TTC after MC - June 2020

@SmileyT I think I’ll know by tomorrow if it’s ib - last cycle I had 4 days of spotting, but it had got heavier by now. The only thing I keep thinking though is that mc seems to much things up a bit for a while so I sort of feel like it’s AF - I have been super lightheaded today though - they joked about whether I had been drinking at work today as I couldn’t seem to walk straight. I had that last pregnancy, but it can happen before periods too I think?

@HE88 I was the same, didn’t really try first cycle after mc - my bbt was super high, then when I had my final scan 2 weeks after mc bleeding had stopped, they said I had a really thin uterus lining, so I think even if I had tried, the little bean would have been unable to settle itself in for the ride so to speak!

@SmileyT yup already ordered the cup :) and going to start temping again tomorrow. AF seems heavier this time more like it was before being pg, last 2 AFs since MC have seemed a lot lighter . So trying to take that as a positive 🤞 but overall feels like it's been a rubbish day for me 😓 xx hope you've had a good day and gonna start enjoying your SMEP plan xx

@Bellabubble ah I see it could just be your body readjusting to everything again, our bodies are confusing things I think.
I think you do count the 1st day of bleeding of a MC as cycle day 1 but I'm not 100% sure.
I didn't bother ttc that cycle so this will be my 3rd cycle of properly trying. Xx

@HE88 sorry about AF arriving.. Hope June is your month 🤞 I'm looking forward to seeing how many in this group will have a beautiful positive test in a few weeks time!

@he88 sorry - I meant to say I hadn’t had spotting before AF pre-mc..I’m in cycle 3 now (does when your mc start count as cycle 1?) but last AF started with 4 days of spotting - I’m on 3rd day now. It is a super tiny amount, but I just feel in my bones like it’s going to become AF :( xx

@Ejb86 no need to apologise at all. I can't imagine what you have been through with a late stage loss of twins . I'm so sorry. I have a feeling as I am normally so irregular with my cycles that it will take me a long time to regulate again too.. but we will get there 💗

@HE88 AF is due from today until Sunday across my 2 apps (I go between 27 and 29 day cycles) and am currently 12dpo. I have never had spotting before - it really is annoying! I was always straight in to full AF, it definitely makes it feel shorter!! xx

Hi! Here from the May thread as I’m spotting (again - this seems to be how my first AF started after mc, so I’m not feeling positive about this one!)

I just turned 36, ttc journey started in Jan this year. We were really lucky to conceive first time, but sadly had a mmc - was 9 weeks by dates but hadn’t progressed further than 5 :( this will be 4th cycle post mc

@1990EM welcome and sorry to hear what you have went through I was also 10 weeks when I had my mmc.
My 1st period came 5 weeks later, then I had a 28 day cycle then just there a 30 day cycle so I wouldn't say I've settled into a regular cycle but I was never regular before I fell pregnant. Sorry that's probably not much help.

@1990EM I lost my twins at 16 weeks in September. I'm still waiting for my cycles to normalise. Our bodies are all so different, we all react differently.

Hi ladies I have been following the May thread as I went through a miscarriage 2 weeks ago and I wanted to hear from those in the same boat. This is the first time I've commented though and though I don't have much hope for June I need all the support i can get 🙈 I am 29, ttc baby number 3 and my loss this month was my first miscarriage. I was nearly 10weeks. Was always something I dreaded and still can't believe it happened though I do feel grateful for 2 previous healthy pregnancies. I have PCOS and irregular cycles so it makes family planning all a bit more difficult.. hoping to use ovulation tests etc to know when I can start to hope for another pregnancy.

How long after miscarriage did it take your cycles to normalize?

Sorry in advance for the fact that I still have a lot to learn about all of the TTC acronyms! I might sound stupid sometimes!

That’s fab that your DH is so supportive, I’ve been looking at the fertility cups so might give that a go too. I’ve heard really good things about them. I’m so impatient so that really doesn’t help, I’ve been watching lots of videos on YouTube regarding hormone balance & boosting fertility naturally so I’ve ordered a shit load of vitamins 😂 xx
