Setting up this new thread for all the lovely ladies who have been on the ttc after miscarriage journey. And also all the ladies who have had their bfps but still want to stay in touch:)

Will post this in the existing chat :D

I am so shocked with how positive I feel this month. Maybe its because we had a little UK holiday so I feel refreshed and not depressed about coronavirus haha!

@scrumdiddly123 did you do another test this morning or are you waiting a little bit?

@fizzl i have never heard anything about over rippened eggs causing issues. People with PCOS ovulate really randomly and can still get pregnant! I personally wouldn't wait another cycle especially if its projected to be a long one! But your call entirely ofcourse!

@nuggetlover27 we all go through times of negativity! I was definitley themost negative person ever in months 6-7! I think its just the lows and highs (e.g. the slightly less lows :p) of ttc haha!

@leok83 what keeps me motivated is that i can go from ttc to bfp in a matter of seconds so it gives me hope! Whens your scan?

@ejb86 thanks lovely! Csnt wait :D

Its BLOODY boiling in the south today - 32 degrees is the predicted temp 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🌡🌡🌡🌡 can't wait to DTD later 🤣🤣🤣🤣

@scrumdiddly123 massive congrats 🎉🎉!! There's definitely no denying that's a positive!

@Annny27 @Fizzl @Nuggetlover27 @ELM7 I'm still checking in daily to see how you all are and looking forward to the day (and it will happen) you all join the graduate thread! I did think to myself just before the BFP that it's going to be pretty lonely when everyone has left, but I definitely haven't left the thread..just quiet on it! xx

@Annny27 im glad to see your referral went well and you got some progesterone prescribed!

@Fizzl your body is really giving you the run around😕, hopefully cutting the exercise a bit helps. If you are very fit it can definitely delay things so worth a try!

@Nuggetlover27 hopefully that spotting is implantation and not AF on the way!

Ejb86 · 31/07/2020 08:45

I'm so pleased for you @scrumdiddly123!

It surely can't be long before the rest of you get your BFPs. You ladies are amazingly strong and deserve every happiness. You guys kept me sane for all those months of trying and it is very much appreciated.

Nuggetlover27 · 31/07/2020 08:09

Congrats @scrumdiddly123 !

So many BFPs this last month! Shows that there is hope

@Annny27 I will also join the 🦕 pact ! That photo 😂 so true! thats the thing that everyone tells you when you're younger , but no! So not true lol
Don't know when it's gonna be our turn :/.
Before bed last night I went a wee and when I wiped there was a small amount of blood on the tissue. I don't know if that means AF is on her way, but also keep trying to convince myself I have sore boobs etc. It's a constant mental battle.

@Fizzl I agree, happy for everyone else but jealous we are still here so long after MC 😔
Cutting exercise may be a good idea. Last month when my cycle was delayed the only thing I can think was different was that me and DH had started doing regular bike rides

Does anyone else love reading and getting lost in a good book? I'm reading a book at the moment that I'm really enjoying, getting lost in a world that's not the real one. It's helping using it as a distraction to try not to get upset over the constant TTC battle. I'm sick of all the tears.

Sorry for the quite negative post this morning ladies. I hope you're all doing well?

Fizzl · 30/07/2020 22:32

@Annny27 I'll join that pact with you! 🦖

I also get the if you don't laugh you'll cry! I've definitely reached that point. It's almost like I've gone past caring (that's a lie, I haven't but it's just not bothering me as much and I'm trying to see the humour).

Haha love a good fertility meme! It's definitely true - although I know it was unlikely think I always secretly hoped/thought that it would just happen again as soon as we starting trying 🙄

Nope no ewcm, not even an inclination of a sign that I'm about to ovulate. And of course I've googled late ovulation and miscarriage and now thinking we maybe need to write this month off too! I've stopped worrying about an old lining and now worried my eggs are overcooked 😂 arghh 🤯

Annny27 · 30/07/2020 22:08

As the last ones left I'm making a pact to stay around even if I get my bfp :D us dinosaurs gotta look out for eachother haha 🦖🦕 (honestly if I didn't laugh I would cry so I'm all for the humour at the moment haha)

Got to show you this photo which made me laugh as well

@fizzl it is worth a short, i know that sometimes extensive exercise can stop periods so it night be a contributing factor! Hopefully you ovulate soon. Have you had any ewcm or anything or is it nothing so far?

Ah the BFP have been coming thick and fast these past two weeks! That's definitely a positive @scrumdiddly123! Congratulations!!

