Welcome to the 🐧 huddle. This a safe place to give and receive support for everyone who has experienced the loss(es) of a pregnancy or baby. Pregnancy and child loss is one of the most difficult things we can experience and it can also be the most lonely time too. I hope you find this thread to be of some comfort.

I have found so much comfort from the lovely ladies on this thread and I’m hoping for lots of BFPs in coming months!

Kiki275 · 25/09/2020 14:14

@Marshmallow123 I'm sorry you find yourself here. Take everything one day at a time, you'll know when you're ready to face the emotional rollercoaster that is TTC. We're all here to rant at if you need to in the meantime xx

Mumlili9 · 25/09/2020 13:54

Hi ladies just jumping on to say hello

@venusstarr im sorry you had awful treatment by the epu.

I've nothing to report. Just dragging my feet along waiting for something to happen. My hysteroscopy is cancelled so who knows what going to happen now .

Hope your all as well as you can be.

Marshmallow123 · 25/09/2020 11:24

Hi all.

Hoping I can join this thread.

Went for a scan last week and they thought something was wrong. Went back this Wednesday (8w2d) and they confirmed MMC as no growth since 6w3d and no heartbeat.

I just feel kind of lost if I'm honest.

This was our first pregnancy as we're both in early 30s.

Was given the cytotec to bring on the bleeding and now am waiting to see my Dr again in Monday.

We want to try again but we're worried about when is best.

Sorry for the long post ... as I said, I feel a bit lost.

LoveEatYoga · 25/09/2020 10:53

NC here

I hope everyone is okay as can be 💗

@Kiki275 I'm sorry you are struggling too. I'm on the 2WW but have zero hope now. I need something good to happen.

@Mumlili9 I absolutely get that dtd becomes a chore but at the time I don't care as long as we do it Grin Then again, I'm also thinking what's the point and assuming it won't happen. I still have a lot of anger and resentment that I lost my baby and then had the MC and a year on nothing has happened for us so I'm trying not to even think about it.

@VenusStarr I'm sorry you've been treated that way and that life is so unfair.

I'm feeling good generally but have almost given up on TTC (though realise that might be a tad dramatic) so I apologise if I am not around as much.

Kiki275 · 24/09/2020 18:27

@badacorn I'm sorry to hear of your losses but will keep everything crossed for you with this little one. I totally understand the dismissive thing, it's like they're thinking "have you not got over it yet?" x

badacorn · 24/09/2020 08:15

I think I am in the right place. I have had two miscarriages before (one which took weeks to get past as the treatment didn’t work straight away and I got an infection Sad), we are in our 30s TTC for our first. We were gutted when I had the miscarriages.

I got a strong BFP yesterday on day 28 of the cycle. I had one day of bleeding before that which I know could be “implantation bleeding” but I consider it a bad sign. We are not torturing ourselves by going baby crazy this time! I probably should have waited longer before testing.

It is going to be an anxious time waiting to see if this is going to be a successful pregnancy or not.

Anyway good luck to everyone and if you are going through a loss you have my sympathy. It is hard because nobody talks about it and some people can be so dismissive, (even professionals!)

Kiki275 · 23/09/2020 22:10

Oh @VenusStarr that's shocking treatment! Are there any alternative hospitals near you? I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through but glad Tommy's stepped in for you. Not sure what to say other than always here to listen and provide huge virtual hugs/handholds/wine xxx

VenusStarr · 23/09/2020 20:59

Hi everyone. Sorry to hear things are tough for you all right now @BunnyLovesBananas @Mumlili9 @Kiki275

Heartbroken that this pregnancy is a confirmed missed miscarriage 💔 the epu were awful today. Despite this being my 4th loss, they've offered no care - just wanted me out of there. Still technically pregnant but no plan for management. Luckily I called Tommy's in tears and they're seeing me tomorrow morning for another scan and to discuss options. I think I'm leaning to an mva so they can make sure they get the baby for testing. Feel exhausted and very sad. Just can't believe this is happening 😢

Mumlili9 · 22/09/2020 18:40

@Kiki275 @BunnyLovesBananas you are not alone in this fall out with your other half thing. I too have been doing this for almost 3 years and even this month we fell out the night before we went on hols because my stupid peri menopausal body decided that ovulation would be cd9 this cycle which ment I ovulated the day we traveled 🙄 because that lead to a huge argument. After explaining through gritted teeth that its not like I can just delay it until its more convenient he said ' fine then let's just get on with it then ' not at all how you want things to go, and it really was the most uncomfortable dtd ever and most definitely no cuddling after he just got up and walked off muttering about needing to check the oil and tyre pressures on the car. Its most definitely a chore these days. Its a shame but it seems to be the nature of multiple miscarriage and ttc for many of us.

