Almost filled the last thread, so thought we'd better start another one. Ladies feel free to tag everyone in.

@Diorissimo1985
Hope you are ok and managed to get through to the GP xx

@PinkRoses20
I'm not sure on this but didn't want to read and run. I would have thought (and from previous experience) that hcg tends not to be high enough to give a positive test 5 weeks post miscarriage, however, I think it depends on how far along you were. Also, have you had a scan to check for retained tissue? I would do this, and/or request bloods with your GP

@Diorissimo1985 hi 👋 I’m having early scan this Sunday just to check everything is progressing I had an early miscarriage 6th April so I’m so nervous I think we paid £70 but my friend sent me link for groupon and the same company are offering them for £40 at the minute maybe worth checking xx

SmileyT · 26/05/2020 18:37

@VP91x I'm all good thanks, mad busy day at work and I'm expecting it will be like this all week but at least it keeps my mind occupied, I've got everything crossed this is your month.

@Diorissimo1985 I had my BFP at 6w last time and went for an NHS scan at 6w3d and they saw the heartbeat at that scan x

PinkRoses20 · 26/05/2020 18:24

Hi ladies, looking for a bit of advice. I had a miscarriage 5 weeks ago and bleed stopped completely after 2 1/2 weeks. I have been getting faint positives for the last week but don't seem to be getting clearer. I had a negative result on a supermarket test 3 weeks after miscarriage but now i'm worried this may still be a faint positive from this??

Jazper · 26/05/2020 14:44

@Diorissimo1985 I think it all depends on the doctor. My doctor referred me for one with my first baby as I had previously had a CP. I didn't ask him, he just offered. Though that was almost 12 years ago. I think they have tightened up a bit now, and even more so during the current climate. I could imagine it being quite hard to get an NHS early scan at the moment.
At 8 weeks though, I could see a 'blob' and a heartbeat ☺️

peonyrose87 · 26/05/2020 14:41

@Diorissimo1985 I had an early scan with my first pregnancy in December, I was 7 weeks. I hope everything is ok for you x

VP91x · 26/05/2020 14:22

@Diorissimo1985 yeah, definitely keep trying. Hopefully all is Ok! If not maybe pop down to your local Urgent Care or A&E see if they can send you across for a scan? X

Diorissimo1985 · 26/05/2020 14:14

Thanks both - I don’t have an EPU, it’s just the main radiology dept that does the scans. Going to keep trying GP - it’s just engaged every time I call! Might just have to go in Grin

Ejb86 · 26/05/2020 13:59

@Diorissimo1985 I had a private early scan at about 6 weeks, was told it was too soon to see anything. Went back at 8 weeks, was told she thought there were two heart beats and come back again at 9 weeks where it was confirmed.

I've never had an early scan at the hospital but my consultant said I can have one at 5 weeks this time as a reassurance after losing the girls.

@Diorissimo1985 I was just over 6w at my first scan. Have you got a local Early Pregnancy Unit you can contact? X

Diorissimo1985 · 26/05/2020 12:14

Ladies - if you've had early scans in previous pregnancies, how many weeks were you? I had one in my first pregnancy at 5+4 but only to confirm it wasn't ectopic and only yolk/sac could be seen. I wasn't offered one when I miscarried last month as was told it was too early at 4+6. Can't get through to GP today, I'm trying to get an appointment as have back ache and cramping.

Re6ecc4 · 26/05/2020 10:46

Thanks @VP91x but I'm not feeling massively hopeful - I've had small cramping this morning

VP91x · 26/05/2020 10:39

@Re6ecc4 ahh, that's a good idea!! I hope AF stays away for you 🙏

Re6ecc4 · 26/05/2020 10:03

Hey @VP91x no I havent tested, I haven't got any in the house to save the temptation and I'm having to isolate now so I'm telling myself I can't get any!

VP91x · 26/05/2020 08:46

@Hayleylou89 haha, morning sickness is crap though isnt it? I completely went off meat and chicken until my third trimester, but was constantly hungry so I survived on cheese toasties haha 😂

Well 7DPO on Fertility Friend and 9DPO on Femometer but I reckon FF is more accurate so going with 7DPO. X

Hayleylou89 · 26/05/2020 08:41

@VP91x Yeah im feeling ok still getting the extreme hunger feelings when i wake which i know developed into morning sickness last time but it only lasted about 2 weeks but it was a horrendous 2 weeks! But now i will never complain and just take it all on the chin and be grateful im spewing up if anything haha .. when r u testing then .. what dpo are u now? X

peonyrose87 · 26/05/2020 08:29

Morning ladies! My boobs have been aching since yesterday and I had some brown discharge last night with cramps so I'm just waiting on AF arriving any day now. My cycles before MC we're 27 days, which will be tomorrow so it seems about right 😭

VP91x · 26/05/2020 08:27

@Hayleylou89 oh yeah I see what you mean with your dip!

Aw amazing!! You been feeling ok? Xx

Hayleylou89 · 26/05/2020 08:22

@VP91x my chart is below, im still charting now but will probably stop soon as no point really. I feel like my coverline is quite high anyway but i was noticeably hotter when i woke up as it did nearly hit 37 at one point x

Aww she was absolutely buzzin and so suprised!! She just said "its the best birthday present ever" haha x x

Hayleylou89 · 26/05/2020 08:03

Morning girls just checking in .. i think ur temps look fine and still all above the coverline which is promising 🙏 i had a big dip just before my bfp so thats not always a bad thing, although at the time i thought thats it, im out! So frustrating how so many signs are similar to AF approaching 🙄looking forward to all ur testing windows soon i started at 9dpo with cheapies and seen a vvvvvvv faint positive on asda £3.50 test 🙏🌈💖

VP91x · 26/05/2020 06:53

@SmileyT yeah going to wait until Friday which would make me 10DPO based on FF. I know odd about femometer it's completely different.

How are you today? X

SmileyT · 26/05/2020 06:49

@VP91x yeah I think based on temps and LH I'd say 7dpo - interesting that femometer has put it on the 1st day of your peak lh test, you're testing on Friday aren't you? Everything crossed this is your month x

VP91x · 26/05/2020 06:29

@SmileyT not sure if my Femometer one is better to look at for you attached that too!

VP91x · 26/05/2020 06:25

Morning @SmileyT I've attached my chart! Fertility Friend has me at 7DPO again. Femometer is still putting me at 9DPO 😒. I'm really in the dark with last month as I never done BBT until the last 3/4 days and I never got a positive on CB and gave up! So, no idea which is annoying! Xx
