Hi, I know there are lots of these threads, but thought I would start a new one for anyone new to mumsnet (like me) and doesn’t know which thread to try and join.

I’m 28 years old and I’m on cycle 6. I’m now 6 DPO.

Please anyone feel free to join; it’s nice to have others to go through it with.

I don’t plan on testing til at least when AF is due, can be arsed with the disappointment!

@bumphope2020 me! I'm 9dpo.. But I've been testing with cheapies anyway 😂 I don't think I've got a long lp so might get af tomorrow anyway..

Congratulations @kim160790. Keeping my fingers crossed this is a lucky thread.

Is anyone else planning on testing in the next couple of days. I'm only 8 dpo but Frers should be arriving tomorrow so I might not be able to resist.

OH accidentally picked the wrong test up (one from missed period instead of early response and got a darker line than yesterday 🥰 fingers crossed it sticks! 3 days until AF was/is due so will keep my legs crossed til then. Good luck everyone hope you all have BFPs very soon!!

@Rhall26 😂 I'm just weak.. Have loads of cheapie ones so will most likely check daily.. Don't really have a lot of symptoms.. Sore nipples and tired. But I could be tired because of not doing a lot due to the lockdown..
Does anyone here track bbt?

@Pol96 don’t give up hope; plenty of time to still get that BFP this cycle! It’s so difficult not to cave and test early though 😂

thanks @whambam89 just worried it'll be a bfn as I was super convinced I was likely pregnant last month (was obviously wrong!). Going to try and leave it a few days in case I'm just late :/

@batmanbaby you should get a bfp even without fmu if you're officially late now - good luck!

@bumphope2020 Yes! Been using it for the past few months now. I usually just log my symptoms/ovulation etc and ignore the other bits 😁

Does anyone else use Ovia and absolutely hate it when it tells you your symptoms are completely normal for the time in your cycle?!? Angry

@KSI88 I'm 32, it's silly but sometimes I get worried I'm not fertile enough anymore, even though I know I'm not actually that old!

@Rhall26 We did similar to SMEP this month too actually. It was so easy with our first child 6 years ago. First attempt and I got my BFP! You start to over-analyse things when it doesn't happen quickly! I'm 32 this year so I'm not old and more and more women are having babies into their 40's now. I do know that when I do get to hold my baby in my arms I'll never take that little bundle for granted...

Thanks @KSI88 so scared I'll get a BFN though...going to try and hold on until tomorrow and use FMU. Still no sign of my period and none of my usal pms...but don't want to get my hopes up :(

Still no period for me this morning. Can't test though as I was woken up by my daughter in the middle of the night, and so had a wee while I was up :( I believe I'm officially late now though

@KSI88 me too. I’ve read about the SMEP too which I might try, but it’s similar to what we did this month. It’s bizarre/frustrating the things we have to try to get our baby - some people make it sound so natural and easy.

I’m going to try not to early test this month; instead, waiting to be late which would be Tuesday 19th May (but I’ll probably cave). What about you?

@KSI88 I bought one of those too, but couldn’t bring myself to use it 😂

@Lovebug06 same here with the no symptoms. My OH keeps saying to think positively, but it’s difficult when everyone around you seems to get pregnant quickly. We won’t know for sure till AF arrives (or hopefully doesn’t!)
