I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

@Jazper & @Dipsy77 sorry AF got you! But at least now you can start again armed with allllllll the little things the girls have shared that they're doing.

@Hayleylou89 that is such a beautiful pic! Definitely does look like you've swallowed a ring 😂 soooo happy for you! You really do deserve this 💕 praying it's a smoooooooth & successful pregnancy & delivery!

@SmileyT I know it's crazy! My FW has moved up so much that it literally starts straight after AF, last cycle the app suggested the last day of AF was the first day of my FW! But yeah any symptom is very much welcomed right now - still nauseous & heartburn is still there

@VP91x thats great hun! Hopefully this is your month too! A lot of sideways dancing awaits you 😜😂

I’m officially a data geek 🤓

OPKs arrived and I tested this afternoon, it tells me it’s high, I was so excited and it’s not even a peak result. It’s going to be a crazy few days in this house if I get so excited about POAS. Here’s my result, so shall I just do twice a day until it’s darker?

@Jazper my cycles are usually 27 days this time it was 26 and I ov usually CD14 so the SMEP isn't too bad with it been a short cycle AF due 4th July if I have another 26 day cycle xx

elliew818 · 08/06/2020 18:07

Thanks @SmileyT @VP91x @1990EM my parents are kind of 'bull in a china shop' and I think it's a combination of a generation thing and never having experienced it either.
Just had a long reply to everyone individually and then DS came and swiped the screen...
Sorry to hear what you're going through @mrsssk we waited one cycle and midwives prefer you to wait for dating new pregnancies but there isn't any reason medically not to start trying (someone tell me if I'm wrong!) if you're both feeling ready emotionally.
Sorry about AF @Jazper and try to look after yourself, it doesn't get really get easier each month does it, how many month are you TTC? Sorry if you've already said, hard to keep track sometimes.
@Chickoletta all sound like good signs but I'm with you, I hate getting my hopes up.
@Hayleylou89 this TWW has felt soooo long, I'm 6 DPO and AF due 16th but first full cycle since MC so won't test until 19th - unless she rears her ugly head before then.
@2020wish yep I hear you! We're afternoon delighters when DS is napping, don't know how we'll keep it up when we both stop working from home!

VP91x · 08/06/2020 17:50

@SmileyT haha yeah, completely forgot to unsubscribe after my rage towards it. Yeah, I feel confident I will get that elusive static smiley.

Definitely stay positive! I'm a May baby it is a nice month to have a birthday actually xx

VP91x · 08/06/2020 17:41

@Wishingfornumber2 yeah I read it keeps your baseline and you can use it until the battery runs out on it - not sure when that is!

Welcome @mrsssk sorry you have had a loss recently, but pleased you're not having any more bleeding. Like the other girls have said I think general advicr is you can try after bleeding has stopped or negative test. Wishing you all the luck xx

SmileyT · 08/06/2020 17:39

@Hayleylou89 ahh how amazing ☺️ so glad everything is looking good although hubby had to stay in the car I'm sure it was still a magical day for you both xx

@VP91x yeah I'm actually not feeling negative but have some weird feeling I'll have an April or May baby but still working all angles to have it happen as soon as possible. Oh yeah OH asked me if I needed all the stuff he's ordered and subscribed to the other day 😂 I'm confident you will beat CB this month xx

Welcome @Dizzy201 and so sorry for your loss, hope you get your rainbow soon x

@elliew818 I'm so sorry that your parents reacted that way, I understand being shocked but bloody hell could've just said sorry 😐 I haven't told my parents I was pregnant or miscarried and I don't think I will because they wouldn't know how to react... sending you virtual hugs x

Welcome @mrsssk sorry for your loss but a good sign you caught first month trying, personally I didn't wait until first period to start but think it's a personal decision about what's right for you ❤️

Jazper · 08/06/2020 17:30

@Wishingfornumber2
Thank you. I actually didn't do bad with the cb for my first month trying, I just got impatient with the flashies. I think I ended up having 5 days of 'em before my static and I wanted it to throw it out of the window near the end 😂
But yes, definitely reuse your holder! I'm going to this month as, like @VP91x said, I've read it keeps a track of your levels which helps it to better detect an increase.

@WellHurrahAndHuzzah
Glad to hear you're ok. You seem quite chilled in your tww which is good for you. I intend to be more relaxed next month, but, don't we all? 🤷🏽‍♀️😂 Will he thinking of you. Keep us posted.

