Is anyone else around 6dpo?

Hey, I'm around 6dpo but I have an average of 31 day long cycle so still got about 9 days until AF is due. I've had some twinges yesterday but today I had some cramps that were like mild period pains and a dot of blood in pants (sorry a bit tmi), so hopefully this is implantation 🤞
Just wondering if anyone else is in a similar time in their cycle that wants to obsess with me for the rest of their cycle? 😂🙈

Hi everyone. I am 9DPO today and AF due (one app says 9th June, other days 15th) trying hard not to symptom spot or test early! Good luck!!

Bic501 · 05/06/2020 09:38

Hi ladies, would you mind if I joined?
I'm 10 dpo (I think) got my static smiley on CBD opk on Monday 25th so counting 26th as O day.
I'm on cycle 4 ttc number 4 (crazy I know)
I have no symptoms which is probably good as then I can't really symptom spot. Took a cheapie this morning but it was whiter that white so big BFN. Feeling a bit deflated.

Hope everyone else is well, 🤞🏻 for some BFP's xx

@beachbum85 @MrsB25 I’m only 8dpo today so I know it’s way too early to even test. This morning when I woke up I did have that temptation to go and POAS but I’ve resisted - I think for the best, at least for a few more days!

beachbum85 · 05/06/2020 09:00

Thanks @MrsB25 - good to know I'm not alone in my madness Grin

@Emae26 I have never experienced that, but I've seen other threads where women mention that as a symptom... fingers crossed!

Coincidentally, and maybe because I was on this thread just before sleeping, I had really vivid dreams last night too, to the point where I jumped out of bed (waking DP in the process) because I dreamt there were bugs in our bed!

@Em1194 it is so hard! Last month I decided to test 12dpo and it really stressed me out (I could hardly sleep the night before) so I realised that waiting for AF works better for me. But I can understand how a BFN can help prepare for AF... I'd take it a day and a time and see how you're feeling Smile

MrsB25 · 05/06/2020 08:19

@beachbum85 you don’t sound like a psycho at all! I’ve tried loads of those things too 🙈 I was taking seven seas but have stopped them this month to see if they were what was making my cycle long and a bit irregular. I’m currently eating pineapple and a Brazil nut every day! We’ve also pretty much followed SMEP. Like you say, trying different things makes me feel better, it’s one thing of this process that I actually feel like I have some control over!

@Emae26 I haven’t experienced that before, but hopefully it’s a good sign!

@Em1194 it’s so hard knowing whether to test or wait it out isn’t it! I have an FRER and also some internet cheapies. I will try and wait until AF is due, but it is hard to!

Emae26 · 05/06/2020 05:53

Good morning everyone. I woke up about 10 minutes ago, which is like unheard of for me, I'm very rarely awake before 8 without an alarm. I've had vivid dreams again last night. I've also woke up feeling a bit sick. This next bits going to be a bit tmi but I found it very odd so wanted to know if anyone has experienced it before. I woke up feeling wet down below and straight away I had a slight dread it was AF really early and I popped to the toilet to find that my pant were really quite wet. Its definitely wasn't blood so they I thought maybe it was urine but it was odorless. I've tried to have a bit of a Google and it look like this clear watery discharge can possibly be a sign of pregnancy. Has anyone else experienced this? Hopefully because it's not something I usually experience, that's a good sign 🤞

@MrsB25 I'm going to sound like a psycho now, but I've been trying lots of stuff: Seven Seas vitamins, Vit E, Evening Primrose Oil, OPKs, SMEP, fertility massage, Preseed, less alcohol, more veg, more pineapple... Started out with just folic acid but it's been 11 cycles and trying different things seems to keep me a bit calmer.

But clearly none of this has been working! And no symptoms this month so the newest additions (Preseed and fertility massage) don't seem to have made a difference either. We must just stop all this next month and go back to DTD every 2 days...

I'm with you @Nat4392 and @kell2126 it's so frustrating isn't it?! I've always been very regular and never had health problems, so I was hoping I'd fall immediately, but boy was I wrong! Hmm

Em1194 · 04/06/2020 21:37

@kell2126 I really don’t know 🙈 part of me wants to test in a few days (and I more than likely will) but I’m worried if I get a BFN I will just start being negative, another part of me wants to leave it and just see if AF arrives.
So difficult! When do you plan to test?

Emae26 · 04/06/2020 21:33

@MrsB25 we really do! Me neither, yeah me too. Only originally came off early to get to know my cycles but thank goodness I did because otherwise I would have had to have waited over a year before my cycles got regular! Still not quite there yet but the last 2 or 3 have been the same lengths so think I'm almost them!

Earlier today I was walking up an incline and got really out of breath and got excited thinking it was a symptom before I remember how little I've been doing in comparison to normal during lockdown and it probably just shocked my body that it had to do some work 😂 I then proceeded to go lightheaded and thought I was going to vomit 😂

@Em1194 sounds promising! when do think you'll start testing with your frers?

