TWW Symptoms?! First time trying

Hi everyone, first time trying so thought I would also see if there are any first timers on here! My boyfriend and I have just started trying, I worked out my fertile days and they were apparently 17-22nd of May, I struggled working out my days so I have just downloaded an app. To put it plainly we’ve DTD everyday this week! So feeling very tired anyway, but I am having such strange symptoms, obviously trying not to think too much into this all but would be good to get a chat going if it is also your TWW! As this is my first wait and already it’s making me impatient!! The past couple of days I have felt a bit of nausea but I have extreme bloating and I mean from when I get up in the morning to when I go to sleep at night! Nothing soothes it. And I am TIRED, I don’t mean ‘I could just have a little nap’ tired, I mean falling asleep absolutely everywhere uncontrollably tired haha my app says I am due to test on the 3rd June. I have already taken a test and it was negative which from my research it would be as even if I am pregnant I wouldn’t have had enough hcg levels to detect anything!

So yeah it would be great to get a chat going maybe for newbies or people also in the TWW!

Look forward to chatting with you all!

@freddie15ves aw our wedding Anniversary is 15th and I'm due AF on 11th so I'm hoping for good news then too! Feels so long away though?!
@mrswilso will you do it with your partner or tell them after?

Freddie15VES · 28/05/2020 20:12

@mrswilso hiya! All good thanks. I also feel weird, boobs are veryyyy veiny, keep waking up at 4am for some reason (normally sleep like a log) and I’ve been having weird sharp pains under my belly button. Could be AF coming though! I also have some early tests, ready and waiting haha my OH has just asked if I’ll do one tonight and I said no haha I’m holding off. It’s his birthday on the 15th June so I would absolutely love to surprise him then. If I could hold off that long from telling him! Hahaha. Wouldn’t it be good if we could all test at the same time! Xx

Of course! I'm trying not to get my hopes too high so I'll be shaking if it's a bfp haha!

SarahTTC2020 · 28/05/2020 19:56

Hi @mrswilso !! I bet it must be tempting! I ordered a FR today because I thought I should have a couple in the house for nearer the time.
A couple of girls on another thread had bfp after no symptoms this week so you never know 🤞

My day has been ok, just work from home and trying not to read MN all the time 🤣

Will you share pics when you test?

mrswilso · 28/05/2020 19:51

Hi @sarahttc2020 @freddie15ves 👋🏻

How's your day been?

I'm 9/10dpo today and feel a bit...weird? I haven't really got any symptoms as such, some cramping and bloating but nothing spectacular! Due AF on Monday but I have a few first response early tests...and I'll probably do one on Saturday morning...if I can hold off the temptation to potentially waste one trying tomorrow after work 😂

Hope you girls are feeling good!

mrswilso · 27/05/2020 22:29

Hi @sarahttc2020 👋🏻☺️ sending babydust! ✨

SarahTTC2020 · 27/05/2020 19:49

Hi all, first time for me too! Had positive OPKs on Fri/Sat and so did it a couple of time over the long weekend but reading about how often some people were having sex, it makes me think we should have done it more 🙈
Now the wait starts... Got over 2 weeks though til af due as I have 42 day cycles, feels a lifetime!

Freddie15VES · 26/05/2020 19:12

@mrswilso nothing much for me! On and off had a twinging pain in my lower right abdomen, but that could be literally anything! Just trying to get it out of my head that it could happen first time! Awaiting AF in a week or so, so will keep you updated! Xx

Hi ladies!
Nothing new for me today either. Holding off testing until at least Monday this time round - wasted so many tests last month!
Anyone noticing any symptoms yet? x

Freddie15VES · 26/05/2020 11:26

Ah okay! Yes I’m the same, nothing new to report. Just a waiting game now isn’t it! Wish you luck anyway!

@Freddie15VES Morning! Nothing exciting i think my cycle isn't too far off what my app said. I was spotting yesterday, which i think is after ovulation. I think its unlikely that it will happen the first month for us!

How about you?

Freddie15VES · 26/05/2020 09:40

@Hilly20 @mrswilso
Hi both
Just thought I’d check in to see how you’re both doing? Nothing yet for me, just patiently waiting x

@freddieVES It is indeed! Yeah it really is, 15 years on the pill and came off and didn't have my time of month for 4 months! I do have an app but due to irregular periods, i'm not sure if it correct, until i get into a regular cycle.

First time would be amazing! Good Luck!

mrswilso · 24/05/2020 18:47

I've been using a combination of Ovia app to track my cycle and also my Fitbit - there's a cycle tracker on there and I've recently noticed a link between my resting heart rate and my cycle after coming across posts here on Mumsnet!

It's nice to have some company along the way - got my fingers crossed for you both 🤞🏻

Freddie15VES · 24/05/2020 17:13

@Hilly20 @mrswilso hi both! Good to have newbies to talk with. It’s hard getting used to cycles etc and now your body works isn’t it!

See I normally get the bloating and pain the day my period arrives. So this is a new one for me. According to this app I’m done with ovulation so unsure. Don’t want to get my hopes up but a first time would be amazing!

@Hilly20 have you tried downloading an app to track everything? I’m in no way an expert on anything fertility wise so I’ve just got the Ovia app and it’s really helped me. Fingers crossed for all of us!

Hello! I'm new too!

2nd cycle TTC for the first time after 14 years on Cilest.
I'm in my second TWW right now and I've not noticed a lot of symptoms this time around - last month I was convinced I must be pregnant though. I was horrendously bloated and uncomfortable, crampy, overtired, emotional, my boobs were swollen and my nipples were darker and uncomfy in my bra and clothes but I'm assuming it was just my body readjusting to the first cycle without the pill.

I'm due AF on June 1st so I'm into the last week of waiting now.
Will update if I notice any symptoms this coming week 🤞🏻

Hilly20 · 24/05/2020 16:23

Hi!
I'm currently a total first timer too started TTC this month, i'm trying to learn all the acronyms etc on here and currently trying to learn my cycle however i think its all off! I've been having bloating and nausea at night on odd days... but not sure if ovulation and different effects due being off the pill!
