Anyone starting their TWW now?

Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if anyone is starting their TWW now? I got my peak on OPK yesterday around 2pm, another peak this morning but not as dark as yesterday! Think I have ovulated today (had some weird pains and cramps!) so now it’s a waiting game!

AF should be due on 19th/20th June but this is my first proper cycle since a MC back in April so not 100% sure if I’m going back to 28 days.

Anyway some TWW buddies would be lovely to keep ourselves sane Grin

Last month I had loads of 'symptoms' but then af arrived. This month I had nothing major, a sharp stabbing pain at 6dpo that lasted 20 seconds. Unlike any cramps I usually get and some thick globby cloudy ewcm last couple of days. I'm 10dpo today. Noticed an extremely faint line last night (but could easily have been indent). Then a proper faint pink line today. Xxx

Congratulations @yoomoo 🥳. I got a faint bfp on IC this morning after losing a baby in March too. Rainbow babies for both of us all being well 🤞🏻🤞🏻🌈🌈 cautiously optimistic with you xxx

Morning ladies! I can’t believe it I’m actually in shock here’s my FRER this morning! Compared it to an IC which is still super faint, considering the ICs say they are 10ml and FRER are 6ml I think they deffo aren’t as accurate as they think!!!
I can’t believe it after my MC in March I thought my body was broken 😭
Cautiously optimistic for this little one ❤️

Ahh @Jaym78 that makes sense! Awesome you can get bloods taken I do think you are a tad too early though for anything to show so try not to be disheartened. If you ovulated on 8th then you are only 9DPO today, the average day for implantation is 9 days so you could only just be implanting. I would take a test on Monday if I were you, although I wasn’t meant to be testing until Friday but I did one today so I’m not one for giving advice Grin

So DP just came down after his shower asked him if the test still looked the same and he said yeah then proceeded to want an explanation of how these things work, wanted to know if there is always a mark there. No DP last month I peed on bloody loads of them and even with shining my phone torch on it there wasn’t even an indent so the fact we can see something must be good news! He’s sceptical bless him, fingers crossed for a decent FRER tomorrow.

Feeling much more positive this time around though, when I had my MC didn’t get a faint positive until a week after AF was due and my lines never really progressed much then it was all over. Getting a line, albeit a squinted, at 10/11DPO feels good 🤞🏻

@yoomoo 11 DPO if I go by the temps but 10 if I go by the strips. And I had the brown spotting 2 days ago. I have some first response tests coming on Friday but I think I'll wait another week and see if AF appears cause if the low down pain is period related then she's obviously closer than she normally is for me at this point haha. So happy for you!

@yoomoo, not nosey at all no harm asking. And because I work at the hosp in maternity so perks of the job 🤦🏼‍♀️ so I'm not actually being tested it was a colleague that did my bloods for me.

However I thibk they've been done too early. I think your right I need a few more days. I'm day 10 DPO tomoz. I think I ovulate 8th.. Judging by cm. But be not used an app or opks tbh. I'll see what happens. Just so early to have all these symptoms for a period u kmow nausea painful boobs cramps past couple of days and heightened smell. Also montgomery glands are showing in my very painful boobs. X

@Stabal the brown spotting sounds positive, what DPO are you now and which DPO did it happen? Don’t be disheartened by the cheapie strips being negative I really don’t think they are anywhere near as sensitive as they say they are. I’ve never seen a strong line on one!

Welcome to the thread @Jaym78 do you know when you ovulated? Think you said you’ve been monitoring CM- do you know the date you had the most? That might give an idea. If your AF is due on 22nd I would say it’s a bit too early to test at the moment! I’m due on Friday and have only just got a small tiny line. How come you are being tested via bloods? Sorry being nosey Smile I’d also recommend OPKs they are brilliant, I ordered the Fermometer ones from amazon think it was £8.99 for 50. Just really helps you to pinpoint baby making days and then also helps you work out your DPO. The Fermometer app you can also upload pics of the tests and it analyses if you are low, high or peak. Peak means you will ovulate in next 24-48 hours! Hope that all helps.

Yes I'm 3dpo at the moment! Cycle 6 after miscarriage. How are you all feeling? I get so anxious every TWW. X

I’m so relieved, you begin to think you’ve imagined it don’t you?! After staring at stark white tests I found myself seeing things so instantly ran down to DP- so much for presenting him with a test on Father’s Day Grin
I will 100% be doing a FRER in the morning, I’ve got 3 of them so will do one tomorrow then leave it a couple of days between the other 2. If all good over weekend still I’ll invest in those expensive digitals!

Feel a bit shocked but nervous after the MC in March.

So trying to figure out my DPO, here’s my OPKs. Strongest peak was deffo on the Saturday but it was still present on Sunday albeit a bit fainter- do you think it’s safe to say I ovulated Sunday? Doesn’t matter in the scheme of things but interested to get opinions!

@yoomoo yes I see it!! You're in exactly the same position as I was this time yesterday! If you're seeing something on a cheapy then you should definitely use your FRER tomorrow! I did a cheapy first this morning and could see something so that's what made me take the plunge. Please update us tomorrow!

@Jaym78 yeah I ovulate CD19, so I have a short-ish luteal phase of 11 days. I understand where you're coming from, the days drag don't they? Try not to get too stressed out early on in the wait though (I know, easier said than done) because even if you have been successful, it will still take a few days to see a positive on the most sensitive of tests. Good luck!

OMG ladies - can you see it?! It’s sooo faint but came up after 3 minutes so deffo not an evap. Only an internet cheapie as didn’t want to waste my FRERs on afternoon wee grin hoping it’s not a fake line but I’ve tested a few times with these now and they’ve always been stark white so fingers crossed! I’m either 10 or 11DPO.

My DP can see it too but it’s not very good photographed!

So excited but terrified at the same time!

Sorry to be nosey.. M did u say u ovulate day 19 is this in a 28 day cycle?
So stressed about it and feeling really tearful today 😪

@Jaym78 I'd really recommend them if you don't get lucky this cycle. I was using Flo and that works on the basis that for 28-29 day cycles you ovulate on CD14, but in my case I don't ovulate until CD19 so I was missing my most fertile window by a good few days. I honestly don't think I'd have got pregnant any time soon without them!

@Jaym87 OPKs are ovulation test strips. You can buy bulk on amazon for a few quid. You start testing every day at the same time from about 6 days after your period ends until you get a positive result. Very helpful alongside temping!
