 13/06/2020 09:02

@Mich2020 its just too tempting! thats why I no longer have tests in the house and decided I would only buy them when I have a genuine reason to such as AF being late. fingers crossed for you

Mich2020 · 13/06/2020 08:56

Said I wasn't going to test. So what did I do 😂😂 this is the biggest bfn I've ever seen though!! Will try with a frer Monday probably and if bfn then I'll await my period. I will be out of test then and don't wanna buy more to be disappointed 😔 x

@BronzeSilverGold13 that’s lovely, my first attempt would have looked like road kill so you’ve done amazing!

I’ve woken up feeling very distracted today. AF is due tomorrow and I have all usual period symptoms, nothing that gives me hope for this month 😕 On the plus side we’re renovating the house so we’re very busy this weekend with jobs so I’m hoping it takes my mind off the disappointment.

@CaramelTart23 everything crossed for you that these symptoms are a good sign!

BronzeSilverGold13 · 12/06/2020 22:40

Thank you I've pretty much finished now, just need the eyes and nose to finish. She's a little lumpy but don't think it's too bad for a first attempt.

Aww no your poor garden. I hope they recover.
I love Italian food. Pasta has got to be my favourite go to food.

My nips are on and off itchy. I've not had any tummy feelings today other than not eating most of the day. Not even felt hungry much, all I've wanted again is chocolate fingers. I've had some serious hot flushes yesterday and today! Dp actually put the heating on as he said it was too cold, I'm sat in pj shorts and a vest top!

Honestly I think everything is getting on top of me at the moment. DPs sister announced she was expecting before lockdown and now DP step-sister has announced, they're both younger and weren't trying so whilst it's nice for them it sucks for us. Teachers were very adamant it only takes once and whilst it does for a lot clearly not for me!!

I'm currently watching a nerd film I've not seen in years. How are you today lovely? Xx

CaramelTart23 · 12/06/2020 22:00

@BronzeSilverGold13 Wowwww 👏🏻👏🏻 I can actually picture the bunny. Great choice of colour ☺️ can't wait to see the end result! X

I've been keeping myself busy with a bit of gardening... bloody foxes ate our strawberries 😒

Mmmm I love a good bolognese and pasta, Italian is hands down my favourite comfort food but recently been sick of the smell of fried onions and meat altogether 😩 it's annoying because I'm such a foodie and enjoy all kinds of dishes... I think my husband is starting to suspect the 'oddness'

Yessss indeed you are still very early and your symptoms sound very positive. I'm also experiencing the odd itchy tingles in my nips but they come and go, also this sinking feeling in the pit of my uterus... it's really hard to ignore.

I've been having hot flushes for a few days now but today has got to be the worst... here I am with barely any clothes on yet my in-laws have the heating on as they feel really cold. I don't know if they're crazy or I am loool 😆

😂😂 haha my teachers at school use to say getting pregnant only takes a second... little did I know 😩

Any plans for tonight? X

@GreysLove Heyyy usually with the dip in temperature you will notice some or all of the symptoms easing off.. that's pretty normal. As you are now 7/8 dpo (still very early) you may continue to develop symptoms but as I say each conception/pregnancy and cycle is different... which doesn't help as in my case I'm always looking out for similar symptoms as last cycle but now realising all my cycles since I've been ttc have been fairly similar but unique in terms of experiencing one symptom but not the other etc.

Like I say you are pretty early my lovely ☺️

Congratulations to your sister in law 🎊🎉🎊🎉 I wish her all the best!!

I'm feeling a bit off... couldn't stomach a sausage bap today 😩

I have this heaviness in my uterus and tingly sore bbs, it's the first time today where I am getting symptoms where I'm not half heartedly imagining it lol. (9dpo) I'm sweating like it's already summer 😭 and deffo could do with more sleep ughgh

I pray we get our BFP soon!!

BronzeSilverGold13 · 12/06/2020 14:14

@CaramelTart23 hello,I POAS this morning and it's still BFN but I've still got time and I'm still using the cheap tests. My nips feel slightly itchy and a little darker than normal.

I honestly worried for years that I'd just get pregnant from having unprotected sex once! They never teach you that it could take ages!

I've attached the bunny progress I've done a head and body just got the arms, legs and ears to do now!

Honestly it's not one thing specifically that makes me feel ill, I love pasta when I'm not well but I just can't seem to face the idea of it. DP made some chicken strips in the air fryer and I pretty much had to leave the room. All I seem to want to eat is Cadbury's chocolate fingers.

