@Annny27 honestly just dtd however you feel like doing! Our doc told us to do every other day to help with quality of sperm but then some other doctor said the more the better 😁

@scrumdiddly123 that's a good progression, mine looked like this too! Until i did the clearblue blue dye and freaked out because the line was lighter! But i also did blood on the side and had 185% increase in 48 hours so far more than double- the clearblue were just misleading. Basically don't rely on line colours!!!!

scrumdiddly123 · 01/08/2020 20:31

Ah thank you @ChampooPapi 🙂💕 fingers crossed its a sticky one for me! how are you getting on?

ChampooPapi · 01/08/2020 20:14

@scrumdiddly123 oh my god congratulations! I only just saw that you've got your positive, that is such wonderful news to see 💜

scrumdiddly123 · 01/08/2020 18:48

Ooh @Annny27 how great getting your peak cd14, don’t think that’s ever happened to me 😂 always ov later! and you deserve a medal DTD in yesterday’s heat! Fingers crossed this is your month!
I’ve just done my second FRER, couldn’t wait til Monday but it’s been 48 hours. Would you say this progression is ok? I know it doesn’t really mean anything but hard not to obsess over it! They are 9 and 11dpo x

Ah @Nuggetlover27 I’m sorry AF arrived 😔 So rubbish and disheartening xx

Annny27 · 01/08/2020 10:55

Got my peak opk this morning 🙌🙌 so probs ovulate tomorrow on cd15 I imagine!

@fizzl glad you have decided to keep on trying:D I wish i could email Google and ask them not to let us search anything containing the words "dpo, bfp, progesterone, luteal phase, ovulation, implantation bleed" haha! Our own worst enemies. Sometimes when women are like "yeah i was 15 weeks pregnant before we even thought to test haha" I am just amazed at how some people can be so chilled....very jealous!

@nuggetlover27 so sorry lovely 💗💗 this is my 8th cycle after miscarriage and 14th month in total so we are in this together ❤ 😢

Nuggetlover27 · 01/08/2020 09:34

Unfortunately AF is here this morning girls 😔 I'm out for another month.
On to cycle 8 since MC and month 13 since we started trying 😭

Fizzl · 31/07/2020 22:13

Wow busy thread today. I'll work my way up.

@Nuggetlover27 I'm not a reader I'm afraid! I really struggle to get into books - I'm too easily distracted! The only time I get into a book is when I'm on holiday and can properly switch off. But whatever works as a good distraction you should definitely use! How are you today? Did AF show?

@Leok83 it definitely is giving me the run around! I don't think I'd go as far as very fit 😂 I'm certainly no athlete so I don't think I can use that excuse! But I do like to do some exercise. I've probably upped what I used to do slightly since lockdown because I'm just sat in the house all day. I'm just going to try and slow down and cut back a bit. I don't want to stop altogether and I'm sure they say exercise is meant to be good for you 🤦🏼‍♀️ I have been thinking about getting a private appointment but then I think I'm just whittling. I might do it just for peace of mind. Google is definitely my enemy at times 😒

@Annny27 you're right, never thought about people with PCOS. I know I'm worrying unnecessarily. My inner control freak just wants everything 'perfect' and I think I need to let that notion go! 😂 were going to carry on trying this month. Could be a loooooong month 😅. I'm glad you're feeling more positive though! A holiday always help I find. Good luck dtd tonight. I'm boiling! 🥵

@ELM7 love that meme! So true. My husband also laughs at my 'pee sticks' as he calls them. So romantic 🤨

@Milscookie huge congrats on your BFD! That's a beautiful ring! And so special that it's your grandmas diamond. I love that you weren't expecting it - I remember being caught totally off guard too! I actually remember thinking at the time that he was acting really odd all night and starting to annoy me 😂 turned out the poor bloke was just a nervous wreck trying to get everything to play out as he'd planned and I was doing my best to unintentionally scupper it! When he finally popped the question my initial response was 'are you serious' 🤦🏼‍♀️ as if he would be joking after almost 10 years 😳

Annny27 · 31/07/2020 22:09

Evening :D it was around 34 degrees today and still managed to DTD haha 🙌🤣

@MilsCookie awwh thats so lovely with your grans diamond. Very thoughtful 💗 and your twins can be flowers girls/babies at your wedding 😭🥰😍

@SunnySideUp2020 can't decide whether to take it easy with the every other day dtd or go crazy now there's a positive opk haha. The consultant basically told me to just relax and dtd every other day but I am so conflicted :p

@scrumdiddly123 yep a FRER when yoir AF is due will be somethinf to look forward to :D

@Nuggetlover27 once a poas addict, always an addicr haha. Well let's hope that bleeding is implantation!! Whens AF due?

Wow congrats @MilsCookie!! Such amazing news❤️❤️, and such a gorgeous ring too and so thoughtful of your fiancé to use your grandmas diamond!xx

@Nuggetlover27 ya I get that, it's easier to expect the worst I find!

ELM7 · 31/07/2020 16:57

Congrats again @MilsCookie on the BFD that’s so lovely that he had it re-set in a new band for you. ❤️

MilsCookie · 31/07/2020 16:09

Aww thank you so much lovely ladies!! @Annny27 @TerribleImagination @Nuggetlover27 @SunnySideUp2020 no I didn't expect it at all!! 😮 the diamond is from my grandma's engagement ring which was left to me... he had it re-set in a new band 😍 I love it so much! Love that we're calling these BFDs now 🤣 - Anny you've started something!

