Ahh that's so annoying, running out of opks just when the peak is going to happen... Worst case you ll be a day out in your calculation of dpo :)
At least it gave you time to dtd more 😊(hopefully!!)

@SunnySideUp2020 I think it was the low before the peak! Have had two more high readings today but annoyingly I’ve run out of opks. We are going away tomorrow for the rest of the week so I haven’t bothered ordering any more. But have had ov pains this afternoon and had an insane amount of EWCM all day so thinking today’s the day. will keep tempting to hopefully confirm 🤞🏻

@SunnySideUp2020 yep I’m 6dpo so week one of TWW done! I’m on holiday this week up in Scotland so hoping will be distracted enough during second week of the dreaded TWW.

Ah @Annny27 I'm sorry af got you ☹️ our bodies are strange things at times! I find it really hard to comprehend that we have no control over what it decides to do sometimes. I feel like there should be a manual and control buttons or something 🤨 I love your positive attitude this month tho! I know we always say you've got to try and stay positive but it's bloody hard sometimes and this process is draining.

@Nuggetlover27 to be fair 3 days in a row is bloomin tiring! We're carrying on every other day until + opk then will do that day, day after, miss a day and once more for good luck 😂 that's what we did when I caught last year anyway and bingo! Also my
Opk's tend to do what yours are doing and go up and down a bit before I all of a sudden get a positive.

@Annny27 we’ve actually only managed to dtd once this cycle 🙈 which was Friday night. So need to get busy tonight 😂
We’ve been out all day today at the seaside, I’d normally test again mid afternoon but couldn’t so tested again this evening when we got home and it was lighter. So not sure if I peaked this afternoon and missed it or maybe this mornings was the peak just starting to come down? Will see what tomorrow’s looks like!

@Annny27 aw I'm so sorry it's a BFN still. Its good to have a good long LP though but at same time it does just drag things out.

@ELM7 I was a bit like @Fizzl, I didn't really curb my drinking when TTC initially, and had xmas party the night before I found out about BFP last November and I drank a lot of wine. But I will always worry that may have played a part in my MC, even though I know it's seriously unlikely. Since the MC I didn't drink in the TWW and I only drank a small amount before ovulation as the stress wouldn't be worth it now for me to be worrying if it could cause another MC. But I'm sure having the odd drink is probably fine..how many people get pregnant and don't know for ages and everything is fine when they have been drinking away at alcohol and caffeine to their hearts content!!

@SunnySideUp2020 no we've not booked anything yet! We had a couple of uk breaks at the start of the year and had planned to go abroad in June but obviously that couldn't happen ☹️

The uk is pretty much back open and from about 2 weeks ago you can go on holiday again but there's lots of safety measures in place so it just doesn't feel like it would be a nice relaxing holiday 😑 having to que to get into a half empty pub just doesn't sound fun! And then I think all the distancing stuff (whilst it's good they've put things in place) just makes me nervous - it's like a constant reminder and makes you on edge!

It's our wedding anniversary in 2 months and we would normally go away for that so hoping to maybe book something then 🤞

@Fizzl aww i know the feeling, i love travelling and during march-june i just felt so weird not being able to move!!
Have you guys not planned anything at all?
Is the UK still very much closed?
Travelling is also god sent when ttc, keeps your mind off it. Less obsessing...

@Nuggetlover27 you're right dtd every other day is meant to be slightly better although if there aren't any issues with sperm apparently the difference is very small. Have you tried smep?

@ELM7 I don't drink in the tww now. When I was ttc last year I drank as much as I wanted in the lead up to ovulation. In fact the month I fell I'd been out drinking cocktails and doing shots of tequila 😳 in the tww I cut back but didn't cut out completely and still had maybe 1 or 2 drinks. Obviously now I always think back and wonder if the drinking played a part in what happened. Deep down I know it didn't but because I'm a massive worrier I've made the decision now to just avoid alcohol completely in the tww and to massively cut back the rest of the time. I honestly don't think a drink or two would do any harm at all but for my own peace of mind I just know it's better for me to avoid so I don't have that added worry of what if that one glass of wine has caused some harm?! Irrational I know...

So spent the afternoon in hospital.
We went waterskiing early morning and then drove to Nice to spend the day but DP only then realised he had injured his ankle.
He has 0 pain tolerance, so we went to the hospital... and now he cant do anything for 3 weeks 😶 we are supposed to go to italy on Sunday!!!
I know it's not his fault but such shit timing..
Anyway he has been such a drama queen as well today, didnt help my post ovulation mood 🤣

Yeah so basically she is being looked after carefully and we will see how the next few weeks go.

as for drinking, i am not a drinker by nature. I dont like the taste of alcohol... so easy not to drink. But if i must have a glass with guests etc i just have a small one... whenever in the cycle

Grandma has now been hospitalized at home. She isn't doing good but alive! But i think they went a bit crazy with all the surgeries and now she is struggling to recover... her wounds wont close and she is very weak.. but al least she is home in the countryside. Still living on a hospital bed with nurses 3 times a day aybay
