Almost filled the last thread, so thought we'd better start another one. Ladies feel free to tag everyone in.

@VP91x hey, have your temps stayed high post ovulation? How many dpo are you now? How long was your luteal phase last month? As this should stay stable every month regardless of changes in cycle length I think. Could it just be your 'implantation dip' I've had a dip in temp at 8dpo every month I've temped think it's caused by the luteal phase surge in oestrogen so could be that, apparently the dip is more extreme when you are pregnant 🤞

VP91x · 26/05/2020 05:05

@Rainbowhope11 yeah, I will probably try do the same. I said I wouldn't temp post ovulation this month, but here I am 🙄

AF is meant to be due on Saturday if I have the same cycle as last month (31 days) but because of my OV date the apps have pushed it back, but maybe this is based on them using a longer LP? So I'm even unsure when I will be "officially late" if I manage to get there! X

Rainbowhope11 · 26/05/2020 04:47

@VP91x It really is! I think if I'm unlucky this month, then next month I will just temp until ovulation is confirmed.

Ooh I hope those are good signs for you! Xx

VP91x · 26/05/2020 04:42

@Rainbowhope11 this whole temp thing is stressful 😭

Yesterday I felt slightly nauseous, but could be anything. I have that 'heavy' feeling quite low so I don't know. Yeah, I wish there was sure fire way of knowing early haha. Xx

Rainbowhope11 · 26/05/2020 04:36

@VP91x omg the same thing happened to me! I'm praying that it's an implantation dip? Everything that I've been reading says that implantation can cause a dip in temp, so I'm hoping that it's that.

I'm feeling okay, which is driving me crazy because I wanted to feel something by now 😫 like, why can't I just start vomiting or something so that I know that I'm in this month 😫😂

How are you doing this morning aside from the temp drop? Xx

VP91x · 26/05/2020 04:15

Hey @Re6ecc4 you haven't tested yet have you xx

VP91x · 26/05/2020 04:15

@Rainbowhope11 I've woken up randomly now so decided to take my temp and it's dropped from 36.63 yesterday to 36.30 today. I didn't sleep with any blankets or anything as it felt so warm last night so I am hoping that it's what's caused it. 😩

How are you feeling xx

Re6ecc4 · 25/05/2020 23:01

Hello lovely ladies, hope you're all doing well.
My boobs kill now. Waiting on AF to start so I can hop on the june bus. Due in on the 28th.

Rainbowhope11 · 25/05/2020 22:41

@VP91x thanks for adding me to this thread! A few more days for us! Xx

VP91x · 25/05/2020 15:29

@Diorissimo1985 oh god, I can't believe they didn't scan you at all!! Where are you based? It differs so much area to area doesnt it! I was scanned x3 once each week to completely make sure because I only bled once. X

Diorissimo1985 · 25/05/2020 13:57

Thanks @VP91x and @Chickoletta - I wasn’t even offered a scan when I miscarried last time as they said it was too early (by one day!). If nothing changes then hope to get one next week. Fx for everyone.

Ejb86 · 25/05/2020 13:51

@Chickoletta We will have to wait and see. Hopefully we won't have too long to wait.

@Chickoletta yes, they were MCMA twins, so shared a sac and placenta. Basically everything I got warned could happen to them, did.

Chickoletta · 25/05/2020 13:17

That’s exactly how I feel, @Ejb86. My dad was a fraternal twin and I’m 40, so I guess the chances are high. Somehow I ‘knew’ that it was twins last time, despite my morning sickness etc being no worse than with my singleton pregnancies. I’m so sorry for your loss - it’s always awful, of course, but to have got to 16 weeks, it must have been such a terrible shock. We’re your twins identical?

I guess we’ll have to wait and see what our bodies do next time...

Ejb86 · 25/05/2020 12:35

@Chickoletta I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my twin girls at 16 weeks back in September. I completely get what you said about wanting singleton or twins next time. Did you know you're more likely to have twins again after conceiving twins once? Also the older we get the higher the chance of twins. I feel like I'm meant to be a twin mum. It has also changed the number of children I'd like to have in the future.

@Diorissimo1985 - we were certain that I was miscarrying after being unable to find what we should do on a scan at home (DH is a vet specialising in cattle fertility and has a really sensitive scanner). Anyway, to get to the point, I phoned in a panic asking for a scan at the EPU and they said that they couldn’t give me one on the basis of what I’d said. The MW then went a bit cloak and dagger and said, I think you might be phoning back tomorrow, saying that you’ve had one-sided pain and a little bleeding... It didn’t feel right, as I had neither, but it got me a scan and sadly our fears were right.

Yours is an entirely different scenario and it’s likely that everything is fine - I’m just sharing as those seem to be the magic words for getting an early scan...

VP91x · 25/05/2020 12:18

@Diorissimo1985 yeah absolutely, always good to trust your gut feeling. Although I hope all is OK! I know if I get a BFP first thing I will do is ask if they will scan me early if not I will book a private scan they are between £50-70 normally. X

Diorissimo1985 · 25/05/2020 12:13

@VP91x exactly - I just feel off, and having experienced both a successful pregnancy and miscarriage I just feel... weird? Hope GP is understanding. Would welcome an early scan but perhaps they won’t if I haven’t any bleeding? Is anyone else having or had an early scan? Did you ask?

VP91x · 25/05/2020 12:10

@Diorissimo1985 it could be nothing but definitely contact the GP hopefully they can provide more guidance especially if you feel odd! We know our bodies best x

DBTJ · 25/05/2020 12:10

Has anyone been told they have a thin uterine lining

Diorissimo1985 · 25/05/2020 12:02

@VP91x feeling a bit weird still to be honest but I’m not letting myself test again until later in the week. Back pain is still very bad and cramping occasionally, enough to make me call GP tomorrow I think!

@Chickoletta we use Conceive Plus which is similar - it’s quite watery which is strange but no smell

VP91x · 25/05/2020 11:22

@Dipsy77 hope it goes quickly for you, yeah they become quite demanding!

@Mandy0831 I hope you get your BFP or at least you can start fresh with a new cycle xx

VP91x · 25/05/2020 11:21

@Chickoletta I'm incredibly sorry you lost your twins. That must have been heartbreaking. I think once you have a loss you assume that your body won't do it again by itself. But it gives you some sense of control to know what is happening etc. Or at least guess.

I used preseed this cycle too. Only used 1/4 of the syringe or less. A little goes a long way with that stuff!! Xx
