Great news @Annny27
Having the doctors being proactive or at least understanding you is really helpful!
And good thyroid is one thing on your side!

ELM7 · 21/05/2020 13:12

@Annny27 ahh glad the Drs are going to contact them so at least you will be on their radar even if they do wait rather than being referred in 6mths time and then having to wait for appointments.

Ejb86 · 21/05/2020 12:48

That's good news @Annny27. One less thing to have on your list of worries.

Annny27 · 21/05/2020 12:27

(As you can see my mums net break is going really well 🤣🤣🤣)

So I called my doctor again (previously they said I had to wait 2 years!!) But I spoke to a different one who said he would contact the fertility clinic for me :D he said they may make me wait 6 months more as that will be 6 months after a pregnancy but I am glad that things are getting rolling

Also he said my thyroid was absolutely fine and has been tested recently which was a concern of mine so thats one thing I am more relaxed about :D

@Annny27 and @Leok83 So sorry AF has come for both of you.

@Annny27 I completely understand as my babies would of officially been due Tues just gone and I always thought I would be pregnant again before their due date.

Really does seem to of been a strange month for so many of us.

SunnySideUp2020 · 21/05/2020 08:59

@Annny27 sorry 😞 i totally understand the need to stay off mn for a bit.
Sometimes the good and bad news here add to our own difficulties and it can be a little overwhelming. You have always been here and supportive for all of us so I hope you can take a step back and have this month to focus on yourself. Sending lots of love and hugs Anny x ❤

@Fizzl cramping might be the start of AF... honestly resetting and starting a new cycle might be good anyway... leave the frustration of not knowing behind x
Thanks for letting me know about general anaesthetic. I am slowly getting used to the idea :)

MilsCookie · 21/05/2020 08:59

Oh nooooo @Annny27 I'm so sorry AF came and sorry if I got your hopes up about the positive opk. In some ways at least you've had a shorter cycle and can start trying again sooner than if you'd had a usual 30 day cycle. But it's so so disappointing. Just got to remember that your time WILL come and try to stay positive. Sending a big hug your way Flowers xxx

Still thinking of you all and sending lots of positive vibes for BFPs very soon xxxxxx Star

Fizzl · 21/05/2020 08:58

@SunnySideUp2020 oh and my opk's have reached their highest today! A grand old 0.28 and clearly still very negative 🙄

Fizzl · 21/05/2020 08:44

@Mococo1 sorry you find yourself here but welcome 💐

@Ejb86 it certainly does mess with your head! I've had these little fantasies since starting ttc again - imagining a baby arriving a year to the date we found out about the mc, then imagining a Christmas baby, then a new year baby and now I'm imagining finding out I'm pregnant around what would have been my due date. Got to remain hopeful I suppose 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Annny27 I hope you feel better for taking sometime. We'll still be here when you're ready again 💐. I think a break from everything might help. Strangle now accepting this cycle is a write off I feel quite relaxed. There's no build up and questioning 'am I, aren't I' I just know I'm not.

@SunnySideUp2020 im CD28 today so I'd usually be expecting af around now. Got no idea what to expect this month. Keep feeling a little crampy on and off but could be my imagination as I don't even know if I'll get any pmt symptoms! I haven't had a hysteroscopy so can't comment on the procedure but I did have a general anaesthetic for my surgery and it was the first time I'd ever had an op and was a nervous wreck! And in honesty it was fine. I was knocked out for less than an hour and because they'd only used a light anaesthetic I came round instantly and felt fine. I just remember drifting off and then next thing wide awake again.

Annny27 · 21/05/2020 08:14

No I took my temps this morning and they were low so definitely start of a new cycle! :/ @sunnysideup2020

So lesson learnt- don't use an OPK as a pregnancy test as it isn't accurate!

OP posts:
SunnySideUp2020 · 21/05/2020 07:18

@Annny27 oh noo. Sorry lovely
, i also got excited.
But have you done a pregnancy test? I know it's very unlikely and you probably know your body but just to be sure can you do one? Your opk was very strong...

@scrumdiddly123 yayyyyy on peaking!!!! Finally!!!

@Leok83 sorry AF arrived for you too. But good for the LP. Definitely a positive in a way.

Thanks for letting me know. Yes it's a hysteroscopy. I did ask for general anaesthetic though. I dont think i can have someone probing again with me fully conscious... but i add your sister to my count positive experiences. Thank you x

@Fizzl how are you doing? How are opks on your front? Which cd are you?

