@Annny27

My own doc told me nxt time I get a bfp to start taking aspirin, it was me who mentioned it to her thou or other ways I don't think she would off said anything to me about it. I know it can't harm anything and I wana feel like I'm doing anything to help keep the nxt pregnancy. Look it up I have read some good success stories of people who have took it after a loss and went on to have healthy babies, they do say that they don't know if it was the aspirin but it was the only thing they done different and feel it was the aspirin that helped.

Annny27 · 05/08/2020 14:32

@Babyghirl no i haven't been told that about the aspirin- I have only had one miscariage so perhaps that's why? Did they day that to you

I have had variable progesterone (well not confirmed but suspected through short LPs and spotting) since the miscarriage so giving this a go for a few months 🤞🤞

Babyghirl · 05/08/2020 14:20

@Annny27

I think my progesterone is somethings low in cycles, first time I had my 21 day bloods it was only 16.5 second time was 30.5, when my second loss was taking place it was only 4. 5 I will deffo mention it to my fertility specialist when I get to c him again. Have you been told to take aspirin when you get a bfp.

Annny27 · 05/08/2020 14:19

@abi0795 I think it was very nearly there and you probably peaked overnight:)

@leok83 thanks lovely! I saw that your scan went well:D and you are also on the joyous progesteron suppositories now as well?

@Fizzl that's so good you have all the signs of ovulation!! Thank god it hasn't taken forever this cycle even if it's delayed a little!!

Best of luck to you and @Annny27 in the TWW!! And all the other ladies joining you!!xx

Abi0795 · 05/08/2020 13:43

@Annny27 Would you say that first test was a peak or nearly there? I'm not very good at reading them xxx

Abi0795 · 05/08/2020 13:41

Hi @Annny27 I hope so, my body is all over the place after the miscarriage. My lines are fainter on the tests now after I got that dark one so it must have happened.

Even my CM is different to what it used to be, but maybe we just over think more after a loss 💆🏼‍♀️

Thank you for your advice xxx

Annny27 · 05/08/2020 13:33

@Abi0795 I would say you have ovulated! Mine are sometimes still high after ovulation but if you have had your peak, the cm and pains then its safe to say you probably have!

@fizzl one of the girls on another thread is doing self insemination now as she is so tired of dtd ....i don't blame her haha

Abi0795 · 05/08/2020 13:15

Hi girls @Annny27 @Fizzl thanks for getting back to me! I had the cervical mucus and pains over the weekend but didn't test on Sunday, Monday was my predicted day and I got the test result on the left. I then didn't test again until yesterday night and got the result on the right, but my app is saying it's still high.

Now I'm worrying I haven't ovulated 😖 as I never did see a full "peak"

Do you think I may have missed the full peak over night or the morning when I didn't test?

Thanks so much xxx

@Annny27 will see how we feel tonight 😂 and whether I actually get a peak reading today or not!

@Abi0795 I'm similar to Anny and have been using opk's for what feels like forever! It's second nature to just pee on sticks all the time now 😂 I'm currently using easy@home ones and they're fine. I use one step sometimes too and they're also fine I think! Didn't really like the premom ones but only because they never seemed very dark so hard to read.

Annny27 · 05/08/2020 12:26

@abi0795 I am somewhat of a POAS addict so have probably used about 200 opks since ttc haha. Whats your question?

@Babyghirl not long then :D tww is okay so far although the progesterone has already made my boobs bigger!

OP posts:
Abi0795 · 05/08/2020 12:24

Is there anyone on here who knows anything about OPK's? 🙌🏼 xx

Babyghirl · 05/08/2020 12:00

@Annny27

Yep we might be I norm half a 15 day lp and it's 16 days to my next period so I should see a temp rise in the morning, just dtd before I head to work so I think I have covered all angles lol. Hubby on nite shift but he got a wake up call from me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, how's your tww going always drags in lol 💚💚

Annny27 · 05/08/2020 10:55

2 or 3 dpo so started taking the progesterone today!

This us a public service request.....PLEASE remind me numerous times when I try and symptom spot that I will feel pregnant even if I am not as a result of the progesterone haha! 🙈

@fizzl omg I am delighted :D let's hope its tomorrow and then we can be tww buddies. And I only dtd every other day even around ovulation as i really couldnt be arsed but worth a shot if its only today and tomorrow and that you arent too tired :D

@abi0795 sorry you find yourself here too! Its rubbish going from being elated and pregnant to miscarrying and depressed!

@Babyghirl we might be tww buddies aswell then!

