@XjustagirlX yay congratulations!! Fingers crossed this is it for you 🤞🏼x

@Kiza that's great news! When you think about it too sept/Oct is just around the corner 😊

LT103 · 01/07/2020 12:40

@XjustagirlX oh that does look good. Congratulations and fingers crossed for your scan next week. Hoping it’s a good sticky little bean in there!!!

Kiza · 01/07/2020 12:23

@XjustagirlX eeek congratulations! I think from my previous mc they weren't strong till about 6-7 weeks, hope this is a sticky bean for you! Bet your partner is getting even more excited now!

@Narwhal88 sounds like a very productive appointment with some good plans. The Hycosy and HSG are similar (think one uses saline and one uses Dye) and different CCG use different ones but think ultimately it's the same thing- looking for blockages. Hopefully you'll get all your tests complete and back within a couple of months.

@Annny27 crack on love with those symptoms! 🤪

So I rang the IVF clinic this morning, they confirmed they have all our results, have accepted our referral and secured funding. However they are still not open due building work for Covid but said hopefully I should have my first appointment sept/Oct. she said even though that will be around my 40th they are realllllllly hoping the CCG allows an extension of IVF due to Covid. So now it's just a waiting game and continue trying naturally.
Feel a bit more settled now I've got a rough time frame for IVF.

Annny27 · 01/07/2020 09:58

@xjustagirlx congratulations 💗💗💗💗 that's definitely darker and heading in the right direction

Try and relax which I know is hard after a loss/ectopic but its so good you have a scan soon xxx

I did another test this morning. It was a slightly darker positive. I keep hearing of people getting really strong positives on the day of their missed period. I’m concerned mine is not strong yet. I’ve got a week to wait until my scan but I’m trying to be positive. I’ve had some twinges on the other side now so fingers crossed that’s a good sign.

Morning:) cd15, no peak yet but lots of ewcm so reckon its round the corner!

@kiza @lottiepink bloody hate when my body does that and confuses you! Its so frustrating because you don't know where you stand

@XjustagirlX good luck for your testing!

@Lozzlepop let's hope that you have had a string of very bad luck and that your next baby will be a sticky one if you do choose to try again 💗

@Kiza appointment went well I think! She's sending me forms to book a TV scan, get swabs done from GP and a HsCosy (is that how you abbreviate it?! It's the dye tube test lol) and also day 3 bloods. I told her my private results and she said it looks fine, though she mentioned my high AMH could be a sign of PCOS but she wasn't too worried. When I googled it wasn't high enough to suspect PCOS and I have no symptoms so...
She is gonna analyse my husbands next SA and then if they are the same as before send him for genetic testing. She will also see if it is worth referring to a specialist urologist in London which I thought was good. She did say if nothing indicates that this will help it will be straight to ICSI as she wouldn't want to waste time.

Seems like you and @Lottiepink are having a confusing time with ovulation! It can be so hard to judge! I have just given up completely with tracking now haha. I have always got peaks day 11/12 which correlated with me temping too so I just base it on this now and BD every other day. Saves me stressing!

Kiza · 01/07/2020 07:44

@Narwhal88 how did the appointment go?
@Lottiepink looks like there's a few of us this cycle who have had weird ovulations and our bodies not playing ball like they should. Keeps us guessing for sure!

How's everyone else doing?
I had a slight temp shift this morning, only from 36.3-36.5 and my opks seem to be going down now so maybe I did O on Saturday? Going to keep temping as now I'm WFH most of the time it may be easier and I'm curious by it all! 😆

Busy day in the office today!

XjustagirlX · 30/06/2020 12:43

I’ve not done another test today. But I’m going to do one tomorrow morning. I had to get up in the night for a wee which why annoying is reassuring I think. I phoned EPU and I have been booked in for a scan next Thursday when I will be 6 weeks. Even though I have slight pain she said it’s nothing to worry about unless it is still there after having paracetamol.

Lottiepink · 30/06/2020 09:10

Good morning everyone!

