Is anyone else around 6dpo?

Hey, I'm around 6dpo but I have an average of 31 day long cycle so still got about 9 days until AF is due. I've had some twinges yesterday but today I had some cramps that were like mild period pains and a dot of blood in pants (sorry a bit tmi), so hopefully this is implantation 🤞
Just wondering if anyone else is in a similar time in their cycle that wants to obsess with me for the rest of their cycle? 😂🙈

Well I’m out this month, AF arrived today. Onward to cycle #11!

Emae26 · 09/06/2020 15:52

@beachbum85 that's okay xx

I've had spotting before AF before and although my AF is more regular it does sometime come a day late or a day early ect still so I think it's more likely to be AF coming early... but I guess there is still hope until AF fully shows up!
Thank you, I will do

@Emae26 thank you so much - I really appreciate that xx

I know that implantation can take place between 6-12dpo, so I guess it's possible that it's IB, but I have no personal experience of this as I usually spot before AF, and sometimes up to 5 days before. Sorry, I'm sure that's not what you want to hear right now!
Either way, I'm thinking of you and wishing you luck! Keep us posted

Emae26 · 09/06/2020 15:33

@beachbum85 thank you for you're support. I'm now about 12dpo and about 3 days away from when I would expect AF, is there any chance it could be implantation or something else and not be AF? Wishful thinking I know...

Sorry to hear that. I really hope you find something that can help your chances. Sending lots of love and baby dust your way xx

Sorry to hear that @Emae26 - I know how disheartening that is Sad
BUT, you're not out yet! I hope the spotting stops for you, or if it has to be AF, it shows up quickly so you can put it behind you and start a new cycle xx

I just discussed my thyroid test results with the GP, and I have some raised values so, although he didn't seem bothered, lots of health sites say it will be harder for me to fall pregnant. Looking into what I can do about that, but not feeling too positive at all...

Emae26 · 09/06/2020 15:22

Hey, hope everyone is doing well.
I've had some more spotting today and it's now a pinky red colour... think there is little hope for me at the point

@kell2126 I think I can see a line there, again! Hope it keeps progressing!

I'm due on Thurs, but am often a couple of days late, so I'll test on Fri if I have no spotting or AF by then. I ovulate pretty early, so I should be around 14dpo already, and the tempatation to test is really increasing. But I find each BFN really difficult, so I have no tests at home and I'll try hold out on buying one till Thurs.

kell2126 · 08/06/2020 19:35

@beachbum85 yes tested again this morning and bfn on frer but a squinter on an easy@home - I’ll post the pic below. Not due on till Friday (same as you, no?) so still relatively early days. You and @Emae26 have amazing restraint!! X

AF is due tomorrow for me and I’m pretty sure she is indeed on her way but you never know x

Emae26 · 08/06/2020 17:59

@sshl really? That gives me some hope. Just praying AF stays away
@CopperSelkie it's so hard not to get disheartened isn't it? Fingers crossed for you 🤞
@beachbum85 trying my best not too!

Had a social distanced visit with my in laws today and my mother in law was conviced we were going to tell them I was pregnant and about how one of her friends had a gut feeling we were going to... she doesn't know our situation and it was so hard to stop myself crying and just act like she was completely off ect. They don't mean anything by it but everytime we see them they either think I'm pregnant or mention about grandkids in some way and it's so hard...

@beachbum85 my pleasure I hope it helps.

I was looking at fertility meditation and yoga, it's meant to be great even if just for your sanity and calm and it can't hurt that's for sure.

I think that feeling more in control has really helped because before I was just hoping that I was ovulating etc but because I wasn't using LH strips I didn't know, I would then think maybe I'm not etc and I'd stress something was wrong with one of us etc etc etc then get annoyed at myself my partner. Sounds awful to say that but when you want something so bad.

Keeping everything crossed for you xx

beachbum85 · 08/06/2020 17:08

Ohhh sorry to hear that @Emae26, but don't give up yet!

@sshl that really does help, thank you! More than anything else, I was hoping the same in that I used to travel a lot for work and it wasn't always possible to be together during my FW, so I thought being home together all the time might make a difference. And I totally agree that doing something really helps, mentally if nothing else. Time to calm down, because I still tend to get frustrated and upset... maybe fertility meditation... Smile

CopperSelkie · 08/06/2020 16:18

@Emae26 the same here, I'm still trying to be positive as it's not quite the same as usual period style - plus at the end of the day, if one can get in for a bit at least, that's half the battle won, I just have to work on getting it to stay in!
Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

sshl · 08/06/2020 16:02

@Emae26 you never know though. I was convinced my period was coming last night and kept checking as it was so similar in feeling. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Thank you @Em1194 😊

Em1194 · 08/06/2020 15:59

@sshl massive congratulations! Lovely line 😍 wishing you all the best xxx

Emae26 · 08/06/2020 15:55

I've have period like cramps today and I've just had some spotting when wiping... feeling really disheartened...

@beachbum85 thank you 😊 I know I've posted loads now 😂 just needed that FRER reassurance 😊

So I'm 35 my OH is 43 he already had a son who is 18. We've been trying for well over a year now with tracking my cycle but I'd say a year before that just seeing how we went not tracking or anything. I have to say I was very naive to start with thinking it would just happen etc like you do until you realise it's way more complex than that. Anyway this last month I bought the ferometer app and the LH strips and the HGC strips and the BBT thermometer. So although I'd been tracking my cycle with another app (Flo) when I started using the ferometer app and the LH & BBT I was way more aware of my cycle although I wouldn't say we had sex anymore or less than before or anymore of a specific time then the other app. I feel like I was more confident knowing I was definitely ovulating although not sure that can help. I also cut nearly all drinking out, eating well, lots of water and herbal tea, I never have caffeine, I have been exercising more (yoga & running). My partner has also been eating better and excising but he been for the last year. I dunno it's really hard to say. I will say that me and my partner have been at home since March due to Covid. I've been furloughed and he's been WFH, although he is still stressed with work I think being home and calmer less stress has had a good impact. I dunno I believe things like this make a real difference. I also got some fertility crystals and a fertility crystal bracelet, I sleep with the crystals next to my bed and carry them in my pockets and rest them on my stomach. I know it all sounds a bit woo woo but I'm kind of a believer in things like that and it brings me comfort and makes me feel like I'm doing something. I've previously felt very frustrated and upset about not being able to get pregnant but this time I've been super calm.

Big ramble there but hope that helps xx

beachbum85 · 08/06/2020 15:32

Congratulations once again @sshl!!! Star
It's great to see these nice, clear BFPs! Sorry if I had missed this, but how long had you been TTC? Any tips would be much appreciated Smile

@kell2126 have you tested again?

These BFPs are really giving me the urge to go buy a test!

sshl · 08/06/2020 15:00

It's official 🥳🙌🏻😊

Feeling so much better now I've taken this test and it's so clear. Thank you all so much for your advice and support. I'd have been going crazy otherwise googling everything. It makes such a difference to have people to talk with.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of you. It just shows it can happen at anytime nothing different really to any other month and this is the one it decided to work on. Never lose hope 🙌🏻😊

sshl · 08/06/2020 13:19

Thanks everyone it really means a lot to have your help and well wishes.

I'm not so patiently waiting for the delivery to come if the FRER.

I know it's very low chance that it's not positive from the results I've already had but still want to try the FRER test to be 100%.

I can't believe it it doesn't seem real, I've wanted this for so long. 😊

MrsB25 · 08/06/2020 12:58

Congratulations @sshl how exciting!

ShellMc2237 · 08/06/2020 12:22
