Just been to the loo after a few hours and the pad I was wearing had a 5cm streak of yellow/brown. Is it common to implant at 6/7dpo? Not due af for another 5/7 days x

SmileyT · 18/05/2020 18:18

@Insideallday hi lovely, I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't say that I'm the best person to ask as I chose surgical management for my MMC so classed surgery day as day 1. I general I would say that I would class the first full flow of bleeding as CD1 and work from there but don't know if the girls would agree?
I know some people do get ovulation bleeding and also you can get a bit of bleeding post MC sporadically, are you tracking ovulation at all with CM, opks, temp? xx

Insideallday · 18/05/2020 16:59

Hello ladies, I’ve been following you all and on the other Missed miscarriage thread in the miscarriage section. I would like some help, please to see if anyone has experienced similar.

I found out at 9 week scan that I was having a missed miscarriage.

Basically started spotting on the 23rd April, passed everything a week later on the 30th April, stopped bleeding the 6th of May. So bleeding for 2 weeks.

Today I had lots of watery discharge with some blood. Could I be getting my period already or can you get spotting in ovulation.

Do I calculate my menstrual cycle from the 1st day of bleeding or from when I passed the sac etc.

Thanks for reading, not sure if I’m explaining myself.

SmileyT · 18/05/2020 16:25

@Renna I'm trying with the meditation everyday the week 1 video I'm using is only 7mins so it's quite nice first thing before I get out of bed and not so long it delays anything, I find anything too long and I get distracted 😂 definitely reckon you can practice with the cups with lube. Due to ovulate in around 11/12 days so I reckon fertile period starts in a week, will start DTD with purpose on Friday if this mammoth period ever ends 😩 glad you are still feeling calm this TWW here's hoping you are rewarded for your patience.

@Hayleylou89 I had spongy walls the week before AF but like you only lasted a couple days I think 🤞

Congrats @Quail15 🥳 🎉

@ttcin2020 I think it's most important to put your mental health in front of everything it can be so easy to get caught up in the ttc bubble, before my MC and coming on MN I'd honestly never even heard of people testing a week before their period, doing opks, taking their temp and symptom spotting I think most of my friends just came off contraception and just tried and it happened. This works for people all the time if they are just having regular sex you will cover your fertile period. I love data so actually makes me feel more in control after feeling very out of control during MC but if it makes you feel like shit don't do it. Maybe have a month of regular sex every 2 or 3 days and see how you feel afterwards xx

@Jazper what cycle day are you on? If you think it could be ovulation day tomorrow test again tonight if not I'd just check again tomorrow morning. I don't limit liquids for testing I wouldn't worry too much about that unless you've just downed a litre of water x

VP91x · 18/05/2020 15:23

@Quail15 congratulations!! That's definitely a positive line and they aren't that sensitive so you'll definitely get a stronger line on a FRER or early detection CB. Lovely news! ❤️

@Jazper hey 👋
We have had our fair share of trials and tribulations with CB digital on this thread this month 😂

Couple of us went from blank to static in the same day. Some several days of flashy etc. It says to use FMU but then you can test more than once a day once you get a flashy.

Do you have cheapies you can use alongside? If not then I would say do one late evening too in case so you catch it xx

Hi ladies. Jumping over from the last thread. I posted a couple of times but loitered mostly, getting to grips with tracking ovulation as a lot of you do.
I've a question, if a more experienced ov tracker can help. I've just got my first flashing smily on Clearblue Advanced. Yey! But now I'm wondering when do I test again? I don't want to miss peak and thinking I should try tonight but also want to avoid limiting fluids, especially around the time of ov! What to do, what to do? 🤷🏽‍♀️
Thanks in advance. Love the support of this thread. Wishing us all lots of luck! ❤️

Hayleylou89 · 18/05/2020 13:39

Aww congrats @Quail15 tbh for a cheapy that is quite strong as they never seem to be dark when Iv seen anyones but that's obviously there :) x congrats u deserve it after the time uv had. Xx ans frer would defo be stronger i think x

Renna · 18/05/2020 12:14

@Hayleylou89 this is very true haha .. it's nothing compared to some of the naughty things we do sometimes tbf .. so he can get over it if he thinks it's weird 😂 xx 😂😂