Annny27 · 21/05/2020 07:12

@ejb86 fingers crossed your period stays away! Thats really stressful for you!

I am going to take a break from mumsnet for a little bit. I will pop back on periodically to see if anyone has their bfps but I am not in a good place in terms of ttc and just want to forget about it all for a little bit. My baby would be born this month and it kills me not to be pregnant again 😪 good luck ladies and will catch up with you all soon xz

So I'm 1dpo on cd25 and already dreading AF appearing. My average cycle length is 25 days since MC and I've had lps as short as 5 days. We've dtd loads this cycle and I know I'm going to be gutted when she arrives.

Somehow I have this idea that it will all happen next month and mirror the twin pregnancy from last year. My girls were conceived on 16th june and we lost them in September. I dont know. It all just messes with your head, doesn't it?

Mococo1 · 20/05/2020 23:52

Thank you baby dust to alll xxx

Leok83 · 20/05/2020 23:51

@scrumdiddly123 thank you! Hopefully this is your cycle too and it’ll have been well worth the wait😊

Leok83 · 20/05/2020 23:49

Oh no @Annny27 I’m so sorry AF came and so early. And so cruel that the opk line looked so good too. This is obviously just being a really crappy month all round😢

@GlitterFairy1412 happy anniversary! And enjoy some well deserved Gin!!

@Fizzl ya I think I’d def like less work aswell as a baby now too😄!

@Mococo1 welcome and sorry for your loss. Hopefully it won’t be long until you get your rainbow baby.

Mococo1 · 20/05/2020 23:22

Hey guys can I join this thread please?

I miscarried April 1st 6w1d from an unplanned pregnancy conceived on the Pill- DH and I were over the moon but it wasn’t meant to be.

Just got my first period on the 15th of May 6 weeks after the miscarriage- totally missed my fertile window for April due to mc timing and hoping to ttc rainbow baby from this month onwards!

Fizzl · 20/05/2020 23:19

Ah @Annny27 I'm sorry 😔. What is going on with our cycles this month?! Everyone's seems to have gone haywire it's bizarre. Make sure you spoil yourself over the next few days. Get some more ciders in and enjoy the sunshine - I've been out in the sun today and feel so much better for it.

@Leok83 sorry you're out too. I know what you mean with being so busy with work. I've actually really enjoyed this lockdown as it's meant such a slower pace of life and made me realise how much I'm normally dashing around like a headless chicken most days! We've already decided once we have a baby I can reduce my hours at work and I can't wait! (For both the baby and less work 😂)

scrumdiddly123 · 20/05/2020 23:05

Oh @Annny27 sorry cross posted! That’s crap! How frustrating 😖

scrumdiddly123 · 20/05/2020 23:03

Thanks @Annny27 @Leok83, at last! Was starting to think it was never going to happen!
Sorry AF arrived leo but good your LP has lengthened! Fingers crossed for next cycle!

Annny27 · 20/05/2020 22:57

Well no need to get excited ladies because that positive OPK meant absolutely nothing my fricking period just arrived at 11dpo on cycle day 23???
Giving me a 10 day LP and a 22 day cycle. When usually its 14 days LP

And its definitely not any type of implantation bleeding as its bright read and heavy. So confused and frustrated and upset

Onto month 6 after miscarriage and officially 1 year of ttc 😪😪😪😪

GlitterFairy1412 · 20/05/2020 22:38

@Leok83 I usually ovulate on CD12 or 13, I'm on CD2 right now.

On the bright side I'm celebrating my 2nd wedding anniversary with DH tomorrow so plenty of gin for me guilt free!

Leok83 · 20/05/2020 21:58

Evening ladies!
Sorry I dropped out of the chat for a day, work was crazy so has been work, sleep, eat for last couple days! Part of me wonders what I’ll do if I ever do manage to have a baby..may need to look into less work!
Anyways took my mind off AF arriving and it’s arrived today so 13DPO meaning my LP has lengthened at least!

@Annny27 that’s looking very positive to have a strong line on opk at this stage!! I’m very excited for your testing now!!

@scrumdiddly123 that looks like a peak alright!! Yay at last!!

@SunnySideUp2020 is it a hysteroscopy you are going for?If it is my sister had one in February and drove to and back. Called to me at work on her way home and said it was uncomfortable but not too bad.

@GlitterFairy1412 sorry AF arrived for you too. It’s even more miserable the closer to due date 😔 When do you normally ovulate? We could be close cycle buddies this month!

How’s everyone else doing? I’m also sorry I’ve missed this post ye we’re talking about! Have to go and search for it now😄!
