I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

@HopeForRainbowbaby yeah first day of MC is CD1 - hoping it’s over soon!!

@2020wish I was taking vit D, folic acid and iron up until this cycle. I wasn’t taking anything when I got pregnant so will see what this month brings. So sorry to hear you’ve had 3 MCs this year alone - I’m praying hard for you! Speaking it into existence that your BFP this month will stick xxxxx

2020wish · 29/05/2020 15:37

Fingers crossed for a BFP tomorrow

Ejb86 · 29/05/2020 15:27

I'm on cd33 of my 6the cycle TTC. I miscarried my twin girls at 16 weeks in September, so I'm 8 months on from that now. I'm 9dpo and got BFN this morning but will be testing again tomorrow.

2020wish · 29/05/2020 15:12

@Niisa this will be cycle 6 but I’ve been pregnant 3 times within those 6 months and have mc before 7 weeks with all three. This month I’m Going to try the relaxed approach but still taking supplements. I might pre on an opk stick when I can feel ovulation just to make sure.

@HopeForRainbowbaby cycle day 1 is counted as the first day you start bleeding either from AF or MC. So I’ll be on day 5 from I started MCing on Monday.

We are around the same cycle days so can be good support :) I’m ttc #2

HopeForRainbowbaby · 29/05/2020 14:59

@Niisa in that case, I'm in the first cycle in miscarriage, cycle day 4 if first day of miscarriage is counted in. Ttc #1

HopeForRainbowbaby · 29/05/2020 14:56

@gwen7896 welcome! I don't think I will be able to resist testing. That's how I noted something is off with this pregnancy as the lines were not getting as dark as control line and one day just went lighter, followed by bleeding a few days later.

@2020wish I'm not sure from where to count. Is it the first month we ever tried or from last miscarriage ( currently )?

I'm taking folic acid with omega 3 and vitamins D. Also I am also drinking plum juice.

Niisa · 29/05/2020 14:53

@2020wish I’m CD9 of my 3rd cycle post MC. Not taking anything or testing with OPKs this month as I’m going to try a relaxed approach this month - just DTD as much as possible.

2020wish · 29/05/2020 14:47

@gwen7896 welcome :) I’m afraid to test early this cycle also as it also happened to me this cycle

@Hayleylou89 thank you :) hopefully all will be ok

What cycle is everyone on that’s still ttc. And what supplements are we all taking?
I’m CD5. Taking coq10, b6, folic acid, seven seas pre conception, calc fluor and grapefruit juice. Bought Angus castus but not sure whether to take it or not as I have no issues with my LP? I’ve read it’s usually for women with short LP phases? Anyone else
Taking it with normal phase length and can offer any advice. I’m going to start a strict diet this month to lose weight. I have been putting it off from dec but each month I’m losing so can’t see a point putting it off anymore and just going to go for it and if conception happens again I’ll lay off

Hayleylou89 · 29/05/2020 14:11

Thinking of u @2020wish hope ur ok and hope AF stops aoon for u so u can get on with ur cycle.

gwen7896 · 29/05/2020 13:49

Hello,

Hope you don't mind if I join you... I had a miscarriage at weeks back in December (great NYE!!) and a chemical back in February. I have PCOS so my cycles are very unpredictable. AF is due in the next couple of days but I'm too nervous to test as last time I had a BFP followed by AF 2 days later...

2020wish · 29/05/2020 13:25

It’s day 5, af for me is usually only 4 days , I was expecting it to be like af for some reason. Oh that’s hard having announcements like that. Ok so fed up with that’s early loses when I’m trying so hard but with my daughter I fell pregnant when I was on the pill and out drinking and partying every night 10 years ago lol

HopeForRainbowbaby · 29/05/2020 11:53

@2020wish how many days is your bleeding going on? My first miscarriage bleeding was 10 days so I expect this miscarriage bleeding to be shorter as i was only at 5 weeks pregnancy now. I feel for you! My relative announced pregnancy( twins) just two weeks after I lost first pregnancy. It was very tough...

