9 days before period ? Symptoms

Hey guys

My partner and I had unprotected sex last Saturday, today I’ve had cramping (not like period pain) sort of twitching and a dull ache! Also feel shattered and urinating frequently! Is 7 days after sex (was my ovulation date last Saturday) 9 days before period too soon?

@Marrilou hello! oh bless you , are you excited for the next month?? AF hasn't turned up for me yet but she's due tomorrow so we will see! I don't feel pregnant so think I'm also out xx

Well AF arrived yesterday, feel ok about it as at least means cycles are back on track, just hope next month it happens! Have just read sperm meets egg plan which was free to download on Amazon, was a quick read (finished before got out of bath!), am going to adopt this approach next month so fingers crossed! How are you feeling now? X

Ah , are you not feeling positive ? I feel the same got really bad cramps today so would say I'm out :'( xx

Was 11dpo yesterday which know is early but that is when I got my bfp last time. If AF doesn't arrive on Friday will test again but reckon she will. Fingers crossed next cycle will be the one. Good plan to leave testing as long as possible! Are you going to order some online? X

@Marrilou how many dpo are you ? Not out until AF turns up! I will do :) trying to hang on as long as possible without testing! I don't have any in the house and am scared to go out at the minute so trying to stop myself! Feel very sick this morning don't fancy anyrhing to eat! But I don't feel very positive x

Well I've just done an early detection test and was bfn so reckon that's me out this month but good luck with your test @Superstar41! Let us know how you get on x

@sachaf08 ah bless you! Surely someone can't say to you that you cannot have a child there especially if the circumstances don't change? I think that's terrible ! at the end of the day what's a baby going to do to a house ?!

That's what I've got ! How long does implantation take as I've had this feeling for 2-3 days!
I don't have any tests ready yet , I will order some:)

@Superstar41 Thank you- I'm alright, it's all a bit scary not knowing how restrictions will evolve with the virus etc but guess we all just need to go with the flow. Also we live in a 1 bed flat at the moment, no children allowed so hoping it'll be possible to move in a few months! I'm a classical singer/singing teacher so all my work is from home at the moment anyway(what little there is of it!)

I had a phone appointment this morning, the doc was v reassuring and told me to book in with a midwife for around the 9 week mark. Just need to get there now!

Yes mine was sort of middle right as well, not sure if that means the egg has come from right ovary? See how it progresses and try to stay calm in the run up to AF date! It seems like there can be so many symptoms and nothing is ever consistent/the same as what someone else has experienced. Have you got any tests ready?

@sachaf08 I don't either !! I keep having a weird cramp on my lower right hand side like it's being tugged at ! Very strange not had it before !! Good luck love, hope everything goes perfect! How are you finding it with the current situation? Have you booked in with a doctor yet ? X

@Superstar41 no problem, I was pretty confused because I never have cramps quite so early before a period, usually only 1-3 days before. I'm still only 4+2 so I'm right at the start of all this! Confused keeping everything crossed for you, will check back in to see how you're doing xx

@sachaf08 thank you so much for replying :) that's what I am having cramps every few hours randomly and still 7 days until AF due ! I won't get my hopes up but I hope it's true :) we will see x

@Superstar41 I don't want to get your hopes up, but just wanted to say it is possible to have symptoms that early, I had cramps and nausea exactly a week after when I think conception must have been, and then a few days later CB digital showed 1-2. I had assumed AF was on the way, it was like period cramps but very intermittent, maybe every couple of hours. Fingers crossed for you!

@Marrilou I feel exactly the same ! Hard to stay positive isn't it ! one thing I have noticed is (TMI ) sorry - on the toilet a lot ? I feel like if I was pregnant I would be constipated ?

Ooh okay not long then! I have to wait until next Monday :( is this baby #1 you're trying for ?

Yeah know how you feel, think closer it gets to coming on, more despondent I feel, as if mentally bracing myself for the disappointment. Am due on on Friday, what about you? Yeah think will do that with the testing, seem to remember got first positive when tested after work last time so maybe can be better later in the day! X

I'm also 10dpo tomorrow , when is AF due ?

I have always heard and been told FMU but I've read that too! Maybe tomorrow test FMU and next day SMU to see ? :) x

Yeah think that is a symptom though don't recall noticing it myself!
I'm only 10dpo today so will be more accurate tomorrow. However have been reading that a lot of people think SecondMU better to test with than FMU so now not sure which to use?! What do you think? X

@Marrilou hiya ah that's ok thought how many days dpo! Probably too early :)

Just keep having twitching and dull aches as well as my areolas look bigger is that a symptom??

Trying to wait to see if AF comes before testing but feel like the dull ache would've gone by now if it was implantation :(

So did an internet cheapie test this morning, not even a hint of a line though know it's a bit early, will try with a first response test tomorrow. How are you doing @Superstar41? Any more symptoms? X

Thank you! The time just drags doesn't it, so frustrating! Going to try and wait til Tuesday to do a test but may well cave and do one Monday which would be 10dpo. Will let you know how get on! Sending you lots of baby dust xx

Haha fingers crossed for you lovely! Keep us updated ?? A week PO ok that’s about where I am now so not too strange then ! aha bless you, I’m hoping my few days of being an emotional wreck could mean something as I only get emotional the week of my period not before ! So rather odd x

Yeah I read that too so hoping to take advantage of extra fertile window while it lasts!! Last time I started feeling crampy/hormonal about a week po so based on my experience I wouldn't say it's too way for you to be experiencing symptoms. However I really thought I was out as often felt that way when was about to come on - it's so annoying that the symptoms are so similar! The only difference for me was crying when goldfish died which def wouldn't have normally done - that's what alerted me really! X

Oh I see !! Blimey, I hear it’s much easier to fall pregnant after giving birth?? Fingers crossed for you! I’ve been vile for the past week crying over photos of babies the lot so somethings not right , I’ve never done that before and felt so desperate for a child it’s strange for me! Would you say now is too soon for symptoms to show then? Frequent urination etc ?