@Annny27 how exciting - get DTD! ❤️❤️❤️ the month we conceived I "wasn't doing OPKs" either but definitely did 1 on CD15 cos curiosity got the better of me 🙈🤣 just have as much sex as you can! I soooooo want this to be your month!!! 😍

And you too @Nuggetlover27 - fingers crossed for you that was an implantation bleed!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

SunnySideUp2020 · 31/07/2020 15:41

@MilsCookie congratulations on the BFD!!!!!!!!!!
💍💗💗
Did you expect it?????

@scrumdiddly123 the test is looking good!
Fingers crossed for a sticky one 😇

So much happening these days 😅
@Annny27 get busy 😬 nice opk!!

Nuggetlover27 · 31/07/2020 14:50

@Leok83 I'm hoping it is implantation but trying not to rely too much on that thought if that makes sense

@Annny27 yay to nearly peeking! Knew you'd give in to the POAS 😂

@scrumdiddly123 congrats again hun! Thanks for the pointers as well. Seems as though a lot of ladies who have been getting their BFPs have had a relaxing month and not thinking about it all too much, it's so hard though haha

Ahh congrats @MilsCookie! What a beautiful ring! I hope you're enjoying your break!

It's soo hot here (in Essex) today! Way too hot to be stuck in an office, haha. Hope everyone is enjoying the sun!

TerribleImagination · 31/07/2020 14:35

Awwww @MilsCookie that is AMAAAAAZING news!!!! I’m so so happy for you lovely! Gorgeous ring! 😍 Sending all the love to you both! xxx

Annny27 · 31/07/2020 12:38

Lovely ring as well! You and @SunnySideUp2020 can be wedding planning buddies!

@scrumdiddly123 the bfp definitley darkening! And I think relaxed did the trick :D definitley take it one day at a time and there's nothing to think this won't progress :)

Oops @Nuggetlover27 missed you off sorry! Also sorry for the essay 🤣

scrumdiddly123 · 31/07/2020 11:55

@Annny27 @Leok83 @MilsCookie @SunnySideUp2020 @Fizzl @Elm7 @Ejb86 @TerribleImagination
Thank you so much for the lovely messages! I’ve been so lucky to have the support of this group and definitely won’t be going anywhere yet! Things change so quickly, a few days ago I was sure this cycle was the same as the rest and we’d actually decided that if we didn’t fall this month we’d stop trying for a few months. I’d totally relaxed this cycle, not temped every day (did it a handful of times just to conform ov), only did a few opks and then ran out and didn’t stress about that when I normally would have done. Also we DTD a grand total of twice during the whole cycle 😂
So it’s been unexpected especially to get a bfp so early! I haven’t really had any symptoms apart from the funny turn at 8dpo. I had the exact same thing when I conceived my youngest so that was a big clue and what made me test! My boobs are a bit sore but apart from that I feel normal. Obviously terrified but nothing I can do just look after myself. It’ll either work out or it won’t so just got to take it each day as it comes!
If I make it to 5 weeks then I’ll ring EPU and book in for a scan at 6 weeks.
For those of you lovely ladies still waiting we’re all still here for you and it will happen for all of us soon I’m sure!
Sorry if I missed anyone, and @Anny27 yes I tested again this morning with a cheapie. Going to try and hold off on my last FRER til AF is actually due on Monday 🤞🏻

Annny27 · 31/07/2020 10:02

We are nearly peaking 🥳 (says the girl who isn't doing opks this month ......🤥😄)

@SunnySideUp2020 not yet - the consultant said not to bother at the moment.....would have taken 5 seconds for him to provide a sample so feels a quick non invasive test to do haha. But I am jappy to wait at the moment. The doctor basically said the progesterone suppositories will provide very little benefit but i want to give them a go!

@Leok83 so exciting not long then to wait!!!

@ELM7 I am actually back home now (still south east) but we were down in west wittering area for a seaside break :D Dorsets a lovely place to be though!

@Annny27 fair play to you for being positive! It's the best way to be but it's not easy at times. And I am sooo jealous you have some sunshine!! It's literally rained here for the last 2 months!
My GP referred me to EPU for an early scan so getting it next Tuesday (I should be 7 weeks then). I doubt I'll get offered another free scan before 12 weeks then though if everything is ok (🤞) so I'll prob try and book in a 9 week scan privately then too.

@Fizzl I do agree with @Annny27 that the length it takes to ovulate has no bearing on your eggs or the lining of your uterus. Would you maybe consider talking to a repro specialist about it to put your mind at ease and to know you are doing the right thing? Sometimes google is your worst enemy and better to go straight to a qualified expert as a lot of the sites with information aren't the best. And you wouldn't want to miss the opportunity on a long cycle if you knew it was no riskier than a regular cycle then. xx

SunnySideUp2020 · 31/07/2020 09:47

@scrumdiddly123 what a nice bfp!!!!!!! Congratulations lovely 🥳🥳🥳🥳
We are a few days apart!!

@Annny27 good that they prescribed you the progesterone and that everything looked ok!
Let's hope it happens soon. Has your dp done a sample too??

ELM7 · 31/07/2020 09:42

@Annny27 @Fizzl @Nuggetlover27 we will keep each other going until we have the final 4 BFP’s - it’s a 🦕 pact!

Where about’s down south have you gone @Annny27. I live in Dorset and the weather is stunning here today. Enjoy the break