Hoping for BFPs for two ladies who are testing this weekend 😘

elliew818 · 29/05/2020 11:37

@SmileyT I totally sympathise with you when DTD isn’t happening as regular as you need it to. We have had off months in the past and can feel really frustrating when you’re TTC. Especially for you taking all the supplements and doing all your tracking! If it helps, the last time we got pregnant we only did it twice that month.
@Renna sorry I can’t comment on surgery as I had medical management but I’m sure someone else can help out. It’s good you’re going docs to try and figure it out though.

elliew818 · 29/05/2020 11:32

Sorry to hear about the BFNs today @VP91x and @Ejb86...I don’t track ovulation so I don’t know how many DPO I was but with my last pregnancy I did a test 3 days before AF was due and had a BFN then got a very BFP 4 days later so you never know!

2020wish · 29/05/2020 11:15

Im good. Excited to get my blood results back on Monday and just want this bleeding to stop so I get back on the band wagan. Don’t know whether to temp this month or take the more relaxed approach. Bleeding has lasted longer than normal AF so that’s strange for a chemical

VP91x · 29/05/2020 11:01

Thank you @2020wish how is everything? Xx

VP91x · 29/05/2020 11:00

@Renna thank you xx

The only experience I have is when I still had retained tissue post ERPC. Lower abdomen was really tender and it was painful. Definitely get it checked out. I hope everything is okay xx

Renna · 29/05/2020 10:10

How are you today @2020wish hun? Xx

2020wish · 29/05/2020 10:09

@VP91x @Ejb86 you girls aren’t out of the game yet. Still very early days!

@1990EM I’m dreading anyone new around me announcing pregnancies. The hurt is real

Renna · 29/05/2020 10:08

Sorry BFNs this morning ladies but I still have fingers crossed for you , you're still not out xxx @VP91x @Ejb86 x

So I've just finished another weeks course of antibiotics, macrobid, for a possible UTI, nurse gave me last Friday and I was on a course of antibiotics last month for the same thing . I think the symptoms have gone but not 100% sure so ive called GP and I'm going in with urine sample to give them.

I told them I keep having a pain in my lower abdomen since the ERPC early March, its deffo associated with the surgery as it happened just after and only comes back now when I'm on AF or if I'm like bloated /exercise.

So they're also getting me to do a vaginal swab and book me in for an ultrasound x

I'm not too worried about it as the pain isnt really bad but it's been 3 months now and be good to just put my mind at ease if the pain is something to worry about or not 🤞 xx
Anyone else who had surgery notice anything like this ?
It's like a stitch/stabbing kind of pain and only happens during AF or exercise of bloating. Xx
During surgery I did loose 600ml of blood when the usual is apparently like 50ml so I'm thinking I may have like an internal cut or something.

Just kinda wanna make sure it's not like scar tissue that could be detrimental to TTC xx

VP91x · 29/05/2020 09:53

@1990EM ah that's so sweet, thank you ❤️
I'm sorry you've had a rough few days, I would have been devastated too. I hope you have treated yourself to something to make you feel good?xx

Ejb86 · 29/05/2020 09:50

@1990EM other people's pregnancies are difficult to handle aren't they?

Thanks for thinking of us...there's hope for us yet!

1990EM · 29/05/2020 09:16

@Ejb86 and @VP91x first thing I checked this morning was to see if you'd tested. Sorry no BFP yet but there's still time!! I'm still so hopeful for you. Haven't said much on here the last few days- had a rough time when friends announced a pregnancy with the EXACT same due date as our little one we lost this month. but following the thread daily and loving the updates. Happy Friday all and hope this weekend brings good news for those testing!!

VP91x · 29/05/2020 06:53

@Ejb86 I don't think it was unrealistic, you get hopeful once you start to get a bit back more to normal. I'm alright - flitting between being upset and trying to be hopeful. I think I will probably be there with you testing everyday! Xx

Ejb86 · 29/05/2020 06:20

@VP91x I'm feeling ok thanks. Tbh this is my first cycle post MC that has been of a more normal length. To expect to have been lucky enough to fall pregnant is probably a bit much. Having said that, I'll probably still test every day until AF shows her ugly face.

Are you ok?