Kiki275 · 22/09/2020 17:58

@BunnyLovesBananas I'm the same and practically divorcing every month now. It's really bad that I'm more upset at missing my fertile window than loosing DH 🙊

Hope everyone is okay, this extended lockdown is really affecting most people. I'm really beginning to struggle xx

BunnyLovesBananas · 18/09/2020 07:47

Hi all

All ok thanks. A bit fed up with the TTC so sorry if I'm a bit quiet here. I find it hard to be around even early pregnancy chat and I just listened to my favourite podcast at 7:30 in the morning and my favourite podcast host is talking about how she was pregnant and I thought "great" and then she said she has had a miscarriage. She heard a heartbeat and then the next time there was no heartbeat.

I've said it's 18 months since I had my DD and a year since my miscarriage and I just feel fed up. We barely tried this month as DH and I have been a little at odds.

Otherwise I feel fine. Work is good but busy and it does seem like arguments with DH coincide with me being hormonal (which now seems to peak before ovulation) but he definitely doesn't handle it well and almost seems to wind me up!

I hope everyone is ok 💗

Esssa · 16/09/2020 23:38

Oh @VenusStarr I'm so sorry. It's devastating even when you've braced yourself for it. Hope you get the gp to listen and you get answers from someone soon.

Pleased you are settling in to the new job @Mumlili9

Mumlili9 · 16/09/2020 20:38

@Semele5069 very exciting let us know how you get on xx

Semele5069 · 16/09/2020 08:12

Hi @Mumlili9 thanks for checking in! I'm doing ok thanks. 6+2 at a conservative estimate, possibly 6+4 depending on when I consider my period started.

I've been so sick for the past week, which didn't happen in my pregnancy that got to this point before, so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

I have an early scan booked for Thursday- I would have preferred to wait for the following week but am too busy in work and don't think I can hold out for the week after that! Very anxious generally.

I hope you're all doing well. I am continuing to follow this thread!

Mumlili9 · 15/09/2020 23:30

Hi everyone. So I know I said I wasn't going to try for a few months well it turns out that I'm going to ovulate on or around my birthday this week so I'm saying stuff it im trying cant miss a birthday bounce now can I.

@Kiki275 fingers crossed this is your cycle
@BunnyLovesBananas @Semele5069 how are you ?

Kiki275 · 15/09/2020 21:36

Hi everyone,
think I'm on the TWW, not so clear when I ovulated this week so kinda guessing. Anyhows, hope you're all okay x

Kiki275 · 13/09/2020 09:12

@VenusStarr just checking in to say I'm thinking of you. Hope you're holding up okay xx

Mumlili9 · 13/09/2020 03:42

@VenusStarr im so sorry yo hear this sad news xx please know were all here for you when your ready. Feel free to pm me if you want to x

Kiki275 · 11/09/2020 17:52

@VenusStarr I don't know what to say, other than so I'm sorry to hear this. Huge hugs xx

VenusStarr · 11/09/2020 13:10

Thank you everyone. Sadly it's not good news 💔 baby is measuring 5mm with no heartbeat. The sonographer got a second opinion and they both said they can't call it yet due to the size but that there is no hope for this little one. They're saying I'm only measuring 5 weeks, but they said that on my 2 pregnancies last year and they only measured 1.9 and 2.1mm - not sure I understand that.
So I'm just waiting to miscarry. I need to get this little one tested ❤️

Mumlili9 · 11/09/2020 10:32

@venusstarr ❤ thinking of you x

Kiki275 · 11/09/2020 07:44
