Setting up this new thread for all the lovely ladies who have been on the ttc after miscarriage journey. And also all the ladies who have had their bfps but still want to stay in touch:)

Will post this in the existing chat :D

@Nuggetlover27 that's my worry too! Trying to stay zen about it all I just really thought the last few months were a one off blip and it'd go back to normal now.

@Annny27 you're right and that's what I'll keep reminding myself! I can also relate to not having any boobs 😂 I'm a size 10 but have nothing on my top half at all! That's one perk I'm hoping for from pregnancy - bigger boobs!

How was your appointment today?

Annny27 · 29/07/2020 11:01

@Nuggetlover27 Cross posts! Thank you! I am excited just to get the ball rolling! Haha well now I am a more comfortable size 8! I have always been pretty tiny think its genetic really. I am always jealous of curvier girls - boobs hips and a bum are all a distant dream to me 🤣

@ELM7 yeah I think opks are good but also I stress about making sure my urine is diluted enough for them and stuff like that haha

@fizzl awwh its frustrating :( yeah I would also just keep on trying..the point to remember is that the uterus lining doesn't start thickening untill after the egg is released so nothing will be old or bad for your baby :)

Hey ladies,

Sorry AF arrived @ELM7 😔 try not to dwell on it and try and move positively into your next cycle. I know it's easier said than done. We all know how you feel, it's taking longer than any of us expected 💕

@Annny27 good luck at your appointment today, hope it all goes well!
Also I must say I'm so jealous of you being a size 6, I've never been anywhere near that! I've always been a "curvier girl" 😳 haha

@Fizzl I really hope you get your ov soon! Sounds so frustrating. Try not to worry if you can or it may delay it further 💕

Fizzl · 29/07/2020 10:18

Morning everyone CD22 here and nada, nothing! I'm trying to not let it get to me but I just don't understand what's wrong with my body! It's never done this to me before so why now?! 😫 we've decided that we're just going to keep trying this month even if I don't ovulate until really late again. I'd rather not as I know I'm going to worry that the late ovulation is a bad sign and inevitably it won't end well but I also can't keep putting everything on hold in the hope my body sorts itself out 😑 I'm worrying now that there is something else going off. When I went for acupuncture yesterday she did say she didn't expect my cycle to go straight back to normal after almost 3 months without a period but I can't help feeling a bit disheartened with it all.

Hope your appointment goes well today @Annny27 - let us know how you get on.

Sorry AF arrived @ELM7 💐

ELM7 · 29/07/2020 09:43

@Annny27 hope the consultation goes well. Let us know what they say.

I’m the same with OPKs in thinking I might not bother this cycle but sure when it comes to it the POAS addiction will take over.

Annny27 · 29/07/2020 09:22

Morning :D have had some EWCM since yesterday so probably will ovulate within a week:D

Haven't decided if I will use opks....might do one each morning or something just to see if I am peaking when I think. But not gonna do them multiple times per day.

We have our initial fertility consultation today so apprehensive as to what they will say but will be good to get the ball rolling!

Ah I’m sorry AF arrived @ELM7, hope you’re ok. it’s so rubbish that it’s taking so long for lots of us 😣 Just got to try and stay positive xx

SunnySideUp2020 · 28/07/2020 16:27

Sorry AF got you @ elm7 😔
Sounds like a long time to be ttc... hope you'll get your bfp soon x

@Annny27 thanks lovely x

Annny27 · 28/07/2020 14:29

Afternoon girls:) cd10 for me!

@ELM7 so sorry that AF has arrived :( its heartbreaking isn't it :( its been 14 months for us in total and our 8th cycle since our miscarriage. I hope it isn't too much longer for us 🤞🤞🤞

@SunnySideUp2020 good luck on the pregnancy thread. I will be watching like i do with the others and pray for a healthy pregnancy for you 🥰🥰🥰

@fizzl I know its crazy that we have been here for so long! But our babies will be all the more longed for 💗💗💗💗

@nuggetlover27 yes I think its best to wait and not early test- for me anyway I prefer to wait

@scrumdiddly123 not too much longer for you then!! Haha I was tiny when I gor married, like probably a size 6 if not smaller! I think wedding stress made me very skinny haha 🤣

Morning Ladies. Hope you are all doing ok.

@SunnySideUp2020 has your amazing weekend sunk in yet?

So AF arrived bang on schedule this morning. Knew it was coming so not to upset but just depressed at how long TTC us taking. Came off the pill 20mths ago and have in total been TTC for 17mths it’s just all consuming.

Can’t change it and just have to believe it will happen when the time is right (just wish I knew when that would be) Oh well on to cycle 9!

Nuggetlover27 · 28/07/2020 09:19

@scrumdiddly123 my highest reading was 0.5 in the end on CD24 so I think that's when ov was as it's been constantly low since and now back at 0 (currently on CD32/ 8DPO if that was the case)
I've had quite a few symptoms this weekend just gone but trying not to get my hopes up.
Also I won't be testing early either. I tend to wait until I'm late as I know if I found out early I would just worry for longer haha

Sorry @Fizzl I forgot to answer you RE temping. I do when I remember but half the time I wake up and reach for my tea (DH kindly makes me tea in bed every morning when he leaves for work) and then it's too late to temp haha

scrumdiddly123 · 27/07/2020 23:04

Ah happy anniversary for Friday @Ejb86! It was our 7th wedding anniversary last week, can’t believe it’s been that long! I wish I could wear my dress again though I was a size 8 when I got married and definitely am not now 😂
@SunnySideUp2020 your tests looks brill 😀 try not to stress though I know how hard that is.
@Annny27 I’m 6dpo (I think as ran out of opks) but temp rise is consistent with when I think I ov’d. So nothing going on yet, just starting to notice the usual progesterone symptoms- headache, vivid dreams etc
Feeling quite chilled this month and definitely not testing early! How are you?
@Nuggetlover27 did you get a peak in the end?