Babyghirl · 05/08/2020 10:42

@fizzl

Hoping your ovulation is about to happen im on cd12 and have had a temp drop today, if it shots up tomara then I will be on 1dpo I norm ovulate between CD 11/13 so heres to hoping its everybody's month 💚💚

Abi0795 · 05/08/2020 10:08

Hi @Fizzl sorry to find you in this position too ❤️

I'm not even sure I'm ovulating after my MC which is quite worrying, I've had a very close to positive ovulation but then did another test 24 hours later and the line wasn't as strong. What OPK do you use? xx

Fizzl · 05/08/2020 09:51

@Annny27 hooray for ovulation! Let's hope that the progesterone works it's magic for you this month!

My opk's are almost positive 🤗 I'm going to keep testing today and expect them to be positive at some point as I don't normally get a build up to them peaking. We have carried on dtd every other day to cover all bases. We decided in for a penny in for a pound this month 😂 thankfully the ovulation gods (🤨) are slightly on our side as I don't think we could keep that up for 60+ days.

I'm not sure what to do tonight now tho 😬 we dtd last night so I don't know whether to leave it until tomorrow which is probably (hopefully) when I'll ovulate 🤔 or go all in and do tonight and tomorrow.

@Babyghirl I know how you feel. I don't really talk to anyone about it now and those that do know don't really bring it up with me because I assume they don't really know what to say and probably worry it'll just upset me. To be fair I would probably be the same in their shoes.

@Abi0795 sadly you're in the right place! Sorry you have experienced a mc too. Like I said to @Babyghirl this thread has been a great support to so many ladies 💐. It's quite quiet on here now but there's a few of us still hanging on since jan and we've agreed to keep each other company until we all get our BFP.

I've also found pregnancy announcements hard. I've had a good couple of cries over the past months but now it's getting easier. A few of my friends are due babies in the next couple of months and I'm actually feeling ok about it. I'm planning a baby shower at the minute too which I thought would make my heart sink but so far so good so it does get easier.

Babyghirl · 04/08/2020 21:41

@abi0795

Well I'm taking a more relaxed approach this month, people tell me to relax it will happen I use to say no it won't but I'm going to see how much truth is in it lol so don't be like me and get caught up in just making a baby enjoy each other, do the things you love and try to relax I found myself a lot more relax when my husband to be bought me a wee thing to remember r angel baby and I fell pregnant again. But both time I have fallen in September 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈 so hoping I don't fall again in September lol xxx

Abi0795 · 04/08/2020 21:27

Exactly! We have no idea what struggles people have gone through to get their healthy babies. They were probably once in our situation thinking the exact same things @Babyghirl

Babyghirl · 04/08/2020 21:24

@abi0795

Not there fault at all but I envy them, but God only knows if they have had struggles while ttc. We can only hope and pray our nxt little beans hang around but I have every faith we'll I try that nxt time will work out and my two angels will be watching over me and the baby. Xxx

Abi0795 · 04/08/2020 20:45

So strange you've just said that @Babyghirl because I was just saying to my OH that I've seen 3 pregnancy announcements today and they've really upset me. Totally not them ladies fault and I'm happy for them, I'm just sad for myself xxx

Babyghirl · 04/08/2020 20:36

@abi0795

I know how you feel I can't be around pregnant women or babies it's hurts to much. Have deleted my Facebook cause pregnancy posts popping up everywhere, tell people I can't talking about people I knw who r pregnant that sounds sad when u write it but I'm just protecting myself from hurt, if I don't protect myself no one else will xxx

Abi0795 · 04/08/2020 20:19

Thank you @Babyghirl I think it's really hard for some people to understand if they haven't lost a baby before. I envy those ladies who have always had successful pregnancies. Guess we've just got to work a bit harder xxx

Babyghirl · 04/08/2020 20:15

@abi0795

I think after a loss we will never trust our bodies again well I know I never, when I fell pregnant again the second time I had myself saying when I loss this and not if, but I have learnt that we can't change the outcome at the end and I have learnt to trust that we will get our rainbow babies. Don't be hard on yourself if it does not happen straight away as it's your bodies way off telling you it's not ready to house a wee bean just yet and needs time to heal and build back up again. So nxt time your body will be ready for your baby to grow 💚 x

Abi0795 · 04/08/2020 20:09

Hi @Babyghirl so sorry to hear about your losses! 😣 I think I just need to build trust with my body again as it let me down! I got pregnant first try on my MC so now I'll be worried if that doesn't happen again (I know it can take time) I'm just so scared I'll never get that rainbow xxx
