BBT still above coverline after bleed. Help?

Evening all.

I am looking for some advice and opinions please. This is my first month tracking bbt but it hasn’t dropped before AF when I expected it to.

CD19 - Ovulation according to clear blue monitor
12DPO - very very faint line. Brown spotting.
13DPO - another faint line. Heavy dark red bleeding. Assumed AF or chemical pregnancy loss.
14DPO - brown spotting, no red.
15DPO - light brown spotting. Faint line, looks darker than before but still stupidly faint.

I’m really confused and unsure as to what could be happening.

Any help would be appreciated.

The drs just said to go to A&E if I experience any pain but other than that they didn’t have much to say about it. She actually said I know more than she does... sigh. Anyway, I don’t have any symptoms. Maybe mild cramps if I think about it but very mild.

Thank you, I'm going to try soy next month for ovulation, if I could bring that to under CD20 I would feel better.

It's the massively long wait till ovulation which makes it even harder

@AnxiousAnnie86 it could be a good thing that you had so much EWCM and if you dtd in that period then that’s good! Keep your chin up and I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed tightly for you

@kcf90 I'm 6 or 7dpo I think, no symptoms or anything, boobs aren't evening hurting yet, I will get AF ON 15dpo that is the only thing that is absolutely consistent for me,

Temps still going up, but I think this cycle is the least positive I have ever felt that it might take, even though we DTD more then ever in fertile period. I had ten days of high fertility with EWCM, then five more days of peak with it, just got a bad feeling :( x

@AnxiousAnnie86 Yeah exactly; we just don’t know what’s going on with our bodies and can’t seem to get any answers. Everyone is so different so there is nothing to compare against.

I just want someone to look at all my cycles, info etc and tell me if there are any problems.

I mentioned to my dr about 2 tiny spots on my cervix and she wasn’t even bothered. She just seems to think I’m a hypochondriac!

I am just so panicky at the moment.

Where are you at this cycle? Xx

@kcf90 I know what you mean, I always say to my husband if I had regular predictable cycles I wouldn't feel at such a loss with it all, I had ovulation on cd16 a few months ago then it was Cd32 the one after! It just makes it feel impossible to track! I would say keep going with opks they will show your peak and then maybe you can form some sort of pattern with temping x

Although, Just looking back, the cycle before last I started testing on cycle day 13 and it was high for 9 days before peak. Maybe if I’d have done day 10 that month then it would have been higher for longer?

Other months I only have 2 or 3 high days before peak.

I phoned the drs again this morning and she said try ringing again in 4 weeks for a referral xx

I just did an OPK and it came up as a 0.25 so not high. I don’t know why the machine has gone high today, I’ve usually been able to rely on it xx

I’m on cycle day 10 and never had a high result on the machine this early. I’ve been doing opks in the afternoon so will test later today. I just don’t understand it all anymore :( I’m feeling so lost and deflated xx

@kcf90 what Cd are you on now? Could you just be ovulating early? It deffo looked like you had a rise? But could be wrong....

So I’m even more confused today. My clear blue monitor has said my fertile window is high today. Which is far earlier than other months. My temp also rose again.

I’m still doubting my pre-ovulation temps and wondering if ovulation even occurred for me last month and I just temped wrong given it’s still high :( xx

I’ve tried to speak with my gp and she says that I know more than she does and that I just need to wait to be referred to the fertility clinic :( it’s been such a frustrating journey.

Thanks for the advice regarding baby aspirin. I have seen good and bad things about it but it does say speak to your dr before taking it. Given she is no use I’m reluctant to try it until I see the fertility clinic. I’ll definitely ask the question when u can though thank you :) xx

@kcf90 sorry to hear you are feeling like that. :-(

Your cycles do look to be irregular so maybe a conversation with your GP will help put your mind at ease if they can confirm ovulation with an ultrasound etc?

I was speaking with my sister yesterday. She has 2 children but experienced several miscarriages in between having her first and second. She swore by taking something called 'baby aspirin' and was sure that's what stopped her having chemical pregnancies / miscarrying. It's something to do with thinning the blood to stop any potential clots which are causing problems very early on?

I know it might not be helpful at all as everyone is completely different but could be worth giving it a go one month? Xxx

@AnxiousAnnie86 I think I’m just beyond worried about everything. My cycles are all over the place (I’ve attached a photo), I am certain I’ve had about 3 or 4 chemical pregnancies. I just want to be referred now 😭

@kcf90 your chart deffo confirms ovulation last month! So don't worry about that!!

@kcf90 I just looked back over my other cycles and it always seems to stay over cover line until I get my flashing smiley on CB ADVANCE, which would make sense as thats when estrogen starts to rise which lowers your temp x

@AnxiousAnnie86 ah yes that makes me feel better. Was panicking I didn’t even ovulate last month and just did it all wrong. Still odd it’s remained above the coverline the whole time! Yeah I take it at the same time, I have an alarm set. It’s a bit annoying haha. If I wake up early then I take my temp and use a website to scale it to 7.30am. And I stay in bed and don’t move, test again at 7.30 and it’s always pretty close to what the website predicted xx

@kcf90 it may stay up for w while, mine tends to stay high until about a week before my next ovulation? Are you doing temp as soon as you wake up at the same time everyday? X

@ttcgee thank you. I hope your temp starts to show a pattern of some sort, it’s an interesting tool (when it works).

I just feel very fed up at the moment. Think I need to stop hcg testing. Move onto OPKs instead xx

@kcf90 sorry to hear you are having a hard time. :-( it's so frustrating when you read about what should be happening then your body seems to be the only one not playing ball.

I started temping this month and mine has been all over the show! Literally dropping then up like a yo-yo. I know it feels awful but we just have to try and stay positive - it will happen xxx

Urgh that posted by accident.

I did get a faint positive on one test yday but I think it was an evap. Zilch today. I also did an frer and that was stark white. So fed up of this journey and terrified it’ll never happen xx

@Moominmiss hey! Thank you ever so much for the recommendation, it’s definitely something I’ll look into and ask my dr about. I’m so pleased it worked for you, long cycles make this journey so much harder so hopefully now it’ll happen much quicker for you.

I’m still so nervous with trying things like that, I wish I wasn’t as I read good things about it but I am scared to mess things up and make my cycle worse.

My temp has dropped again today but still above coverline. It wouldn’t be like this if pregnant so I’m giving up thinking there is a chance, it’ll likejj I y drop below tomorrow.

@AnxiousAnnie86 well I hope you see an improvement like I did. Granted I’ve only taken them for one cycle so far, but to see such a difference straight away was amazing so I’ll be trying them again next cycle! I think 3-7 seems a good choice, and sort of the middle ground. Not too much risk of producing multiple eggs, but enough time to produce mature healthy eggs, and taken early enough to bring ovulation forward.
So I take the tescos ones which contain 40mg of soy isoflavones per tablet. I will be taking 4 tablets (160mg) on cd3 and cd4, then I will up to 5 tablets (200mg) on cd5, 6, and 7.