@Annny27 what a depressing thought for us 😅 it's really sad to think there's soon going to be nobody left to keep the support going! It's obviously great that everyone else has their BFP and I'm so pleased as everyone deserves this opportunity but it's getting very lonely on here now and is a sad reminder for us ☹️. I just have this gut feeling I'm in this for the long haul 😑

Glad your appointment went well tho! It's really positive they have given you progesterone as a bit of a back up! Hopefully it will help 🤞

I've decided I'm cutting back on my exercise. I genuinely don't think my lack of ovulation is because of exercising as I've always done this but I have started to do a few more hiit workouts in the lead up to ovulation and now wondering if it's linked?! I think I'm clutching at straws tho looking for an explanation ☹️

@scrumdiddly123 that’s not faint. No doubting it’s a BFP so huge congratulations!

scrumdiddly123 · 30/07/2020 20:44

It’s faint but there! And much pinker than the picture shows 🥳🥳 can’t believe it! Just got to hope this one stays put 🙏🤞🏻

scrumdiddly123 · 30/07/2020 20:43

Finally got home and done my FRER, it’s been torture waiting all evening!

MilsCookie · 30/07/2020 17:49

Oh wow @scrumdiddly123 that definitely looks like a faint positive! How exciting! Looking forward to your FRER update and keeping fingers crossed for you!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

scrumdiddly123 · 30/07/2020 17:39

@Leok83 the frers have only just arrived and we’re out at a bbq now so will have to wait til we get home! Hopefully I’ll be able to do a 2- hour hold 😬🤞🏻

Leok83 · 30/07/2020 15:34

Oh wow congrats @scrumdiddly123 that's looking really good!! When are you doing the FRER? It's so hard not to test early! But looking at that line on that test you should get a pretty decent on on a FRER!!

scrumdiddly123 · 30/07/2020 10:07

Thanks @Nuggetlover27 and yes it is my engagement ring! I love it though it’s looking a bit tatty now!

Nuggetlover27 · 30/07/2020 09:55

@Annny27 sounds really positive from your appointment yesterday. Now you just have to do the impossible and be patient haha

Wow @scrumdiddly123 it does look like this may be your month! 🤞🏻 also your engagement ring (assuming it is that) is nearly the same as mine!

scrumdiddly123 · 30/07/2020 09:05

Ah thanks @Annny27 I really hope so. It’s a wondfo test which is all I have leftover from last month and I got an evap then so feeling a bit nervous! And also annoyed at myself for testing so early 🙈 I do it every time!
Yes only 9dpo or possibly 10 but definitely no more than that which is mad!

Annny27 · 30/07/2020 08:55

@scrumdiddly123 ^^ forgot to tag

Annny27 · 30/07/2020 08:55

Omg that is deffo a positive!! And at 9dpo? Crazy 🥳🥳🥳

OP posts:
scrumdiddly123 · 30/07/2020 08:41

@Annny27 yes have just tested again and the line is a bit darker and definitely pink. Hard to pick up with the camera though but I’ll post a pic anyway. And hopefully FRER will give a clearer answer later!

Annny27 · 30/07/2020 08:37

Have you taken another test this morning or waiting for the frers @scrumdiddly123 🤞🤞

Yes he basically said there's a slight chance it may improve outcomes and can't hurt to take it!

OP posts:
scrumdiddly123 · 29/07/2020 21:57

Evening,
@Annny27 that sounds really positive, great to have the progesterone just in case! That’s what I’m hoping they’ll prescribe me when I get seen at the recurrent miscarriage clinic 🤞🏻
@Fizzl really hope ov is just round the corner for you and not going to be awol again!
I’m 8dpo and have stupidly just tested as had a bit of a hot flush/dizzy spell earlier and think I can see a line. But it’s crazy early so don’t want to read too much into it. Have ordered some FRERs to come tomorrow 🤞🏻

Annny27 · 29/07/2020 21:32

@Fizzl yes my pregnancy boobs were actual boobs and it was delightful!!

My appointment was reassuring he basically said that from my last ultrasounds (after mc) , my thyroid tests and the fact that we got pregnant that he doesn't think tjere is anything to worry about. I mentioned about the spottinf and sometimes variable LP and he said not to worry but he has prescribed my progesterong suppositories to take from ovulation to period and then for the first month or so if i do get pregnant. So thats puts me at ease a little! But he said he is reluctant to do any more tests as he thinks its just a test of time (which I know he is right haha) its just unfair that it takes some so long and others fall easily i guess!
