Pregnancy after MMC

Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately I had a MMC on our second pregnancy last month. (I have a 1 year old)
I should of been 9 weeks at my Scan but baby was only 8 weeks 4 so it had just happened. 3 days later I had a private D&C as I didn’t want to risk the hospital/ the trauma of dealing with it at home with my little boy.
I had bleeding on and off for 2 weeks after (6th of April was the D&C) I had regular bloody tests, my last one my HCG had come down to 70 so 3 days later I got my first negative test.
I had an internal to confirm no retained pregnancy and was given the all clear to try again straight away. I’ve had cystitis this weekend to add to my problems and now I’m getting this on my tests. Had anyone experienced anything similar, what are your thoughts? Feel like my body’s just giving up on me haha! I’d love to be pregnant again but I’d just be surprised if it could all happen within such a small time scale
Thanks everyone

Hey ladies, I'm 7+5 and symptoms well and truly kicked in. So so nauseas day and night. Really struggling to find anything I want to eat. Im living on soup and chocolate rice cakes. And im just so tired! I feel so lazy but just making the beds in the morning is taking it out of me. 😴
How are you feeling @Bells993? Im sticking to my word and not having an early scan. Im dreading the 12 week one so the thought of going to any others is just too much. 🙈😂

@msanne hope you're ok? Remember cramping is very normal. I had lots when I was pg with dd but ive not had much this time. Only cramping ive really had was 4-5 weeks!

@Frankincense88 its shit. It really is but pick yourself up and try again. It's the absolute hardest thing in the world to go through, all of us on here can vouch for that and each month that goes by is heartbreaking but it's all worth it in the end.
I dont think covid has helped with regards with. I dread to think what my daily steps have been for the past 3 months. Before that I was running here there and everywhere and barely sat down all day at work. Don't be too hard on yourself. ❤🙏 xxx

msanne · 08/07/2020 11:13

@Bells993 - doing ok - symptoms have kicked in. Feel nauseous all the time and the sporadic cramping is quite painful too. This is what is worrying me the most tbh. I am umming and ahhing about calling the EPU - I might do by Friday if it isn't any better.

I did do a CB this morning and it has shown a 3+ weeks - so hopefully, a good indicator that my HCG is increasing in line with how far along I am. 5 weeks until my scan - eeeek - scared and excited!!!

How are you doing? Good thing that your hospital are arranging an early scan for you - it will give you some respite I am sure.

Sending you all lots of love xoxo

Bells993 · 08/07/2020 10:24

How’s everyone doing @msanne @MrsTtobe @MrsBlue1986 Any symptoms yet? I spoke to. Y doctor yesterday and she’s going to arrange a scan next week think I’ll be 5 basically 6 weeks just to check everything’s in the right place, confirm everything’s okay so far.

@Frankincense88 how many days is your AF normally? Next month gives you a lovely Easter baby so fingers crossed for you! Have you tried the keto diet, I’ve found that really good in the past.

@Leaf87 how you holding up? Xxx

Frankincense88 · 06/07/2020 13:07

@msanne hey! I posted yesterday AF arrived yesterday morning. Going to give it another month I think then take a break and concentrating on losing a bit of weight which might help xxxxx

msanne · 06/07/2020 09:53

@Frankincense88 - what was the result this morning?! Sending you lots of positive vibes! xoxo

msanne · 05/07/2020 12:09

@Bells993 - AMAZING!! Congratulations! Your waiting has paid off and now you can cherish each minute of it - who knew that we would feel good about feeling nauseous eh?!

@Frankincense88 - I've got everything crossed for you - I hope it is good news too xoxo

@Leaf87 - hope you're doing good hun? Not long until you can get going again too....xoxo

@MrsTtobe - how are you feeling? I am starting to feel more symptoms but overall can't complain.

Sending you all lots of hugs and love xoxo

Bells993 · 05/07/2020 09:09

Thank you! @MrsTtobe Did another one this morning and it was only a little bit different to the one yesterday. Bit worrying but I guess it’s in the early days @MrsTtobe how are you getting on?

