Hey guys

My partner and I had unprotected sex last Saturday, today I’ve had cramping (not like period pain) sort of twitching and a dull ache! Also feel shattered and urinating frequently! Is 7 days after sex (was my ovulation date last Saturday) 9 days before period too soon?

@J0DI3 if you can wait til AF due it's preferable as more likely to be accurate. I can never wait that long though! X Grin

Well funny thing is am still waiting for period to return after giving birth so can't really be leftover blood otherwise would think so too! With son I really thought was about to come on as had usual symptoms of cramps and hormonal skin but then got really emotional over something small and thought to do a test, it was negative 10 days po but tried again the following day and it was positive which was over the moon about. Fingers crossed this is our month for all of us! X

@Marrilou ahh bless you! Sending you baby dust! Wonder if the pink discharge was just left over period blood though that would be dark black colour ? very strange ! you never know maybe you implanted very quickly and it was implantation bleeding? this is the first month we’ve stopped using protection but not actively trying and I’m so nervous ! What were your symptoms like with baby no 1 ?

@J0DI3 ah bless you! Our first attempt too really without protection ! It’s all very scary! I would say I’ve read First Response Early Response is the best test! I think it’s best to test after missed period ? X

Hello ladies, I’m hoping to jump on as I’m currently 9DPO and my AF is due Friday 15th! This is my first attempt so I’m not holding much hope as to be honest I really didn’t understand how this works at first 😂 I have no idea which test to use when it comes to it and is it best to test after AF is due? X

Yes actively ttc, have a baby but it took a year to conceive him and am 38. Would love him to have a sibling close in age! Have been using Clear Blue ovulation sticks so know for sure when I ovulate. Had forgotten how hard this 2WW business is!! Had some pink discharge 4 days po (sorry for tmi) but not sure why? Tried googling but said too early for implantation bleeding which was disappointed about. Apparently implantation would likely be happening now so was cheered to feel a bit of cramping. So hard not to over read symptoms isn't it! X

Hiii @Marrilou please don’t apologise, the more the merrier :) oh my goodness me too I’ve been such a miserable person the last week crying at everything forgot to mention that part!! Are you actively trying? yes I will use first response x

Hi hope ok to jump on! I ovulated last Friday so now 8 days post ovulation and also feel a bit crampy and needing to urinate a lot. As well as this am feeling a bit cranky today so don't know if pmt or something else? Due on next Friday 15th; going to try resisting doing a pregnancy test til Tuesday when will be 11 days po as last time was pregnant this was earliest got a positive result! Are you going to use one of the first response tests? I'm thinking will order some from Amazon x

Oh I see maybe my minds playing tricks on me too but I’m having a small drink and going for a wee every 20 minutes and it’s a proper wee it’s not like nothing comes out so not sure I am convincing myself ! My breasts aren’t tender however they’re implants due to a condition I had growing up so think it might effect me differently? yes just a “if it happens, it happens” approach now we’re in the right place to have a baby but not actively trying! How about you? X

OP posts:
heretobeanonymous · 09/05/2020 20:26

I think it is possible but very rare, that's why I try to tell myself that it's my mind tricking me into something that isn't real! Yes i believe it would've happened then or just after. No, no other symptoms other than cramps/pains and slightly tender breasts. Were you trying or was it just a 'if it happens, it happens' kind of approach? x

Superstar41 · 09/05/2020 20:22

@heretobeanonymous mine are exactly the same !! haha no I haven’t tried to test yet I’m due on the 18th - is it ever possible to have the symptoms we’re experiencing this soon? I ovulated last Saturday when we had sex so It conception were to happen it would’ve then? you finding yourself urinating more ??

My cycles are normally between 27-28days. The 2WW is killing me, I have to keep telling myself to not test! Have you tried to test? I think I will try around Wednesday to Friday as AF is due on the 17th or 18th! Eeeek fingers crossed for us Grin

Superstar41 · 09/05/2020 20:10

@heretobeanonymous oh bless you! how longs your cycle typically? I don’t know , I hope so but I’m thinking my mind might be tricking me as you said !! do you have any other symptoms ? X

Hi! I'm exactly the same. Ovulated Saturday/Sunday. It's so annoying. I've had cramps in my left ovaries the past few days and just cramps overall. I think it may be my mind tricking me though Sad do you think you might be experiencing implantation?