@Dipsy77
Thank you. Hope you are feeling ok about af. I was in bits last week seeing my negative test so I definitely don't intend to test early next time 🙈 I'm ok now though. I have come to terms with it.
Definitely cycle buddies. It's nice to know someone on the thread is around the same as me. I had a 31 day cycle just gone. Which isn't far off my regular 29 day cycle pre mc. I ov'd on day 17 so I expect (hope!) it to be similar.
How about you?

mrsssk · 08/06/2020 17:21

@Tink20058 that's so good to hear that you managed to get a BFP so soon. We will defo be trying again ASAP.
The last pregnancy was so wanted and even though it was so recent, I think the urge to try again will make things harder if we're not able to.

mrsssk · 08/06/2020 17:17

@HopeForRainbowbaby that's good to know as my bleeding has stopped for a few days now. All my symptoms have gone too so I wasn't sure why we needed to hang around. The EPU doctor advised to do a pregnancy test on 23rd June to check it's negative, wait for a normal cycle (or two) and then start trying.
That seemed like such a long wait and I had a natural miscarriage so I'm not sure what the advice was based on.

I've got some One Step OPKS from amazon so will start tracking my ovulation from today in that case. Thank you for your advice, so helpful! X

2020wish · 08/06/2020 17:13

@HopeForRainbowbaby can’t wait for testing day lol when are you going to test

peonyrose87 · 08/06/2020 17:01

@Hayleylou89 what a beautiful scan!! So happy for you

Chickoletta · 08/06/2020 16:50

@elliew818 - AF is not due until 17th so I’m going to try to hang on until the weekend if I can. Feeling better today - slept well and not nearly so tired but I’ve felt nauseous on and off and still very damp downstairs! Trying not to get my hopes up too much.

Tink20058 · 08/06/2020 16:45

@mrsssk hi welcome 👋 I personally got straight back into it after miscarriage and started tracking ovulation a week after bleeding stopped luckily it worked first cycle for us and got bfp hopefully that brings hope for people that it can happen good luck xxx

HopeForRainbowbaby · 08/06/2020 16:43

@mrsssk I'm sorry that you found yourself here ! But indeed the support is great here in this difficult time. The midwife told me to try directly once bleeding stops both times( so nothing on negative pregnant tests). I had two natural MC and I'm not sure if it makes a difference if you need medical help with MC.

Baby dust to you 😘

HopeForRainbowbaby · 08/06/2020 16:40

@2020wish I'm about to ovulate :) I am waiting for peak today or tomorrow ☺️

@Hayleylou89 congratulations dear 😘 baby looks great !

mrsssk · 08/06/2020 16:14

Hi ladies, hoping I can join this thread? I've been a weirdo lurking for the past week or so and just admiring the support everyone has been providing one another. It's honestly so heart warming.

Unfortunately I had a miscarriage with my 1st pregnancy in May. Started bleeding on 28th May at 6 weeks 5 days and the bleeding completely stopped a week later (4 June). My OH and I really want a baby and we were fortunate to get pregnant the first cycle of trying, now to pick ourselves up and start trying again. I feel mentally ready as well.

Is it advisable to wait for a normal period or has anyone just jumped straight back into it after a negative pregnancy test?
My cycles were pretty regular before pregnancy and I just want to get on with trying again.

Wishingfornumber2 · 08/06/2020 16:14

@Hayleylou89 ahh great to see a scan photo and that things are ok.
@Jazper Sorry AF got you but fingers crossed CB digital behaves this month! I’m using it again this month and got my 1st flashing smiley yesterday. I think I’m due to ovulate this weekend so hoping for static at end of the week.
@VP91x that’s interesting, I never thought to use the same holder. But as you said at least it knows the baseline.

WellHurrahAndHuzzah · 08/06/2020 15:45

Welcome to all newbies, I'm sorry for your losses.

@Jazper sorry AF came, but glad this means your cycles might be going back to normal? I'm due on Weds but have pretty irregular cycles so planning to only test if it hasn't arrived by the weekend. Naturally, I'm symptom spotting like crrrrrrrrazy Hmm

@Hayleylou89 what a great pic, congratulations!!

Dipsy77 · 08/06/2020 15:26

@Jazper sorry AF got you, how long are your cycles we can be cycle buddies this time xx

1990EM · 08/06/2020 14:56

@elliew818 aw no, that must have hurt, though I'm sure they just didn't know what else to say.. I have to remind myself that those in an older generation didn't use to talk about this kind of thing. It wasn't until I had a MC that i found out my mum had lost a baby when she was my age too.
It really doesn't help us to open up and talk about our losses though when we have to brace ourselves for people saying well meaning but hurtful things 😔 hope you're ok.

1990EM · 08/06/2020 14:52

@sunflower96 extra hard when it's your first and you think you've got to the "safe" stage. Sending a hug.

1990EM · 08/06/2020 14:49

@2020wish excellent! Glad you got a solid peak and a good early dtd in today! How exciting!

Hayleylou89 · 08/06/2020 14:49

Hope ur all doing well and either approaching or patiently waiting to test 🙏 @elliew818 when are u testing looks like its fast approaching for u? That was shocking what ur parents said 😔 but im sure they havnt meant it and just not known what to say to u! it such a touchy subject isnt it x x

1990EM · 08/06/2020 14:48

@Hayleylou89 aw what a beautiful sight 😍 must be a huge relief.