Thanks @MrsB25 – and to you!

@Nat4392 it's so gutting isn't it. esp when they weren't even trying. a colleague of mine announced her third pregnancy last month and joked that her husband only has to look at her and she's knocked up. I died a little inside Sad

Nat4392 · 04/06/2020 21:08

Now 7/8DPO and zero symptoms apart from the mild cramps yesterday. Even my boobs aren’t sore which they usually are by now.
Very fed up today on hearing a friend is pregnant and they weren’t even trying!

MrsB25 · 04/06/2020 21:03

@Emae26 we do sound very similar in terms of our cycles! I couldn’t believe how long it took to get back to normal after the pill, luckily I came off it quite far in advance of trying. I’m the same I don’t really drink a lot anyway. I’ve been taking folic acid too. We also tried the ‘preseed’ lubricant this cycle and I use OPKs to try and track ovulation.

It’s so confusing to know what’s going on I agree @ShellMc2237!

No symptoms really, a bit of backache too for me but nothing else. The spotting sounds positive @kell2126 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Em1194 · 04/06/2020 17:54

@kell2126 another day of bad back pains for me today, just a constant dull ache in my lower back and a few mild cramps 😖 I’m trying not to get my hopes up either, bought some frer today but now having to convince myself not to test! 🙈

kell2126 · 04/06/2020 17:02

Anyone had any interesting 'symptoms' today? I had a tiny bit of pink spotting (7dpo) – trying not to get hopes up! x

@MrsB25 that's good to know! Half the time I swear I don't know what is going on with my body lol!

I'm just taking a pregnacare vitamin and clo capsule once a day, nothing else different

Emae26 · 04/06/2020 13:50

@MrsB25 your cycles sound almost identical to mine! I was so surprised how long it took things to settle down after coming off the pill.

I'm just taking folic acid and doing things like trying to avoid drinking ect but tbh I don't really drink anyway! What about you? Are you doing anything different?

MrsB25 · 04/06/2020 12:55

@ShellMc2237 I read that you can get all of the same symptoms as PMS. A lot of the symptoms are caused by rising progesterone, which would happen at this stage of the cycle whether you were pregnant or not! That’s why it’s so frustrating as it could be a symptom of either 🙈
How funny that a few of us have had vivid dreams! Let’s hope it’s a lucky sign for us all 🤞🏼
My cycles sound similar to some of yours, took ages to settle after coming off the pill but now average around 31 days. I’m not fully regular though so sometimes out by a couple of days.

Is anyone taking any vitamins/ doing anything ‘different’ whilst TTC?

ShellMc2237 · 04/06/2020 12:47

Hi everyone!
I'm about 7 dpo today, AF due on 12th June. Not had any symptoms until yesterday when I started to get horrendous PMS/ mood swings and feeling generally depressed and shit, now today cramps and headaches. Does anyone know if you can still get pms symptoms before implantation? Or does this mean I'm out for this month?

TheDaydreamBelievers · 04/06/2020 12:22

I'm on roughly the same timeline of 11th june being 2 weeks post ovulation. However, my cycle is totally messed up post pill (cycle 1 is 78 days long so far!) and I'm getting brown tinged discharge for last 3 days. I think I'm definitely out this month and this will turn into AF. I've found it hard because I have no idea what symptoms would be like on a normal cycle as I've been on the pill so long. Makes it easy to read into things!!!

@daisy0805 hi! It might take a while for thinks to settle down but definitely still possible symptoms could be pregnancy related! I found my cycles were really short when I first came of the pill Feb last year and they slowly got more regular and longer. I'm now at an average of 31 days a cycle.
@beachbum85 I'm so intrigued to see if it's a symptom and if it continues! Definitely would be a great one to keep an eye out for, especially with it being so different from the rest.

I've not started to feel quite nauseous but I'm not sure if it's the brownies I ate this morning 🙈😂

@CheeseSammich It seems to change every month really! But usually by now I would have sore boobs at least, and I don't. I have a bit of indigestion instead of the twinges I usually notice around this time Grin I guess the real test will come in a few days as I tend to have spotting before AF arrives...

Interested to see if having vivid dreams turns out to be a symptom! Definitely a nicer one, and different to those that might be confused with AF symptoms Smile

@daisy0805 I'm afraid I have no experience with that but I have seen several posts about needing some time to settle down after contraception, so maybe your cycle will eventually turn out to be longer?

daisy0805 · 04/06/2020 09:17

Hi ladies!
I'm 5 DPO today and cycle 1 TTC baby #1.
Super nervous with this TWW!! Having a fair few "symptoms" but I've only had my mirena out for a month so they could be normal for me without me necessarily realising. It seems like I have short cycles from ovulation dates etc - has anyone else found this?
I'm using Ovia to try and help me and log everything and it says to test in 9 days.
Xxxxx

Emae26 · 04/06/2020 09:03

@Em1194 sounds promising! Not long to go! 😊