Renna · 18/05/2020 12:13

@ttcin2020 hi hun xx I'm not too sure about the ovulation question but with regards to taking a break from it all.. im on my 2nd cycle since MC (3rd if you count the few weeks after MC but I dont think I ovulated as got no peak ) and last month I did opks and temping and checking my cervix and symptom spotting and I felt a bit crazy especially in TWW. This cycle I decided because of that I wont temp and I'll come on mumsnet less ( although I have still be on here every few days) and I decided not to temp. The main thing I wanted to keep was doing the opks so I know when I've got my peak so I have an idea I've covered the fertile period, and I deffo feel better mentally this cycle cutting some things out.
It's so hard feeling conflicted between the 2 but deffo think taking a step back and trying to relax can only be a good thing if you're finding yourself stressed or upset from it xxx everyones different though and should do what feels right for you and if you're DTD regularly then all the rest doesn't matter really as you can still get pg :) xxx

Hayleylou89 · 18/05/2020 11:24

@Renna ... i got my dh to pop it in first time as wrong as that sounds its not that much different from things u do anyway 🤦🏽‍♀️ so if he doesnt feel too uncomfortable doing it the ask him its honestly tiny the fert lily and so flexible xx

ttcin2020 · 18/05/2020 11:06

@Quail15 that looks like a strong line for a IC! Congratulations!! that’s amazing after trying for so long before xx

ttcin2020 · 18/05/2020 11:03

Hi all!
I posted a few times on the last thread. My last cycle was my first after the miscarriage, spotting started on CD43 with proper period flow a couple of days later.
According to tracking with ovulation strips and taking bbt (possibly not accurate due to awful insomnia) the spotting started on 10dpo.
Does anyone know if it mean I didn’t actually ovulate if my period started so soon after ovulation? Or is this just my body not quite back to normal after my miscarriage?
This month was 6 months since we began trying and I know it’s a small amount of time in the grand scheme of things but I’m feeling so disheartened by it all right now so the ovulation sticks, pregnancy tests and thermometer have been put away and the tracking apps deleted. I feel torn between knowing that it’s the right decision for my mental health to relax after all we’ve been through but also can’t shake the feeling of what if this month is our month but we didn’t do it at the right time? My partner is in agreement that I could do with a more relaxed approach for a little while but ultimately is as eager to make a baby as I am and is completely supportive of whichever option we go for.
I don’t know just hopeful that someone can say they took a month or two off from actively trying and felt better for it?

Thanks for reading.
Hope everyone is well x

Renna · 18/05/2020 10:51

Aw amazing @quail15 deffo a line there ! Tbh If you had a FRER I think youd get a stronger line as those cheapies arent very sensitive .. ! Not sure how much more sensitive the CBs are ? Deffo congratulations in order xxx and wow that is amazing getting BFP again so quickly after your attempts with your first xx well deserved for you 🌈😘 xxx
Do you think you were a bit more chilled with it because you kinda thought It'd would take a while again ?
Also please do tell us what you used and didnt use ... opks temping lubes vitamins?? so we can all take some hope or tips from you lol xxxxx

Quail15 · 18/05/2020 10:43

@Renna thank you 🙂 I really hope it is the start of something but it is so faint. I will take a clearblue test tomorrow and see if that has a stronger result.

To be honest I really wasn't expecting to get a positive so soon (just 2 months after MC) my DD took 4 years of fertility treatment with no sign of a natural bfp in that time. So after my surprise bfp and MC I was convinced it would be a lot longer.

Thank you for all your support.🤞 for everyone on this thread X x

Congrats @Quail15 Hopefully you'll get a stronger line as the days progress. I know what you mean about the excitement/ fear. After losing a baby in March this year I'll be exactly the same. Sending hugs and baby dust xxx try to enjoy it xxx

Re6ecc4 · 18/05/2020 10:36

Sadly I havent anything v exciting to say for myself right now as I'm firmly in the tww!