Hope you're having a great day today, not feeling too unwell! xx

@CaramelTart23 I'm good today boob pains are definitely less today not shooting pains and much less of an ache.

Still feeling a bit lethargic but I'm going to drag myself out a walk this afternoon as I missed my exercise yesterday and although it's a struggle to get started I do always feel better during and after.

Sis in law had a baby girl last night just before midnight- wonderful news so that's a nice distraction, just hoping it's me next!

How are you doing? Any signs yet?

@runnerttc how you doing today?

CaramelTart23 · 12/06/2020 12:45

@BronzeSilverGold13 Hey lovely x

Yayyy seems very positive, I have also read on some medical reports online, implantation bleeding can be any shade of pink red brown etc. Every woman is different where some may get slight bleeding and others experience more of an AF type bleeding which is perfectly NORMAL too.

Im feeling a bit off today, have this heavy feeling that's sitting in the centre of my uterus. My bbs are finally getting tingly and tender. Which is unlike any PMS. I've always had no warning or a one day advance warning since 10 years old!

It's weird because every cycle in the past I've had 'pregnancy symptoms' before 6dpo but now it's a slow creeper at 9dpo

Ughgh why couldn't it be simple 😩

I think I might take up a new hobby, I've always enjoyed arts and craft back in school. Crocheting sounds like the perfect zen I'm looking for 😊 how are you getting on with the bunny?

I'm with you on that one, my favourite pasta dish yesterday didn't taste right, I can't really put my finger on it 🤨 even while it was baking in the oven had me gagging. Is it particular food you are off on? I think for me it's mainly savoury food than sweet x

@GreysLove Hey how are you feeling today? Awww well that is what we are here for! It's good to let things out rather than have it kept in... with most of us women here we aren't able to share our thoughts on a larger scale with family or friends. And it's always nice to meet new people on a similar boat 😊

Absolutely on the same page as you. I've always wanted a family but with Law school, training and masters, new house ect. I've always had it swept under the rug.

Now that my husband and I have all the time in the world, it's just frustrating because the past 6 months our lives have been revolves around making a baby and I feel bad for my husband to always get his hopes up every cycle so naturally have stopped having a conversation about it. If it happens it'll happen 😊 there's always another cycle to improve ourselves right?

Personal experience, preseed for me has been a godsend! X

@runnerttc I suppose you just need to try take some solace in the fact that things are getting more regular so you know when to concentrate your "efforts" ;)

I'm normally just a cramp on day 1/2 of AF kind of person. Just hope that these new symptoms are a good sign and not just my cycle throwing me a curve ball again.

Good luck on the waiting it's soo hard- the days are dragging in and I can barely concentrate on work. Without lockdown would be so easy to fill my time over the weekend and distract myself.

Sending BFP hopes and wishes to all in the thread x

runnerttc · 12/06/2020 07:40

@Greyslove, I've had the same thing many times unfortunately, I nearly lost my cycles completely last summer with my longest being 84 days! Its only been in the last few months things have settled which actually makes it harder because every month I feel like this is it.
No idea about aches or pains I'm afraid, I still have nothing whatsoever at 7DPO. I don't get any AF symptoms either really apart from cramps the first day she starts. So I don't have any warning signs apatt from my heart rate dropping 2-3 days before.
Temp is still high although down by 0.2 and heart rate is back up after a dip 2 days ago. I don't think I'm going to know anything until after the weekend... going to try hold out to test until Weds...

GreysLove · 11/06/2020 21:11

@runnerttc it's soo annoying! Thought I was getting into a really easy to track 32 day cycle. Didn't get my hopes up last month when I was a good 6 days late since other than that I didn't have any symptoms at all. Did a test before AF eventually came the next day. This month I definitely feel different, the boob pain is like a constant ache with now the occasional shooting pain (more on the right - is that normal as a sign or would it be both?).

@CaramelTart23 Thank you for being so kind and welcoming, so nice to have a supportive place to vent my neuroses lol. My OH is very lets just see what happens, take it easy, chill out. I am trying to be chill but I have wanted this and been ready for a very long time. I was with my ex for 8 years and there was always a reason to hold off, get a job, finish phd, buy a house. In the end we weren't right for each other so I'm thankful that we never had a baby together. But me and my boyf have been together for 2 years and he's the love of my life and we want the same things and both feel that things will work out how they're meant to. Doesn't mean I can't give mother nature a helping hand... Wink tracking cycles and taking my pre-natals, eating well and exercising.

Anyway it's going to be a looong 9 days to AF, will aim to test in 7 days with some early detection tests to stop me going crazy!
