Just want AF to arrive so new cycle can begin...

AF due in 3 days.

Am sure I'm out this month - negative FRER today and I have the usual PMS acne.

Just want my period to come already so that I can get this useless cycle over with and have a commiseration beer.

Just frustrating as have been taking pre-conception vitamins for months, cut out caffeine, no alcohol during TWW, have DTD every other day, tracked ovulation and with no success.

Anyone else fancy a moan whilst waiting for AF to show up?

@Ughmaybenot I’m a test nightmare, I’ll literally test any time, had to get some cheapies because my habit was getting expensive, the good news is that even testing an OPK keeps me at bay so maybe you could do similar? I think you want to keep until you’re about 3/4 days away from AF if you want to test early - sorry!!!

Well don’t know what’s going on with body this month, CD10 and entered FW but honestly feel like I’m in my week before AF, broke out in a million spots, cramping and constantly feeling sick, to the point I’m gagging brushing teeth and sleeping like the dead. Normally this week my skin clears and I’m full of beans 😔 worries I’m not ovulating as didn’t get a positive OPK last month and this month they totally clear even tho they should be showing a weak one normally now, building up for surge Monday

Ughmaybenot · 03/07/2020 20:02

Plus I’ve just been sick this evening for the third evening in a row... trying so hard not to get my hopes up!

Ughmaybenot · 03/07/2020 11:32

Ugh I’m really struggling not to test yet, does anyone else seriously struggle to resist??
By my calculations/assumption, I ovulated 9 days ago, but my predictor reckons i shouldn’t be Due for another 9 days, so too early yet.
But oh the suspense 😂

LS2020 · 02/07/2020 12:31

@Ughmaybenot yeah I’m almost freaked out by it because it was very definitely there and without being TMI, there was like a lot but not loads, almost how i imagined it 🤣 kinda glad I was so asleep and just flushed it otherwise would deffo have obsessed over haha

@mrswilso yeah could be tho I normally get it next week, very strange! Could it have been that your pee was less diluted yesterday and picked up higher than normal reading? Sometimes your body can surge and if doesn’t release an egg, surge again?

mrswilso · 02/07/2020 08:34

@ls2020 it could be ovulation maybe? I've had a wee pink tinge around ovulation before...
Done another strip this morning and it's come out 23% on the app so I reckon I'm gonna be early this month...or my LH surge is a longer one...planning on DTD whenever I get any positive reading so I don't miss the peak haha!

Ughmaybenot · 02/07/2020 08:02

That is strange @ls2020 . Like you say, it’s early, but 🤷🏼‍♀️
Keeping my fingers crossed for all of you 🤞🏻

LS2020 · 02/07/2020 07:26

@mrswilso well I’ve just had something very strange this morning, CD8 and had some very strong yellow and pink bloody CM... never had that in my life. We DTD on CD6 and not had any blood since CD5 so don’t think it’s period blood but surely too early for anything else?!

Feel like I’m gonna drive myself mad now because I’ve always convinced myself I would have IB when falling pregnant so I’ve always ‘known’ each month Confused but it is way too early surely

LS2020 · 02/07/2020 06:57

@mrswilso ooh I don’t know, I’ve never used them before but maybe see what today says? How long are your cycles? I’m really short cycles about 26 days and my fw doesn’t start til CD7 so seems a bit early but interesting!

mrswilso · 01/07/2020 21:04

Ps it will 100% happen @ls2020 💕✨

mrswilso · 01/07/2020 21:03

@ls2020 I'm doing okay! A little confused tonight though...I got myself some Femometer OPK strips and couldn't help myself, peed on one tonight CD4 even though the leaflet says I should be checking from CD12 onwards and it's 55% reading high on the app?? Whut? 😂
Do any of you lovely ladies know if that mean I'm ovulating really early? Like in the next few days?

LS2020 · 01/07/2020 09:05

Hi girls, how are you all doing?

Sorry been a bit quiet, been waiting out AF and onto my FW now! Feeling a bit odd - 12 months off contraception and 6 months actively trying feels like hard milestones. I’m torn between feeling like will never happen but then also optimistic because I’m doing all my fertility meditation and yoga this month so my brain feels calm.