Nuggetlover27 · 27/07/2020 22:28

@SunnySideUp2020 I'm so happy for you that you got your BFP! You're not alone in the worrying, as much as I want a BFP I'm so scared for when it happens. Try and stay positive 💕

We done a list of the people we wanted at the wedding and looked for venues from there. We knew we wanted to get married on our anniversary of when we started dating so we had a weekday wedding and also made the invites and centre pieces and lots of bits ourself (with help from family and friends) which also saved money

@Ejb86 it looks like a beautiful day that you had 🥰

SunnySideUp2020 · 27/07/2020 17:14

weekday **

SunnySideUp2020 · 27/07/2020 17:13

@Ejb86 it was a lovely wedding from the pics :)
Happy anniversaryFlowers

I don't think we will be able to do weekend pretty muche everyone works and family is scattered around the world so will need traveling days on top of wedding day 🙄

SunnySideUp2020 · 27/07/2020 17:10

Thank you all for sharing your wedding planning!
We actually thought to do it this october but now realised it won't happen as it is too soon :/
So we might just do registrar in September and the actual wedding when we are settled jn switzerland 🇨🇭 have jobs and know what's going on job wise or baby wise!

I finally joined the pregnancy thread 😬

It's weird because before the bfp it seemed so impossible to achieve - i know that 7 months isn't that long- but given DP sperm and everything we really were waiting for an insemination in October to get a real chance. And now that we got our bfp i feel like having a baby is such a lonnnnnng way from now! But we are ready 💪

I wouldn't have been able to go through it all without this group that's for sure. Things would have been much much harder.
So thank you for all this. Especially @Annny27 💕💕💕

I don't know what will happen for me, if this will be a successful pregnancy or if i will find myself back on ttc at some point but either way i cannot wait for ALL of us to be in that pregnancy thread together. 🤗🤗🤗

Obviously will still be checking and having everything crossed for all of you 🙏❤

@Fizzl just hoping this uterus of yours hasn't confused itself again 😐

Ah also forgot to add what's been different this month: pretty much everything.
We were on holiday, all relaxed and back to wanting to dtd all the time (horny like teenagers), but we made sure to dtd only every other day and had a 3 days forced break just before fertile week, then in fertile week we had it twice in a row at beginning and twice in a row at the end, i literally ate everything i wanted and all the good desserts and cakes most days without thinking about weight gain (not overweight but on the border these days 😅) and haven't done a single physical exercise... laziest month, and as i said we stopped using preseed.
Don't know if anyone cares but i really wanted to know after someone's bfp so sharing 😁

💛💛💛💛💛💛

Ejb86 · 27/07/2020 16:11

I've reported mine, changed my mind about having my pic up, added a less outing one.

So yeah, 6th anniversary Friday. Desperately craving a really good burger with mac and cheese on the side, so that's our anniversary meal planned!

Ejb86 · 27/07/2020 15:50

@SunnySideUp2020 we also saved loads of money by having ours on a weekday, rather than weekend. We figured that those who felt it important enough would take the time off. We gave them plenty of notice with a save the date. I did a lot of the stationery and decor myself too.

Fizzl · 27/07/2020 15:48

Actually I don't think you can message a photo 🤯 if anyone knows how let me know

Fizzl · 27/07/2020 15:38

Ahh happy anniversary for Friday @Ejb86!

I'll DM you a picture from mine (and anyone else who wants to see) - darent post it on here as it's too outing 😂

@SunnySideUp2020 I agree with anny. Step away from google (which is so much easier than said). I've worked myself up into numerous unnecessary tizz's and wasted so much time worrying on things I didn't need to. It's true what people say about google, you go looking for reassurances but actually search for your fears which then confirms them. It's not healthy for us and it feeds our anxiety and worry. Try and step away from it and enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can 😊

With our wedding I just found the perfect venue by pure coincidence around the corner from where we live! We weren't actually looking for a venue at that point as we'd decided we weren't in a rush to get married. It was a brand new venue being converted and it was pretty much derelict when we first saw it but we knew it would be amazing from the plans and other venues the company had so took a gamble. We knew we didn't want a huge wedding so didn't have to worry about numbers as the venue could accommodate more than enough for what we wanted. We booked the venue first and then sorted everything from there. Similar to anny we did it all in just over a year from booking the venue.

I also didn't do an announcement on social media as I'm not really one for posting on Facebook and it turned out pretty much everyone (but me) already knew that my husband was going to propose as he'd told them 😂 how it was all kept a secret I'll never know. I just messaged all my friends a picture of the ring.

Oh and my opk's.... negative! But let's not talk about that I'm trying to forget all about it for now 😂 more wedding chat! I loved planning my wedding.

Annny27 · 27/07/2020 14:13

@SunnySideUp2020 I would step away from Google and look towards getting a scan at 6 weeks thats only 2.5 weeks away and it will put your mind at ease. The positive tests are no concern as plenty of people have dark tests at 13dpo! @Leok83 were dark at 10dpo! So its just a good sign of strong hcg :D

We got engaged on holiday and so called in to my in laws on the way back from airport and then called all close friends and family. And think we put it on social media a few says later. But it was back in 2016 so social media announcements were more common haha!

And in terms of wedding - we had a think and made a quick draft guest list and then looked at venues and dates from there. Didn't see who was free (apart from super close family) and then just sent out sabe the dates pretty soon after we booked it which was about 10 months before the wedding. We got engaged, planned and married within almost exactly a year

@Fizzl how are the opks?
