& hey @Runnergirl1! I’m close to you cycle wise I’m CD6 & no idea when due to ovulate. Sorry you are finding it repetitive- do you use something like preseed to stop being sore? We’ve found it’s just damn good lube!

@KRK05 from what I gather from other ladies (Cos I haven’t got a high yet either) when they get a high they then test upto 3 times a day Every 4 hours from around 12pm to try to catch the surge to be sure.

Needing a bit of help girls so obviously my AF hasnt appeared, I've tested & BFN & I am 100% positive I'm not pregnant anyway, I just feel nothing like AF is gonna come so I've decided to start using my OPKs so I'm not wasting time really. This is my first time using them so I'm a newbie 🙈 I just done this one at around 5ish tonight & obviously I do understand that the second line needs to be as dark as or darker to be positive, but my question is the line on mines I've put in 2 apps premom & Femometer & been recognised as high, should I test more than once a day incase I'm going to ovulate? Or is this common around AF time & just keep testing once. I'm so confused cause really I should have AF. Just need a few pointers really cause I'm so new to OPKs & I think its cause I feel my cycle is a bit messed up so I have no clue where I am in it.

I’m in. Currently cd4. Can’t wait to get going again but like you have all been saying. We just seem to have lots of quickies to ‘get it over with’. I can’t lie there isn’t anything fun about trying to make babies lol. It used to be very romantic and now it’s just a quickie every other day haha it’s hard work and with long cycles I end up very sore towards the end haha x

I've never actually missed an AF before but it has been late by about 2/3 days in the past from what I can remember, I've never really had to like think about it being late except now. I've not had any signs been feeling fine tbh, DTD last night & night before hoping that would bring on AF but nope 😂 I've given up all hope shes appearing cause of the no signs so that's why I'm just gonna do OPKs so I dont miss anything 🙈 should order some cheapies to do just incase. Were like cycle twins justnow 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

@Spinningthewheel we're only a couple of cycles in so it's all quite new still, so I guess I'm trying to find what works best. Maybe I'll try making an effort and the blunt approach this month to see which works best?! 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ I know what you mean about exhausting though, sometimes it can feel like you're in it on your own.

@KRK05 oh my god where is AF?! 😂😩 I'm on CD29 now. Have you ever missed one before? My CB tests came today! But with you on not breaking those out until the time is right haha. I felt like signs of AF keep coming and going, I was sure she was going to make an appearance this morning but still nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️ have you had any signs? X

@KateColx My AF hasnt appeared still either so CD31 which seems so weird 🙈 I've decided I'm gonna start doing my cheapy OPKs just incase I'm having a wonky month & missing my AF 🤷🏼‍♀️ definitely not breaking out the CB though as much as I want to but I dont want to try it until after AF cause I think that's when it works best. How u feeling? I've never wanted my AF to just come so much 😂

@Marshmallow123 I am on CD6 too! Though no idea when I ovulate if indeed I do so we may be around the same time! We may DTD every other day or we are currently doing what @Spinningthewheel said up there “get your sleek in me quick” having just had a quickie at lunch (totally not realising a window was open & DH said the postie is on the doorstop!” which is 3 days running now! & looking at my femometer calendar it goes “3days running...then AF...then 3 days running again 😂(so far!)” both of us will be too knackered at this rate 😬

@KateColx we’ll see how long it lasts, the-get-in-here-and-give-me-your-sperm-method might lose its shine after a few months! the pressure to keep it interesting must be hard, I’d been struggling with that for a while due to DP seeming less than interested, exhausting. But as long as you enjoy it too it’s worth the effort.

@minster2012 not sure about CD as I haven’t had a proper period yet, just a withdrawal bleed. If I pretend the withdrawal bleed is a period then I’m CD11. Hope your body is getting ready for action again too, sounds like your OH is raring to go

@Spinningthewheel I almost spat my tea out reading that 😂 I'm far too polite at work. Problem is, if I tell her where to F off to (politely or not) she'll probably announce to everyone in ear shot that I must be pregnant.

I'm on CD6 now so DH and I planning to DTD every other day.

I've been using Natural Cycles since I came off the pill in September but we didn't start TTC until last month (and from regular 26/27 day cycles I got thrown a 35 day which means my FW was totally miscalculated!).

Downloaded Femometer and bought some of the ovulation strips too though feeling a bit nervous about using them in case I'm just not ovulating or something....anyone else get worrying thoughts like this too?! We spend a big portion of our lives trying to to get pregnant and then when we do want to we don't know if we can!

@Spinningthewheel that’s great for the high OPK, and that DP is just on board, mine said this morning “I think the more sex we have the hornier I become!” I said that’s needed for the actual FW! Maybe not currently as nowt going on bodywise here but so pleased that yours is getting on track 🤞🏻🤞🏻Fingers crossed for ovulation what CD are you?

@Spinningthewheel Haha aw sometimes the simple approach just works better for some 🤷🏼‍♀️ sometimes I wish it did for my OH, last month I found it awkward around the fertile days to keep it interesting and not completely obvious that it was just because I was ovulating 🙈

I thought AF was making an appearance yesterday morning (when it was due to) but there was just one small spot of blood in the morning and then nothing since. I'm never normally late but also done a test this morning and BFN, so I think I'm still on the June bus 🤷🏼‍♀️ x

@Minster2012 date nights and sexy texts are a really nice idea. I’d love if my DP did that for me. I was planning to do similar for ttc but my DP responded really well to me just saying it’s time! Our sex life hasn’t been great lately so I’d been trying all sorts with massage/games/toys/counselling etc. Turns out he just wants me to say- upstairs now!

I think my body has awoken from its pill induced hibernation! Got a high OPK yesterday (80 on Femometer) and CM moving in the right direction as well. It was unexpected so we haven’t been having sex in the run up but just so happy my body is doing something!

@KateColx do as not to be so regimented o did a surprise date night for my DH last month during FW. Mine is working but even if WFH could work....I sent an invite to a meal, film & “extras”, dress code. & did a proper home date night with face food. Another night I’m planning on sending pics of a part of me with “guess where this is” and “tit or no tit” and sending pics of the underwear I’m planning on wearing that evening (the fact that we have a DS & he is working & wont see it for a while when he gets back is even better!!)
