SmileyT · 21/05/2020 19:55

I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

Also tagged you all (I hope I didn't miss anyone!) xx

Dipsy77 · 09/06/2020 15:03

@elliew818 becodefence may help you too, you can take while breastfeeding, TTC and when pregnant x

Dizzy201 · 09/06/2020 15:02

@VP91x thanks very much aha

@elliew818 I can't remember my password my phone does it for me 🤣

I'm due period 20th ish so not sure whether to wait or test on 10DPO I'm very impatient so probably won't be able to wait but not expecting a positive on 1st month of properly trying and tracking

Dipsy77 · 09/06/2020 15:01

@MichT4 you can take becodefence I used it last year when I was pregnant it's completely safe, it's a nasal spray I still use it now it's really good xx

chloedancer897 · 09/06/2020 14:42

I’m due AF on 20th so I’m going to wait until then but the wait is killing me. It’s my birthday on Sunday and I’m not even looking forward to that. I just want it to be the 20th already!

VP91x · 09/06/2020 14:41

Ladies, I'll make a new thread for us and tag us all in because we are getting towards the end of this one. I'll post the link too xx

elliew818 · 09/06/2020 14:31

@VP91x I'm good, DH and I took the week off work so went down the seafront and DS absolutely loved it. How are you doing?
@Dizzy201 I had to download the app, really easy to reply because there aren't pages so no copying and pasting!
@MichT4 I may have a rubbish GP but when I was TTC in 2017 they basically said you can't take antihistamines- they advised having local honey and there is one specific nasal spray you can have. @WellHurrahAndHuzzah I get nosebleeds but they are pretty much self inflicted because I attack my itchy nose too much!
@ManchNic I get the disappointment, I'd love to be one of these people that is chilled about things and can shrug it off and say oh well not our month, but I'm definitely not. When AF comes I have a big cry, really hot bath and a glass of red. And also think coming on here and seeing people get their BFPs gives me hope too.
@HopeForRainbowbaby I'm testing 19th - think there are a few around this time so hoping for lots of BFPs for everybody. Also I've said 19th several times now to try and stop me testing early, I'm so impatient 🙄

2020wish · 09/06/2020 14:29

I’m gonna start testing on the 19th I think x

2020wish · 09/06/2020 14:23

Yay for ur peak. Stay positive.
This could be your month :) it’s normal to have off days x

HopeForRainbowbaby · 09/06/2020 14:07

@2020wish yes I have got my peak this morning. so I should ovulate tomorrow I guess ? I'm somehow not positive about this month. Maybe I just feel down, one of those days full of emotions:(

Ladies, When will you be testing ?

2020wish · 09/06/2020 13:11

So when is everyone testing again this month? Officially in the tww ! @HopeForRainbowbaby got ur peak yet

ManchNic · 09/06/2020 12:48

@MichT4 yesthe 2ww is definitely the worst. Actually I can cope with the first week, it's the second one that really gets me, trying not to symptom spot but constantly checking when I wipe and swinging wildly between hope and disappointment 😫😂

@WellHurrahAndHuzzah (it doesn't seem to want to tag you?) Yes, I've been quite strict with my diet so chocolate is definitely my treat!

WellHurrahAndHuzzah · 09/06/2020 12:06

@Jazper haha no I'm not really that chilled out in my TWW, to be honest, I'm symptom spotting like mad!! But I tend to step away from the thread a bit in the TWW otherwise I just get too tempted to test, and become really upset by BFN.

@elliew818 the nosebleeds!! I hear you. Can't be enjoying summer too much now can we Wink

@ManchNic I hope you're okay. Have you got something to look forward to if AF comes? A stiff G&T and a hot bath are my treats to cheer myself up.

MichT4 · 09/06/2020 11:16

@ManchNic @Jazper the TWW I find the worst too. There's not even OPKs or DTD to distract your mind.

This month, I plan to focus my mind elsewhere. I need to stop eating like a machine, so I think I'll set myself a steps/food intake goal, and stick with that. I've also added some more HIIT style training back into my programme, so that'll keep me busy - if I stop avoiding it. Ha!
I wanted to book a few days away for us, but even if places are open to stay, there'll be nothing to do so it'll just be thinking in a new location Hmm

MichT4 · 09/06/2020 11:13

@VP91x how lucky was that with your old job! Will be lovely to have a new start too, that will distract you come the end of June - though fingers crossed you won't need distracting by then.

I'm impatiently waiting to do my OPK but having not drunk in the last 2 hours, I'm not feeling any desire. Sigh! Haha

ManchNic · 09/06/2020 10:00

@Jazper thanks. Yeah it's just exhausting isn't it ❤

Jazper · 09/06/2020 09:53

@ManchNic, I'm so sorry to hear you're having a tough day. I had a couple last week and can totally sympathise.
Try to distract yourself if you can. I know it's hard. The tww is the hardest for me. Both emotionally and mentally. Xx

ManchNic · 09/06/2020 09:50

Thanks @VP91x. No I will try not to test as the disappointment I feel from a definite BFN is even worse than waiting for AF!

VP91x · 09/06/2020 09:43

@Dizzy201 if you just put the @ sign normally the tag list comes up so you can reply that way or I copy and paste my replies into a the box on a new page if lots of messages! 😊

@ManchNic ah, that is so frustrating sorry that you feel that AF is coming. Are you going to do a test to rule it out completely? Xx

ManchNic · 09/06/2020 09:38

Hey, I've been reading messages here and there but not posting much, trying to distract myself during the 2WW, but not succeeding.

I'm 11/12 DPO, due AF Thurs/Fri, and just know she's on her way. Feeling grumpy and irritable, and can feel the start of period aches. I feel so disappointed already. It's just so hard to keep doing this month after bloody month. I'm normally such a level person but I just feel like I'm not in charge of my emotions! Hate that I allow myself to get hopeful each time, just to be disappointed 😤😔

Thanks for the rant x

MichT4 · 09/06/2020 09:04

@elliew818 it’s been awful this year hasn’t it? Are you not meant to take tablets? I’ve had to as I’ve been getting nosebleeds (hasn’t happened with hay fever since I was a kid) but maybe I shouldn’t take anything? 🤔

I’m with you on seeing BFN. Took the wind out of my sails last month as I thought it was going to be positive and AF arrived later that day. Wish I’d just waited for it to arrive. That said @MissyBate, 12 DPO should be enough for an early detector. Although some say implantation can be 14DPO so still could give a wrong result.
So hard waiting though

Dizzy201 · 09/06/2020 09:03

Thank you all for welcoming me to the group, can I just ask how you reply to all the comments in one message? Sorry really am new to these things lol, good luck everyone and sorry to hear about some of the things people are having to cope with from comments to losses and the waiting!!

HopeForRainbowbaby · 09/06/2020 08:59

@2020wish I will probably test 20 June. And you ?

peonyrose87 · 09/06/2020 08:51

@VP91x glad you got your flashing smiley!!

VP91x · 09/06/2020 08:47

@elliew818 thank you 😊 how are you feeling today x