Re6ecc4 · 18/05/2020 10:35

Hey @Quail15 congrats! I hope it keeps getting stronger fro you ❤

Renna · 18/05/2020 10:31

Hey hun @quail15 I remember you from other thread :) amazing news on faint positive xx congratulations 🌈😘 I know you're still anxious but if theres a faint line there and AF is still not here even after potentially being due Saturday then these are really good signs xxx 🤞🌈 keep us updated on the stronger positive as I'm sure itll be there in a couple days ! Xxx

Quail15 · 18/05/2020 10:05

Hi everyone. Sorry for dipping in and out of these threads. I try and cut myself off from everything during the ttw to try and stop getting really stressed - plus work has been really busy (A&E). But it is so reassuring to read your posts when I get a spare minute.

So my af was due either last Saturday or this coming Wednesday - two different apps saying different things and my MC changed my cycle timings so I really have no idea when it is/was due. I was certain that I wouldn't test until the end of the week but I gave in this morning and it has come back as a very faint positive.

I now wish I hadn't done the test as I'm so anxious. I wish I had waited a few more days and got a stronger positive.
All I wanted was to see a positive test and part of me is excited - the other part is terrified 😬

Renna · 18/05/2020 09:45

@Hayleylou89 I didnt do any of these things when I got pg before which is probably a good thing or I'd deffo be the same lol like oo I felt that in my last pg .. I've been symptom spotting and all that a lot less this cycle and feel much better mentally this month and it's gone so much quicker. Last month I was going mad and the days dragged.

AF will be due around Thursday based on last months cycle or Friday based on cycles before that . So earliest I'd test is Friday or saturday if AF not arrived xxxxx hehe fingers crossed for your testing this week 🤞🤞 have a good feeling for you xxx

Hayleylou89 · 18/05/2020 09:40

@Renna I know i defo get prematurely excited over whats probably nothing but i did have this spongy feeling in my last pregnancy early on too but it did it last month for a day or so then changes to normal thickness again so not to get too excited.

Yeah 6 dpo today ... what about u? Xx you will be testing this week wont u xx Id say for me testing thursday with a cheapy is probably going to happen 😂 xx

Renna · 18/05/2020 09:39

@Hayleylou89 well I was thinking as I'm not sure I'm gonna be great at putting it in ... as I struggle with tampons without applicators.. if I'm not lucky this month and I get a cup I may try practice when it arrives so I'll probs need a bit of lube when I'm practicing I guess? 😂 as I imagine its easier to put in when you're all wet after DTD .. 😁 x

Renna · 18/05/2020 09:36

@Hayleylou89 I dont pay for the femometer app but you can upgrade it and pay for it to like analyse everything for you but I've never done this.
I use the femometer cheaply opks but I'm pretty sure I've seen people using other ones that are green and using the app so I think you can xx download the free version and have a play around . You can upload old pics of your IC if you have pics or screen shots of them and you can try ? Xx
I think it also may let you put in previous readings so if you're not lucky this month you could spend some time inputting your data so it knows your cycles better xxx

Hha I do feel my cervix now and again but dont really know what I'm looking for and why am bothering tbh as it just feels different all the time and I see no pattern 😂 Sometomes it feels spongy all in there sometimes it feels harder. I got excited like few days before AF last month as everything went proper spongey but obvs meant nothing to me . My cervix doesnt seem to follow the norm of what they say it should do ... so not a good indicator for me 😂
🤞 it's a good sign for you 🤞🌈🤞 you're now like 6dpo arent you ? Xxx

Hayleylou89 · 18/05/2020 09:34

@Rennathe ferti lily is fab u cnt even feel a thing and u dnt need lube to put it in ... is that what u talking about? Xx

Hayleylou89 · 18/05/2020 09:27

@Bellabubble @Renna @VP91

Its annoying isnt it!! ... think ill change to femometer app but then it will take a while to get used to my strange cycles ... how stupid that it doesnt take into account the fact iv said i got a positive ovulation test?? Is fermomter app free as i pay for nc app 🙄... I think it saying i ovulated on wednesday was wrong as i had all the pains on the tuesday following a peak on monday but this morning my temp jumped a bit and it changed it to friday... i was like 😏😏 also do u have to use the femomtre sticks or can u use the ic's with the app? X

Ps: anyone still feeling their cervix ... inside my V walls feel all spongy is this a thing?? Its getting me excited as they have been like this for a few days now i can hardly feel my cervix cos its like a bouncy castle inside 😂😂