@Frankincense88 ahh I’m so sorry 😩😭 soul destroying. Try and stay positive and please don’t give up. I know it’s pressure but when you get your positive which you will soon it will all be worth it. Stay strong! Your obviously very regular so hopefully next month Will be your lucky month xxxxx

AF arrived for me this morning ladies. Gutted. We've decided to actively 'try' for one more cycle then if it doesn't happen we're going to stop for a few months because it's too much pressure and disappointment. 7th time lucky?! Xoxo

MrsTtobe · 05/07/2020 08:45

Aaarrrggghhhhhh only just saw this! @Bells993 amazing news. So so so happy for you and yes time to take that great advice you gave me now. Keep calm, try to enjoy it and take each day as it comes. Xx

Frankincense88 · 04/07/2020 11:31

@bells993 I'm basically testing everyday - BFN again this morning but I had a pinkish tinge last night after I went to the loo so thought I might see something this morning but nothing. Symptom wise nothing to indicate AF or a BFP so guess I'll test until Monday and see. 12DPO today with AF due anytime between now and Monday. Make sure you're resting this weekend!! xxx

Bells993 · 04/07/2020 10:15

Thanks @Frankincense88 @Leaf87 that’s the first hurdle as we told @MrsTtobe time to take my own advice now!

Hoping for some good news for you two next! When are you testing @frankincense18 ? I had nothing at all till today!

@leaf87 this must be torture for you :( the end is near for you! Xxxx

Hey ladies, congrats @MrsBlue1986 fantastic news.
@Frankincense88 @Bells993 rooting for you girls.
@Leaf87 get July out of the way, keep busy and it will soon be time to get down to business.

@msanne ive not had too much stretching. Had a few cramps but nothing too noticeable. Completely gone off food in general - so unlike me.😂 Also this time im having major digestion issues. Wind in all forms 🙈😂 and im going from constipation to diarrhoea in the space of a day. 😳 x

msanne · 02/07/2020 08:11

@MrsBlue1986 - yes that is totally normal! I've felt that my cramping and stretching is getting progressively stronger as the days go by. I also feel super bloated and gassy (which isn't fun)!

I'm on tenterhooks ladies for more testing ladies! xoxo

MrsBlue1986 · 01/07/2020 20:24

Thanks @Leaf87 !!!
Congrats @msanne also! Thats great!

I am just hoping to god mine sticks!!! My period is technically due tomorrow so hoping that doesn't come anyway haha. Im so worried about another chemical!!!

Im 13DPO and have constant nagging groin pulling pain, anyone else have this!?!? Dont remember rhis last time... xx

Frankincense88 · 01/07/2020 11:34

@bells993 @leaf87 9DPO for me today, did a cheapie teat last night to get it out of my system and BFN for me too but I'll try and hold out now until the weekend! Trying not to symptom spot but I was fast asleep at 8pm last night after a 3 day headache! Think it's just the weather / work knackering me out though! Will maybe test again Friday but ideally if I've got the strength (ha) will hold out until Sunday. We got this @bells993 xxx

Leaf87 · 01/07/2020 08:46

@MrsBlue1986 amazing news fingers crossed all goes well for you 💜
@Bells993 don't feel down it could still happen i shall keep my fingers crossed for you!
@msanne I am glad your taking things slowly, your right you just need to take each day as it comes and look after yourself!
@Frankincense88 any updates...... not long until you can start testing now!

I am here on the count down.... next test due at charringcross on the 20th so slowly wishing the month away. Back in work next week so that will help!
Have a good Wednesday all

Bells993 · 01/07/2020 08:38

Congratulations @MrsBlue1986 amazing news!

BFN for me today at 10DPO :( don’t know why I do it to myself! I’ll wait till Friday now I guess. Try and test every 2/3 days from now so I don’t waste loads of tests. Unless AF shows. Not due on till the 5/6th

How are you all?

Xxx
