Starting TTC again after missed miscarriage

Hi,
Just ovulated for the first time after my missed miscarriage at 13 weeks (baby had stopped growing at 6-7) and wondered if anyone wanted to keep me company while we go through the ups and downs of ttc all over again! ! Xx

Hi all. Wahey, our new thread has started! I'll also be hanging around here with the others while waiting for our periods to return. Not sure when I will be TTC so might not have much to contribute.

I found out at 13 weeks that it had stopped growing at 7 weeks (another one here tricked for 6 weeks). Had a MVA over 2 weeks ago, which I had to very stressfully arrange elsewhere as my hospital were only offering MM.

@33Carr you are totally right and of course hormones have a lot to answer for. I’m a huge believer in fate and that is helping massively.

@Smilingdonkey Our journeys sound exactly the same, my DS is 17 months and when I fell pregnant second time round it was a huge surprise and decided not to stress or spend money on scans etc and I too was tricked for 6 weeks. I will definitely be having reassurance scans (hopefully!) next time!! Xx

@Smilingdonkey Ahh that's hard 😔 I found it hard to get excited for my friend, and she never talked about her pregnancy (probably because she didn't want to upset me) but we're past that which I'm glad about now! Sometimes it's hard not to take things personally when there was nothing neither of us could have done about it,

@Workingmama1 sorry to hear about your recent loss(ess). Do you have twins in the family?

Smilingdonkey · 15/05/2020 21:55

@Britannah I am not worried yet but I do feel less trusting of my body. I think when (thinking positively here!) I do get pregnant again I will be a nervous wreck. I have an 19 month old and I was so anxious with her pregnancy for no reason. Then for this last one didn't stress at all... Only to Fi D my body had been tricking me for 7 weeks! Lots of early scans next time I think...

@33Carr it's hard isn't it? My close friend is due the day before I was meant to be. I'm so happy for her but get a pang when it's mentioned x

Hi all, sad to see everyone but glad we can share this journey together.

I had a MMC three weeks ago, baby (or babies they weren't sure if it was twins) stopped developing at 6 weeks and I miscarried naturally at 11 weeks.

33Carr · 15/05/2020 21:20

@britannah I have bouts where I questions everything and I'm full of what's ifs but I think it's hormone related and try to cut myself some slack. Sometimes it just takes a little longer!

Britannah · 15/05/2020 21:14

Hi ladies, suffered a MMC in December and this is C1 of TTC. It will be DC2 for us as we already have a little one but despite that the loss has totally knocked my confidence and I now can’t stop thinking the worst which is rediculous I know as we’ve just started! Does anyone else feel the same? AF due next Tuesday. Wishing you all beautiful rainbow babies xxx

33Carr · 15/05/2020 21:12

@Smilingdonkey I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! As I'm on cycle 2 now after an MVA at the end of March I've had time to come to terms with all that's happened. Still have my moments but generally trying to stay positive! My best friend is also pregnant, found out three weeks after my MVA, found it quite hard to begin with but so happy for her now! Hopefully I'll get my BFP soon and we can be belly buddies! 😂

SkyBlue20 · 15/05/2020 21:11

Hi all! Makes me so sad that there are so many of us but it’s also so nice to have people to go through this with. Hello to those I’m just meeting now 👋🏼
I found out we’d lost our baby at our 12 week scan on 26th March, six weeks of back and forthing followed with expectant and medical management before I finally had an MVA two weeks ago today on 1st May. Bleeding seems to have stopped now so have to do a pregnancy test next Fri and hope for a negative, then hopefully my period will follow soon after. It was our first pregnancy and we got pregnant first month of trying so hoping for the same again (though not expecting it!) 🤞🏼
Hope everyone is doing ok xx

Hi everyone! Let's start this journey again together 😊

I had my miscarriage on 20th April and I am pretty sure I am pretty sure I am ovulating today so first period is probably 12-14 days away. How is everyone feeling about it all? Xx

Hi all! TTC after MMC in April. I haven’t had my first period yet so I might not be active on here until I do but I just wanted to mark my place 😊 Good luck everyone! 💕 xx

Swest30 · 15/05/2020 20:30

Hi @Smilingdonkey, we are TTC after missed miscarriage in February. First month this month, looks like no luck this month. It’s nice to feel I’m not alone in this!

Hettie1981 · 15/05/2020 20:26

We re TTC after a MM too. Just waiting for my period. Xx

33Carr · 15/05/2020 20:22

Hi both! We are TTC again after our MMC in March! This is cycle #2 atm, AF due next week but think she's already in her way! How are you both doing?

SkyBlue20 · 15/05/2020 20:11

Found you, @smilingdonkey! I’m a bit away from TTC again yet (need to test for my negative next week, three weeks post-MVA), but will definitely hang out here! Xx