My 2 managers at work have both announced they’re expecting now, one yesterday so had a good cry but feeling a bit weird now because I am happy for them, just hard to see people moving on with their journeys. @mrswilso it feels so annoying doesn’t it!!
Anyway rant over - hope you’re all keeping well xx

mrswilso · 29/06/2020 19:30

I'm going into cycle 4 too @cariboucarafe but to be perfectly honest, I think this last one would have been the only cycle that could really have been a potential positive. I've only been off the pill since early March. Had my withdrawal when I came off it then took a period three weeks later in April - which I assume was my first natural one so I'm discounting that cycle. I felt horrendous at the start of May so I think that would have been the start of my first proper full cycle.
Things felt much more "normal" in June symptom-wise and we were at it like rabbits so I was optimistic that we would get lucky - and hubby used his birthday wish for a baby too, my heart literally burst ❤️
I'm quite happy it's come early too - looking forward to trying again, just impatient haha!
Especially when everyone around seems to fall pregnant at the drop of a hat! What is that all about!? Since we started TTC we know at least three couples who've just tripped up and fallen pregnant!! Whuuut!? Come oooooon! 😫🤣

CaribouCarafe · 29/06/2020 19:02

@mrswilso I had a sneak period too - Flo had predicted it was another 3 days away! I didn't mind too much as it's usually the last few days that turn me crazy anyway! What cycle are you on at the moment? I'm just about to start cycle 4 of actively trying.

Hey girl! Sorry I've been quiet.
AF showed a day early yesterday so I'm rolling on into another month with you @cariboucarafe
I'm really considering getting some cheap OPK strips...trying to hold off for another cycle though, mostly because it's just another thing for me to obsess about ha!
How are we all doing??

Ughmaybenot · 29/06/2020 16:27

I’m glad you’re feeling more relaxed, and not too upset by the whole process. It’s such a weird journey for sure.

I’m trying not to get my hopes up now, my temp has dropped into my pre-ovulation temp range this morning, 6 days after ovulation, which can, I read, be a sign of implantation. Trying my best not to read too much into it because I’ll only disappoint myself if it’s negative 😬

CaribouCarafe · 27/06/2020 16:19

Ah it's ok. For some reason I strongly believed that this month wasn't THE month so it doesn't feel too bad.

Took advantage of the situation to buy some wine so am enjoying that at the moment. I feel each month I'm getting more relaxed about the idea of getting pregnant and maybe it wouldn't be too awful if it never happens - at least I have my wonderful niece and nephew to indulge in!

Aaah that’s disappointing, sorry you’re out this month @CaribouCarafe Flowers

CaribouCarafe · 27/06/2020 12:24

This thread keeps moving from my "I'm On" so I keep missing the new messages!

AF arrived today and am feeling just crampy and unwell. So just a quick update to say I'm out this month but I hope that some of you have some big fat positives!!

Ughmaybenot · 26/06/2020 16:34

@LS2020 aw well I hope it doesn’t get too stressful!!

I’m keeping everything crossed this month. I feel really positive about it, have tracked my temp and cm and everything carefully, i’ve been eating better, I’ve been exercising a lot more and I’ve lost a bit of weight. Trying not to get my hopes up but I just feel positive 🤷🏼‍♀️

LS2020 · 25/06/2020 17:15

@Ughmaybenot thanks, we’re going to try DTD every 2 days this month tho so not sure it will be that relaxing haha!

@mrswilso it’s awful isn’t it! I’m thankfully wfh but had every fan in house on me today. Annoying as can’t sit with a hot water bottle either! I used it as an excuse not to run this morning though 😂

Ughmaybenot · 25/06/2020 14:07

Ah I don’t know about that, but we’re very busy, certainly. And yes, definitely very little thanks indeed!

mrswilso · 25/06/2020 12:36

Aaah yes - dunno what it's like down in Devon but our receptionists up here do more work than the GPs themselves haha! All our receptionists have been in work all the way through, apart from the odd shielding one or two - but a good chunk of the docs have been "working from home".
You'll be the same as me then - a lot of hard work for very little thanks (most of the time!) ha!

Ughmaybenot · 25/06/2020 12:26

@mrswilso I know what you mean, I work in a GP surgery as a receptionist and have only just gone to my normal part time hours after picking up the slack from people off ill/shielding etc since March. And I only started the job in March 😂 Glad I’ve managed to catch a bit of the sun!

mrswilso · 25/06/2020 12:19

I work in pharmacy so I've missed most of this unusually glorious weather that we've had during lockdown - breaks my heart haha! Currently sitting out the back of the pharmacy sooking on an ice lolly soaking up every second that I can.

Ughmaybenot · 25/06/2020 12:16

@mrswilso isn’t it?? I’m in Devon, and went out with my horse at 8 this morning to try and avoid the worst of it, still red as a beetroot and sweating when we got back 🥵