So here was me a week ago thinking I Ov'd on cycle day 16 as i had the right signs, but my temp didn't shift, and still hadn't at the weekend, assumed it must be my first ever anovulatory cycle, but I done an OPK yesterday day 22 and it was a blazing positive! So I am assuming my body geared up for ovulation, and it didn't happen. I had a stressful few days last week and that's all I can put it down to, trying to keep calm now. Isn't it strange how you feel you know your body and then it decides to throw a spanner in the works 😆

@timswifey that's the app I use too 😊 had it for a year and a half now, and I think it's fab, I just don't temp all the time anymore, but because of all the saved data, I still know where I am usually, with the exception of this cycle 😂

@Lozzlepop that's so awful, you have been through so much, I really hope they will be able to give you some answers. How long is the countdown to the wedding? Honestly the virus has so much to answer for, been such a bizarre time. Hopefully won't be long until we can all get out and about again.

@orangeloo so sorry it's taking it's toll on you, it's such a long road lots of us have been on. I'm still confident we will all get there 🤞🏻 yes the break might help, and at least you are getting checked at the same time, it's another step in the right direction! Hope you are ok x

@XjustagirlX will keep my fingers crossed for you and hope that this is it for you this time!

@Kiza sounds a little similar to me, I also the last few days had the same with cm, going to do another opk today but think I'll ovulate tonight/tomorrow. I don't temp all the time anymore but usually get a rise enough to know it's happened, which I obviously didn't get, sounds like we both geared up for it to happen and it didn't! Could it be that you will ov yesterday and that's why there's no rise yet?

@Narwhal88 that's good about the telephone call today to get the tests booked, our GP did the same with my DH so made it more difficult for us too, as my notes etc had to be requested! Haha what a birthday present 🙈 it's always hard to hear of others having babies when we've all had such a waiting game 😕

Sorry for the very long post 😂😂

Narwhal88 · 29/06/2020 21:05

@Kiza They haven't said but I think it is more a formality so I can get sent for tests. Our first appointment was under my husbands name and she said she couldn't do any tests on me as technically I wasn't her patient as the GP only put my husbands name on the referral 🙄 so I had to get referred separately and book another appointment - it was meant to be in April. She wanted to send me for a TV scan and HSG I think and do day 3 bloods (which I did privately in lockdown and came back fine).

Kiza · 29/06/2020 19:48

@Lozzlepop I really hope you guys get some answers with some more testing.
@Narwhal88 do you know what tomorrow's appointment is going to be discussing?

1992EM · 29/06/2020 14:23

@Anny27 thank you , think AF is on her way . Have pink/yellowish cm when I wipe , sorry for tmi. Still have nausea and now have a head ache. So will see if she arrives. Due to start tomorrow x

Narwhal88 · 29/06/2020 13:45

@Ck236 I think the weather can affect it a bit but the trend is what's important so you should hopefully still be able to see it.

Ck236 · 29/06/2020 13:31

@Narwhal88 thanks yeah I’m going to try and hold off. I’m not even sure implantation happened. Do you think bbt is affected by the weather as in mine was higher last week when it was really warm and this week has gone down, up again and slightly down again.

Narwhal88 · 29/06/2020 12:50

@Ck236 I don't test now but it depends when you may have implanted. Some people get positives from 8DPO but most people it's more like 12/13DPO. Some people not till a missed period. Try to hold out for when AF is due if you can.

Ck236 · 29/06/2020 12:08

@Annny27 @Narwhal88 when did you guys start testing? I’m 9 days post ovulation and my temperature is a bit weird which is prob not promising but I’m not sure whether I should test and when?

XjustagirlX · 29/06/2020 11:48

@Kiza it’s very annoying when that happens. I usually ovulate on CD17 but I’ve had a few months where it didn’t happen till CD30 or even CD45. You get all excited thinking AF is late but actually you haven’t even ovulated yet. This cycle I had 4 separate peaks before I gave up and used bbt only. Maybe keep DTD and keep tracking bbt this cycle and hopefully you will catch ovulation.

