@NightDreaming really sorry that another month is going by. Have you looked at trying something different this cycle? Not sure what you have already tried (probably everything so I'm sorry if this is not helpful) xx

Thanks @VP91x. I just wanted to write it down, didn’t want to bore anyone, but it helps me to try and keep a level head. I’ve kind of forgotten who I am a bit in this journey and although it’s important, if I can distract myself I think it’ll be a little easier.

How are your workouts going? Are you back on that programme (was it T20?) xx

Wishingfornumber2 · 15/06/2020 19:48

@MichT4 great positive attitude 👍🏻. I def need to do point 2! X
@VP91x I just tested a couple of times on sat and sun but only once today. Ahh fingers crossed for you the static is on its way soon! X

MichT4 · 15/06/2020 19:47

@Dipsy77 how is your stress and sleep? Things like that can make a difference to being able to shift weight. Were you doing anything differently before your MC than now? Don’t feel down, there’ll be an explanation, we just need to find it x

VP91x · 15/06/2020 19:46

@MichT4 I love this 🙌 and wow 80kg squat!! You absolute winner. Definitely focus on getting your squat and health goals.

Lovely to get it all down in writing. Soon you'll have a full chart of data and you won't have anything to worry about. ❤️❤️

@Dipsy77 it could be the stress making your body not want to do much. Maybe see if you can add in a small workout a day or an extra walk to see if that kicks things off? Maybe switch your brekkie to a smoothie or something that your body will digest easily. Cucumber and mint water is meant to be good for bloating etc. Xxx

Lovely to hear all about all the bfp over weekend. Congratulations to those of you who’ve had them.

Think I’m out this month. Pretty sure period is going to come tomorrow or Wednesday. Which I am ok with, to used to period and no pregnancy to be overly affected. However I’ve realised that is now been 3 years (with 2 MC) since we started to try and conceive number 3. This is making me feel shit.

@HE88 I completely understand the wanting to have a month off trying. I’ve been there. Eve probably all been there. But I’ve also got to ovulation time and found myself dtd as I can’t face not having a chance that this could be the month. Big love you. x

Dipsy77 · 15/06/2020 19:39

Has anyone else had a problem losing weight after MC ?, I've never had a problem with my weight before and although I was only 9.5 week when I had the MMC and I was bloated and had water retention and had put about 6 pound on but for the life In me I can't lose it, I'm not drinking apart from when AF arrives and I have one or 2 days where I'll have a drink and I'm eating quite healthy, I'm not drinking caffeine and I'm drinking plenty of water. I don't excercise although I do a lot of walking so I can't understand it I'm thinking it may be hormones due to mc although it was in February, I'm not used to it and it's really getting me down x

MichT4 · 15/06/2020 18:59

Just to add, I had advice from a prenatal trainer about continuing training and it was fine to do so. I don’t want any of you to think I’m terrible xx

VP91x · 15/06/2020 18:48

@Wishingfornumber2 how many times a day are you testing on the OPKs?

I'm on Day 7 of flashies!! My OPKs started getting slighty darker yesterday..so (im)patiently waiting xxx

@He88 sorry to hear AF is showing up. I think calling the doc is a good idea just to put your mind at rest that you’ve reached out to them and started some kind of ball rolling, even if it’s a slow one.

Ladies, as you know, today has been a teary one for me. But it’s funny when I read all your girls messages about feeling low, I want to tell you all to be positive. Funny how I can give the advice and not take it.
So, I’ve decided to turn this day around (watch it last the whole of 36 hours). I had a chat with OH about it all, about whether we should go private etc and he said he isn’t worried at all yet. I explained that for me, I wouldn’t worry so much if I knew I was ovulating. He told me I’d find something else to worry about, and annoyingly he’s probably right.
I’ve just trained, and it was really hard. I kick myself because my squat goal for ages has been to hit a 100kg squat (sorry, this is a bit boring I’m sure 😂, but bear with me). Just before I fell PG, and actually when I was PG and didn’t know, I did 80kg for 5 reps and it was so easy. I was over the moon that I was nearly there. Anyway, got PG, MC started and I stopped training.
Long story slightly shorter, today I realised I’ve lost focus of anything else really, I’m consumed by this and it’s not doing me many favours, apart from speaking to you all every day ☺️. So, here are my new focus’

  1. Get that squat and, and my bench and deadlift goals
  2. Get into better eating habits again. I’ve become a comfort eater and it’s no good for my waistline, or my spending because my clothes are tight. When I have to be back in normal clothes I’m in trouble.
  3. Be kind to my body
  4. Get pregnant
  5. Wait a few more days to see what happens with temps and such and then reconsider next steps
  6. Don’t panic about everything

In no particular order (4 first please 😜)

I just wanted to share that so you can all keep me in check. If anyone else wants to add some goals and help keep me motivated with you then please do.
As I’ve said before, I fell PG without thinking too hard, and I don’t think I’m giving myself a fair chance. I need to get back to where I was, and incorporate the new things without them becoming my focus.

