TTC after MC - June 2020 (Part 2)

@elliew818 it will just be nice to see the peak. Hopefully it will get my spirits up for a few days which will help with the start of the TWW too. It’s my first time with OPKs too, and as some of the girls have said they didn’t get their peak, in trying not to fret.

@2020wish you are right, I'm just trying to talk myself down from symptom spotting. Although I do have all those things you mentioned but trying not to get my hopes up too much! Also I'd hold off aspirin until tomorrow to see what doc says but then I'd go ahead and take it after that because it is safe in pregnancy as far as I'm aware - someone correct me if I'm wrong though.
@MichT4 I know what you mean, I was really impatient getting my peak too, especially as this was first time using OPK so wasn't sure how well they'd work.

@SmileyT yeah I did eat steak last night (cooked well done just in case which broke my heart a bit) so maybe that's the heartburn culprit!
@HopeForRainbowbaby I did have implantation bleed on my first MC which was unplanned - it was light but lasted about 4 days so thought I'd had a weird period because I'd not long been off the pill, so when I found out I was actually 10 weeks pregnant. Didn't have anything last 2 pregnancies though.

Hahaha @VP91x let's hope 😂😂🤣 I'm giving it two more days and then I think I'm calling it quits for this round 🤣 I feel like I may break into pieces at this rate🤣🤣

@HopeForRainbowbaby we DTD every day that I got a flashing smiley (4 days in a row!) then again the day of the static smiley, then 2 days later. We were utterly exhausted at the end of all that but seems to have done the trick!!!

As a bit of background, I got pregnant first time on cycle 9 or 10, then had a MMC. Waited a couple of months to start trying again, and this time it took maybe 5 cycles to conceive?

I have absolutely everything crossed for some more BFPs on this thread.

@VP91x yeah was halfway between post ovulation temps and ovulation temp and I know it may seem negative but it's just better for me to focus on next month then hope the result was wrong... where did you get your fertilily cup from? Boots? What did your CB say today? x

@VP91x thanks. I just rang my husband in tears saying we did it all wrong and he reminded me that we also DTD on Sunday (2 days post static smiley) so now I'm feeling a bit more positive. This TWW is the worst. My head is all over the place

@chloedancer897 I’m no expert on these ovu tests but I think it sounds like you’re more than covered. Your first static is the one you’d use to start your DTD streak, so you’re all good 💦🤞🏼

@VP91x I just took another photo in the kitchen and it says 64 now. Even though I’d say it’s faded and it’s probably too much time past now. Should have taken it in the kitchen earlier maybe.

I might try another one at 8, but I’ve had a drink so not sure how good it’ll be.

I feel like even though I haven’t ovulated, I’ve hit the point in the month where time slows down 😂

Thanks everyone yes I’ll update when I get speaking to my doctor tomorrow morning and see what she advises. @HopeForRainbowbaby I got my first extremely extremely faint line 9dpo last time and proper faint line 10dpo. And yes just normal low dose aspirin 150mg

@2020wish haha exactly. I got positive with last pregnancy at 9dpo( light line but it was there).

@ManchNic head up! You are not out until period. When I had my first MC, I have asked the midwife, whether I should expect the same pregnancy ( I had only sore boobs and occasional pain in pelvic area-around 4/5 weeks)..and she answers that every pregnancy is different and you might go through next pregnancy differently.

@2020wish im sorry to hear about your bleeding. I hope you get the proper care ❤️but it looks like you do have all figured out and there is very easy treatment to help with your clotting. Is this just normal aspirin?

@chloedancer897 to me it sounds like you are covered too. It takes one swimmer, and you can get be successful with dtd 5/6 days before your ovulation and not doing it again😘

@2020wish fingers crossed you get some more answers so you can adjust accordingly for your best chance of sticky bean x

Have any of you read its all about the egg? That also has supplement recommendations for recurring miscarriage and other scenarios when trying, I found it quite technical but also interesting and something I'm trying myself

@chloedancer897 I followed the SMEP plan the cycle I fell pregnant. I think you might be overthinking it, if you have dtd 5 days in a row with 2 of them being the day of your static smiley and the day after it sounds like you are pretty much covered. 😀 Xx

@HE88 thank you so much. That's really helpful. I have the femometer OPKs in my basket and will order another CB. I'm due to test on 20th so if that's a BFN (now I think it will be), I'll try this method. Thank you again x