@Lozzlepop AF was due on Friday 26th and today I’m 17dpo.

I showed DH the test and 5 minutes later he said he was getting himself all excited. I’ve told him we are not allowed to get excited yet.

Narwhal88 · 29/06/2020 11:34

@Kiza I'm ok actually thanks, got my 2nd fertility appointment (over the phone again) tomorrow and DH has his 2nd SA on Friday - on his birthday haha what a lovely present! Just fed up of the waiting game!
How are you? It looks like maybe your body tried to O on CD9 but maybe didn't and it has on CD17?? I'm not sure though it is confusing isn't it! I think it's hard to tell the change if you haven't temped all month.

@XjustagirlX hoping this is your BFP but understand you must be nervous🤞🏼 come on little sticky bean!

@Annny27 how are you? Are you having any tests or are you still waiting?

Welcome newbies :)

My cousins wife is being induced in a couple of days, preparing myself mentally for the announcement but feel ready for it. I'm glad AF is not due this week as I think it would hit me harder! I'm like 6DPO I think.

orangeloo · 29/06/2020 11:32

Thanks @Lozzlepop oh no that is so annoying supposed to be a fun year and turns out to be one we can do nothing haha. Yes let us know what nurse says, there's so many tests out there now. X

orangeloo · 29/06/2020 11:29

Thank you @Annny27 & @Kiza I will give myself some tlc in the coming days.

@Kiza that is really confusing and very annoying for you. easier said then done I know but there's nothing you can do now so just try relax. For what it's worth although your temp has dipped, it's minimal. I would take your temp again tomo and see what that shows.

@XjustagirlX as @Annny27 says tentative congratulations. Really hope this is it for you!

Lozzlepop · 29/06/2020 11:25

Morning ladies,

@Annny27 I think I will ask the nurse and see what she says about other tests. We did discuss adoption previously but DF isn't so keen so will just play things by ear as and when we know more info.

@orangeloo so sorry to hear it was a bfn, I totally get where you are coming from, I always saw myself as a mum and now it seems like its getting further and further away. Yes hopefully, the plan this year was to really enjoy ourselves after last year being pretty much on hold then bloody lockdown happened lol!

@XjustagirlX how many DPO are you and when was/ is AF due?

@Kiza we spoke about it all before and agreed to put off trying until after the wedding- mainly because we cant afford to do both at the one time lol! Thats annoying, what CD does O usually happen? Anything happen this month to cause it to move?

Kiza · 29/06/2020 11:13

@orangeloo sorry to hear your feeling so down, it's completely understandable and those of us that have been on this journey a while know exactly how you feel and have had dark days or even dark months. Take care of yourself and try to do something nice for yourself for the next couple of days.

@Narwhal88 how are you?

@XjustagirlX how unusual? Have you tested again today? I suppose if it gets to a week late you could go to the GP for a blood test?

@Lozzlepop sorry I thought it was 3 rather than 4, either way still bloody awful! I see what you mean and so hard when you are both having differing feelings on it. Have you both spoken about it again since it just agreed to not try until after the wedding?

So ladies I'm super confused and now wondering if I haven't O? After a peak on cd9, I then got another super strong peak CD 17 (I think it was that day) mixed with a few days of ewcm.
Out of curiosity I began temping Thursday and despite opk and CM saying I ovulate fri/sat ive not had a temp rise... I know the temping isn't accurate as I didn't start at cd1 but I'd have thought there would be a rise still after O? I've also still got a bit of wet CM and CP is still high and soft but OPK have come right down?? Grrr this guessing game is doing my nut!!

Morning cd13 here :)

@XjustagirlX tentative Congratulations lovely 💗 but given your history I would definitely call the EPU and they can advise whether you would need a scan or not xx

@orangeloo sorry about BFN lovely :( its such a heartbreaking journey isn't it! As @narwhal88 says, we will all be mummies one day and I can't wait for that moment 💗

@1992EM sorry about BFN :( test in a few days :)
