Baby Names - let's stay positive

Hi all,

AF showed for me today so I'm trying to remain positive let's do something a bit different! Choose your top 5 baby first names for a girl and top 5 for a boy to give people inspiration! (Put them in order of favourite)

Girls - my top 5 are:

Scarlet
Paige
Myla (Pronounced me-la)
Esmé
Poppy

Boys - my top 5 are:

Logan
Archie
Olly
Hunter
Chase (undecided on this actually) haha

Thank you @superstar41 it's my mum's name, but she calls herself Rose to stop folk calling her Ros.

Actually everyone need to ask a question. I have always loved the name Logan but our friends are pregnant and want to call their baby Lowin- is it too similar ? Am I ok to still use Logan ?

This is a nice thread! I won't be TTC again until potentially the end of the year but I love looking at names.

I already have two beautiful little girls called Violet and Cassie. 💕 Can't think of any other girls names at the moment!

My OH's been watching this new basketball documentary on Netflix and will now only consider 'Michael' or 'Jordan' as potential baby names hahaha He has also gone so far as to say that Jordan works for a girl too 😂

My partner is Icelandic so Atli and Emil are Icelandic names. Thor is also a traditional Icelandic name and he loves it but I told him people will just connect it with the movie. However, I like Thora and it’s the female version of Thor.

@buckingmad I know I'm going to have to convince him ;) James is a lovely name !! Haha James Jr doesn't sound too bad ;)

@BabyDust13 he wants to call a baby boy Thor I had to put my foot down 🤣 Loki isn't too bad tho not a fan of the character ;)