If you’ve stuck with this, you deserve a medal. You girls are great and you’ve helped hugely today. I’m excited to see us all get to where we want to be xxx

Wishingfornumber2 · 15/06/2020 18:43

@HE88 so sorry if AF is on her way I can totally sympathise 😞.
@VP91x day 9 of flashy smiley for me and CD23 so don’t think it’s going to happen. Normally have a 31-33 day cycle. How many flashes have you had? I know the lines on the stick don’t mean the same as a normal opk but the left hand one was getting darker but has started getting lighter again. Going by previous cycles I thought I would ovulate this weekend and had lots of CM leading up to it so who knows if I did ovulate or not and somehow missed it 🤷‍♀️ X

VP91x · 15/06/2020 18:29

@HE88 yeah definitely givr them a call, I think it will give you that extra peace of mind and hopefully they refer you to the fertility clinic without too much fuss. ❤️

OP posts:
HE88 · 15/06/2020 18:23

@VP91x I think I might phone just to see what they suggest even if they could refer me back to the fertility clinic cause I have been ttc for 2 and half years now just hope they don't count the mmc as a fresh start so speak! Xx
Thanks @2020wish but this is what happens every time af is due its my bodies way of telling me the witch is on her way. Xx

VP91x · 15/06/2020 18:16

@HE88 I think you could if you feel you need the extra support now. Maybe say you've been trying for longer and obviously the MMC. Might be worth doing just one more test xx

OP posts:
2020wish · 15/06/2020 18:16

@HE88 your are still early. It could just be spotting. Fingers crossed it’s not AF x

elliew818 · 15/06/2020 18:15

@Renna there's is nothing wrong with you I'm sure. It's very unlikely there is an underlying issue - that's why most tests have to happen after 3 MCs. It's a right kick in the teeth but sometimes it is just bad luck. I've had bad luck twice now...my consultant actually told me lightening struck twice in my case as I had two very different and rare foetal abnormalities in the pregnancies I lost.
Sorry I'm not trying to make it sound like it's about me - just trying to say sometimes it's really just shit luck and I know if I get a BFP that I'll be petrified it will happen again but I have hope that things will work out in the end for all of us. It makes me feel better sometimes to think that only the strong people are tested in life because we can handle it, and you'll make an even better mum because of that strength.

HE88 · 15/06/2020 18:11

@hopeforrainbowbaby I'm 11dpo xx

HE88 · 15/06/2020 18:10

@VP91x and @hopeforrainbowbaby I did a test yesterday morning bfn told myself I wouldn't test but I did 🤦‍♀️. Would there even be a point in phoning the gp for advice. Xx

HopeForRainbowbaby · 15/06/2020 18:06

@HE88 which dpo are you? And have you done any tests? I'm sorry it looks like Aunt Flo has arrived. Still hoping it is implantation bleeding😘

elliew818 · 15/06/2020 18:06

@Eli2020 it was hard and unfortunately not the first time for me, we lost our first back in June 2017 at 12 weeks as well. I think every MC hits you but was worse for me the first time because there are so many unknowns, so desperately wanting to be a parent and worrying your body is failing you. I can only say that I understand what you're going through. It will happen for you I'm sure, i fell pregnant with DS in January 2018 and now have a crazy toddler running around. It's just a matter of time and you'll be getting your BFP!

VP91x · 15/06/2020 17:59

@HE88 gosh, I'm so sorry AF might be coming again. Did you test at all yet just to be completely sure? Xx

OP posts:
HE88 · 15/06/2020 17:42

Hi ladies think I'm out this cycle had some spotting this morning and then again just now 😭 which always happens before af. I'm just so fed up with it all now I think I'm going to take a break from ttc cause the disappointment every cycle is killing me. I just don't know what more I can do I feel like I throw everything into with no positive outcome!

VP91x · 15/06/2020 17:01

@Lynz2020 it really makes you realise how much actually happens in early pregnancy and how it affects us long term, but I think with time it will re-settle. You never know really! Xx

OP posts:
mrsssk · 15/06/2020 16:37

@dbtj that's good to know. The
OPK today is still firmly on zero according to Femometer and Glow apps though but will still dtd just in case.

@micht4 that's good to know but I really do hope it takes sooner than 2 cycles to come back. That feels like forever at the moment!
Definitely need to try and relax about the whole thing for a bit, I'm sure this stress I'm putting on myself is not helping at all

Lynz2020 · 15/06/2020 16:24

Vp91x its crazy how its changed because of the mmc. I get small clumps but I've always had that so dont think it's anything left over. I Used to get a sore chest a few days before too so I knew when to expect AF but now I dont, so it's a good job that i track myself. I've had the ovulation app and the test strips to keep ontop of what's going on.
