I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

Ladies, I was just driving home now and I saw a beautiful rainbow 🌈 we've had no storm or anything, it's been a lovely warm sunny day and just saw this magical rainbow out of the blue!

I'm hoping that this is a good sign for all of us on this thread. Sending everyone lots of love 💕🌈

chloedancer897 · 07/06/2020 00:56

How is everyone doing? Are we all due AF around the same time? I’m due on 20th. Just had my static smiley face yesterday so DTD yesterday and today. Fingers crossed for everyone!❤️

SmileyT · 06/06/2020 23:07

@Renna so glad you've joined me in the TWW and I honestly feel like it's been great for me telling people, I didn't think I would but actually I've told most people I've spoken to now and it really helps with not bottling it up.

@VP91x I'm really good thanks, went home to my parents Friday night and we naughtily had my nephews to sleep over and sister came over today aswell so been keeping busy with them back home now to sleep - probably would've stayed another night but left my Fitbit charger at home and wanted to keep track of RHR 😂 bet you can't wait to get into fertile period, when will you start opks? X

Just been catching up with everything and sending lots of love to everyone at their different stages x

@Bellabubble aah that's good to know! I feel hopeful after hearing about everyone who dtd once or twice and got lucky! Haha yes I remember you said you didn't have a door for a while!

HopeForRainbowbaby · 06/06/2020 22:00

@Re6ecc4 lot of hugs! I hope that you can find some comfort with us ladies here 😘

Rainbowhope11 · 06/06/2020 21:57

@Renna @MichT4 aw thank you for giving me some hope! I've been wanting to kick myself all morning because I may have missed my most fertile days, but my DH has been trying to get me to see that even if that's the case, at least I'm ovulating again. @Renna hopefully I'll get lucky!

@VP91x I didn't get a static on cb, but I don't know if i will if I started testing so late. My pregnant opk is not as dark today, but still quite dark if that makes sense. I'm going to dtd again today and tomorrow and hopefully I would have caught the tail end of my window! But either way, I feel a bit more relaxed than a few weeks ago. How are you doing?

HopeForRainbowbaby · 06/06/2020 21:54

@2020wish I know of many mamas who got pregnant first time in their late 30s. Don't lose hope❤️Miscarriages are common unfortunately and we found ourselves here for this reason. I have received once an advice that it is better not to plan on how to accommodate baby in your life before it happens. it reduces your stress in advance as well as you can go ahead with your life and plans in the meantime. Saying that I wish you BFP with sticky baby this month😘 and I'm sure when ( as it is just a matter of time;) ) you are pregnant, you will adjust and juggle all activities like a pro 👍

Also how exciting that you are planning your wedding and ladies are preparing your hen party ! Very nice activities to look forward to ☺️

peonyrose87 · 06/06/2020 21:52

@Re6ecc4 so sorry. Sending hugs xx

2020wish · 06/06/2020 21:50

@Re6ecc4 sorry to hear :( hugs xx

Re6ecc4 · 06/06/2020 21:38

Hi ladies, sorry for disappearing again last time round. Spent a good week crying and breaking down over the miscarriage, havent been this bad in months.
Hey @VP91x

MichT4 · 06/06/2020 21:37

@Bellabubble it must be so lovely with your own place now! Can’t imagine the extra stresses of trying to keep it down with no door and parents nearby 😳😂

2020wish · 06/06/2020 21:29

@Rainbowhope11 sorry I was meant to tag you up top in my message and not @HopeForRainbowbaby x

Bellabubble · 06/06/2020 21:28

@Hayleylou89 @Renna - it’s ironic as the forst time oh and I fell pregnant we only dtd once, and thought we had missed our chance (which now I think completely relaxed us!) but sonce we have tried so much and I’m wondering whether the stress is not helping us! I decided not to tell oh I had my peak - I just said, we should probably get a bit more practise in before my peak sometime next week - and he was like a different person! I had my lh peak yesterday eve so we dtd last night, and I might instigate tomo morn so he doesn’t get suspicious and start to panic lol! He takes things to heart a lot so I think he was super stressed but not letting on whenever I was telling him it was time etc! Luckily now we have our own house it’s easier overall! We weren’t really getting to have that much dtd for funsies with no bedroom door - bless him!

Bellabubble · 06/06/2020 21:20

@Rainbowhope11 don’t worry of you didn’t dtd too much before! The first time I fell pg my temp had shot up that morning meaning I had already ovulated - I hadn’t been doing any other tracking, hubby and I gave it a go anyways as everyone was out and we hadn’t had a chance before (were living with my parents at the time and I had no door lol!) and I fell pregnant! Since my mmc we have tried smep and haven’t managed to fall pg yet (4th cycle now but am still positive as it’s been a stressful few months!) but I have tried to do it less this month as it was totally stressing out my oh having to perform!

2020wish · 06/06/2020 21:13

I just feel with how I’m struggling now that being 35 and over and the chances of miscarriage is higher then I’ll just be putting myself more at risk of further losses

VP91x · 06/06/2020 21:09

@2020wish sorry I hadn't seen the responses after your first initial post!

