@HE88 that's what I thought too but now I'm not so sure. I've heard you guys mention SMEP but wasn't sure what it was. I imagine that's me out for this month now

@chloedancer897 I wouldn't worry you have done it loads by the sounds of things this cycle I only did it on cycle days 4, 8, 12 then day of positive opk and day after and I've not done it since. Ive heard people say it's important to dtd on the lead up to ovulation. Have you heard of the SMEP plan? Xx

@HE88 really I should have been waiting for that static smiley and DTD after so now I'm convinced I haven't done it right.

@chloedancer897 sounds like you are covered if you dtd on Friday day of static then day after you should be fine plus if you have dtd all those days leading up to positive opk then some swimmers hopefully have been lurking around ha ha. Xx

@HE88 no she hasn’t rang me back so I’m gonna have to ring at 8am tomorrow to get put on a triage list

@HE88 so I got a flashing smiley on Wed and static smiley on Friday. We DTD Tuesday- Saturday. Now I feel like we didn't DTD enough. We haven't since Saturday.

@chloedancer897 no question is a stupid question. A static smiley means that's your peak day so you will be due to ovulate anywhere from 12 to 48 hours. The static smiley will show for 48 hours. Xx

Really stupid question guys, if I got my static smiley, is that the day I ovulated?

@2020wish it is recommended to commence aspirin if you have had 3+ losses but speak to your GP before starting anything. There is very minimal risk to taking aspirin, it's often recommended to women with history of high blood pressure too.

Also it can be hard to diagnose and a lot of the woman say their bloods have came back ‘normal’ but after their miscarriage clinic puts them on aspirin this have full term pregnancies. So a lot of woman who can’t afford private and are on long nhs waiting lists just go ahead and take it and carry full term

@HE88 low dose aspirin is one of the first treatments for recurrent miscarriages once referred and seen by the RMC. The idea behind it is that the placenta doesn’t attach well or it attaches and blood flow isn’t great due to sticky blood or mild clotting( anti phospholipid syndrome) And low dose aspirin prevents this by allowing good blood to the uterus and placenta . Tommy’s recurrent miscarriage clinic advise this as a course of treatment but many gps don’t know about it or advise it because like lots of pregnant studies there isn’t enough evidence to suggests it actually works or evidence to suggest it doesn’t work. But even if u look at the treads on mumsnet or google so many women have taken it and had full term babies after loads of losses and believe it’s because of aspirin. After my second miscarriage my doctor asked me had anyone in my family had clotting issues and I said no but then found out my mums had this clotting issue that was diagnosed in her late 30s and she didn’t have it in her 20s when she had her pregnancies. So I’m thinking this could be my culprit. Photo attached of another mummy who posted on a thread about it

@ManchNic I’ve started to do the same - femometer OPKs with the app.

Here’s my 4 o clock one. Darker, still saying high though. I also found a Tesco one and did that too. Surely can’t be far off.....

@2020wish I’d wait to speak to them. I have no clue but another day shouldn’t make too much difference just to make sure it’s the right thing.

@ManchNic I use the femometer app along with their brand of opks. I've used it the last 2 cycles and quite like it. Xx

@2020wish if you don't speak to the doctor today I would maybe hold off starting until you have spoken to them. What does low dose aspirin help? Xx

So my second lot of bloods all came back normal APART from the coag AGAIN! I’ve to go back again on Friday to get them retaken.. Coag is your blood coagulation screen so clotting etc. I’m starting to think this is the reason I’m miscarrying fs I was going to start myself on low dose aspirin myself tonight at 2dpo but now I’m afraid too incase it interferes with my blood sample on Friday. But then I dunno if I’m putting myself as further risk of another miscarriage not taking it now. The girl on reception has sent a message to my doctor explaining I’ve just found out my mother has a clotting issue and I believe this may be the culprit and I need treated. She said if she doesn’t ring me back today I’ve to ring and speak to her tomorrow. Do you think I should go ahead and start aspirin or hold off?

Think I'm last to do this now but briefly my story is that I am 39 (40 in Aug) and have a daughter who is 5 this month. My wonderful son Henry died a year ago in March aged 18 months. In November we had to end a pregnancy after a fatal cystic hygroma was found, and in April this year I miscarried at 8 weeks.
Currently cycle no.2 of trying again, cycle day 24, 12DPO.

Pretty sure I'm out this month because usually my pregnancy symptoms are that I have no symptoms, so anything else usually means AF on her way, and already feeling period aches 😞

I have been eating healthily, lost 10lb to try and help (not really overweight but that extra 10lb was more than I usually carry), doing cheapie opk's, seed cycling, pregnancy vitamin plus extra vitamin d, use pressed (but not properly - don't insert it, just use on DH to make things a bit more slippery 😂), pretty much follow SMEP. Took coq10 for 4 months before conceiving last year, but that pregnancy was the one that had fatal diagnosis, so stopped after that. Thinking of taking it again but not sure.

Has anyone heard of men using pycnogenol to improve sperm morphology? Sounds good, but really expensive! My husband just takes conception vitamin and eats well/exercises, but that's it.

Trying not to obsess over things this month, and stay off google! Didn't use CB digital this time, but probably will again next month.

@MichT4 & @2020wish, do you use an app that analyses your opk's for you? Which one is that? I just go by how mine look but never seem to get a test line darker than the control.

I've actually been following a few of you on other threads! You're all such strong women, to have gone through what you have.
And it's so nice to know there is people out there who understand how you're feeling and what you've been through. Hoping that June is a successful month for us all! And can't wait to see loads of BFPs x

@HopeForRainbowbaby I plan to test on the 19th which is early lol but I know I can’t help myself so no point in lying to myself saying I will wait for af. I don’t get implantation spotting but last month I noticed a rise and dip in temp on day of implantion

@SmileyT @MissyBate hoping for BFP for you ladies ! Test in few days ( but personally I couldn't have resisted testing daily anyways...)

@elliew818 & @2020wish thank you for support! It made me feel better but we might have not missed the window👍We still sneaked in one more DTD ( so on ovulation day) so let's see what happens. I will be joining you ladies in TWW tomorrow, 1DPO. Anyways I plan to test around June 20 which probably ends up in earlier testing anyways because I'm impatient.

When will you be testing ladies?
Also did any of you have implantation spotting in your pregnancies ? I had it both times but like spotting on 9/10dpo.
