Hi Ladies,

So we seem to be absolutely hammering through our May Bus 2 thread. My gosh we can chat! But you have been vital to my sanity this cycle ❤️❤️❤️ I've tagged as many as i can think of at the end of a working week 🤯 please tag the others as I absolutely haven't the brain power!

@Hopefulmummie did you do lh tests alongside your bbt? From your chart it doesn't look like femometer as confirmed ovulation yet, but if bbt stays high it would look like you ovulated today, how long are your cycles normally?

@Franklydear If AF doesn't show this weekend I'll test Sunday that is 15dpo which I'm feeling is a point where I'll trust the test is right and just accept the answer but I'm expecting my period like clockwork on Saturday night/ Sunday morning 🤷🏾‍♀️

The only thing with finding out my egg had been fertilised is the blame id put on myself if it didn't implant, something kinda calming about not knowing where it's going wrong.

@MrsEmilyB OH came home from work with a Pyrex container for me to take my lunch in, so I can get rid of the plastic tubs, he does try to work with my neurosis 🤗 hope the headache is better after a painkiller xx

@Sausage1990 - its horrific isn't it. And because of covid I can't even travel to see the homeopath or acupuncturist which is what is recommended during pregnancy for migraines. Hopefully I don't get many when PG! A lot of ladies seem to say their headaches go when they get PG.

I've caved and taken paracetamol. I only had some with caffeine so I've had over the RDA of caffeine but I figure that's better than a massive dose of aspirin. Currently got an ice pack working it's magic

@Franklydear I keep wanting to test but you are motivating me to stay strong... I originally said I'd wait until the 22nd but this is slowly creeping forward, I have no will power anymore plus feel like I should get my first BFN out of the way and then it won't be such a hurdle each month 😩

@lorylondon I totally agree they are missing a test in this ttc lark, we definitely need a fertilisation test - one you take like 2dpo to see if the egg has been fertilised and if you're even in with a chance of pregnancy starting, or whether you can just do all your non-pregnancy stuff for the next week 😂

@Franklydear @MrsEmilyB I’m so glad it’s not just me then! I know what you mean, within days of having my implant out I felt like a teenager all over again and it really woke me up to actually what an impact hormonal contraceptives has!

In regards to your comment about your OH picking up on it, tbh my DH has a fairly high sex drive anyway but he can definitely tell and even uttered ‘oh no’ (in a joking way) last night because he knew what was coming 🤣

@Fluffkins14 - I don't consciously hold it so I imagine it was only 2 hour urine! I pee lots. I'd test 2-4 hourly if its getting darker. I was so surprised to get a positive OPK on CD21, I'm usually CD17 ish for the OPK and CD 18 to ovulate

@nemobear7 that's interesting... I've been so headache these last 2 days and feeling queasy. It turned into a migraine last night and continued with the muzzy head today.

Tbh @MrsEmilyB I ended up taking my normal pain killers (ibuprofen & codeine combo pill ) yesterday because it was so unbearable but it made me think... I am prone to cyclical migraines around ovulation and just before af but what if pregnancy makes them worse? Or more frequent? I mean I'm not assuming I am now I'm just thinking in general 🤔

How do people manage migraine and pregnancy when you can't take painkillers?! Horrific

@RobinRose what are your cheap OPKs saying? Are the lines getting darker? I've just done 2 different cheapies and look nearly positive so going to try the clearblue. I want to give up but feel there is hope it's a late ovulation like @MrsEmilyB

@MrsEmilyB on CD21 did you hold your urine just 2hours? I've attached a pic on my OPKs one from 11am and one from 3.30pm, should I test every couple of hours now? I'm worried I'm going to miss my surge! Thank you for your reply x

I think so, I'm also coming down with a headache and I ovulated yesterday/the day before that

@MrsEmilyB I think it must be. That’s the reason I took a pregnancy test with my DD. I woke up with a terrible headache/migraine and felt a bit queasy. Had a BFP later that day.

@Fluffkins14 - sure thing! Here you go ❤️ my Cycles are usually 31 days and I ovulated so late this time around!

Does anyone know if migraines after ovulation is a thing? I have had a progressively worse headache turning into a migraine since yesterday morning. I usually take a mega 900mg dose of aspirin but I can't because of TTC. I usually get them the day before AF but I'm only 3dpo ish.

Woke up tired and feeling foggy. Have cramps, but more on the left. I’m 2dpo, I think, so it must mean nothing, but my god, it’s easy to read into! What else do you consider a very early pregnancy symptom? I need more boxes to tick/ignore as I see fit! And why oh why hasn’t someone invented a very early pregnancy test? We’re making medical breakthroughs all the time! (Though, I suppose, we wouldn’t get to have this lovely 2w natter if we all knew straight after dtd!)