I completely agree with what the girls have said. We mourn the life we planned when we found out we were pregnant and now we have to adjust. You absolutely have to make sure you do what is right for you. If you want to pause TTC soon so that you are able to feel amazing at your wedding then don't feel guilty.

Things have a funny way of happening when they are meant to. ❤️

Hopefully you fall PG again soon like you want and it all works out with timing. Also 35 isn't old, I know they say it makes things a bit more challenging but lots of people have babies older these days xx

VP91x · 06/06/2020 21:02

@MichT4 hey 😊 if you get the strip ones then two/three times a day. I'd say first thing, then like 2pm, 6pm. It can change really quickly!!

And yeah 12-36hrs for your ovulation from your peak 😊

@2020wish don't lose hope!!

@Rainbowhope11 oh, amazing. That's so good that you got a positive OPK even if it was a surprise. Did you gwt your static after with CB? Are you still getting positives on the OPKs? Xx

2020wish · 06/06/2020 20:56

Thank you all. Thank you for being my outlet. I’ve been a crying sack of tears today and no one else understands. Here’s to rainbow babies for us all.

MichT4 · 06/06/2020 20:50

@Rainbowhope11 I think you’ve still got time to do enough this month. Only takes the once after all, and you’ve got a few days to get a nice big batch waiting ☺️
It’s great you can feel ovulation too xx

MichT4 · 06/06/2020 20:49

*perfect

MichT4 · 06/06/2020 20:48

@2020wish, I agree you are no way selfish. I actually think from what you just said, that the way you feel could do you a favour. You have something huge to focus on (Congratulations by the way) and maybe if you think about that then you’ll take pressure off yourself TTC. At some point you might choose to pause and that’s ok too.
I’m not engaged but when we fell I was a bit worried about delaying things that might happen, like getting married (I feel terrible for thinking that now as I wonder if I jinxed it 😢). But life has a habit of throwing curveballs and you’ll adjust however it works out. Don’t put pressure on yourself to fall pregnant again, and if you did get a BFP nearer to the wedding than you’d like then just make it a new challenge to get to how you want for your pics. I’m sure OH will think you look just as gorgeous and sexy anyway, and you’ll feel amazing whichever happens first.

I hope all that makes sense. I just hope you can give yourself a hug and I’m sure it’ll happen sooner than you think. Whichever order it happens it’ll be perfect. But don’t be afraid to do what you need to do either way, whether that means pausing or if that means having a younger baby on your wedding day. Both are amazing things to look forward to, and both would be prefect xxx

2020wish · 06/06/2020 20:32

Thank you :( so fed up with these emotions but give give anything to have a heathly pregnancy this cycle. All the morning sickness included.

Friend on Facebook posted today about how fed up she is with being pregnant and fed up with the side effects. Boy did I want to yell at her lol

Renna · 06/06/2020 20:29

@2020wish not selfish at all babe xx it's your life and you know how youd like it to go and I think one of the most heart breaking things with MC is the loss of all the plans we make . I know that was one of the hardest things for me all the plans I'd made ,, even just in my head or that wed talked about all gone and nothing I could do about it xxx try take these next few months that you can comfortably still TTC with your wedding plans in mind as they come. It may happen for you next cycle and be the healthy pg you've been waiting for,xxx you obvs have no issues getting pg and a healthy bean will stick 😘😘🌈💙💞 xxxx sending hugs

Renna · 06/06/2020 20:24

@rainbowhope11 amazing you could feel the ovualtion pain xx I had pain this cycle but indent actually know if it was ovulation or not ..could have been trapped wind 😂🤷‍♀️ xx .dont worry too much about DTD . the cycle we got pg I only DTD the first day i got peak and the day after that was it xxx

2020wish · 06/06/2020 20:24

@MichT4 thank you. I just feel my time is running out :(
I’ve put too much pressure on myself and now I’ve realised I want this so much but will have to make the choice of stopping soon and restarting in over 2 years. We have our wedding booked for 2022 and I wanted to have a baby with good enough time to get back to myself and baby up a bit to enjoy the day with us as we have put so much effort into it. Our wedding was originally for 2021 but we pushed it back a year and were so lucky everyone was able to accommodate us without losing the money we spent. We pushed it back for this baby as we knew it was more important :( everyone is booking hens for me and dress days all for next year and in my heart I wanted to have my much wanted baby by then and On the road to weight loss and finding my perfect dress. I know I won’t be happy walking down the isle the weight I am now or post baby weight If it’s too close. With my daughter I put on 7 stone with pre clampisa so I’ve very much aware it’s possible again and as selfish as that sounds I wouldn’t be happy having photos and all that jazz. Flip why is ttc so hard. And why have I been pregnant three times and no baby :( and I feel waiting til after the wedding is just putting me more at risk of miscarriages as I will be in the 35 bracket and up... do I sound selfish?

@HopeForRainbowbaby ahh how annoying!! But on the bright side you caught ur peak and done the deed on time so don’t worry as you won’t ovulate til the next day minimum
