Hi ladies 💕

13dpo today and af is imminent as temp dropped to cover line plus a bfn. So who's joining me?
TTC #1
This will be cycle 13 since mmc (Feb 19) but been TTC since June 2018 so a horribly momentous month for me.

Bought some vitamins recommended by it starts with the egg for this month and also male conception tablets for DH. So we shall see 🤞🏼

Lots of luck and baby dust to everyone 🍀🌈💕

Sorry just catching up!

@KateColx I have been taking Folic Acid, Zita West VitalDHA, COQ10 and Vitamin D.

Minster2012 · 10/05/2020 21:01

@KateColx that’s the same bits as me, seven seas trying for a baby & cod liver oil here too

KateColx · 10/05/2020 20:56

@Charlotte2020 I'll have a look into those now. Yeah I think a couple of months figuring it out is good! I've learnt a lot since joining Mumsnet 😂 stuff that I probably should have known at 30 years old! But also trying not to get too caught up in millions of tests and charts 🤣🤞🏻

Charlotte2020 · 10/05/2020 20:43

@KateColx I'm just taking the seven seas cod liver oil w/multivitamins capsules I already take for the time being. Also going to wing it for a while before using CB tests.its still early days!

@slimshadyscousin so easy to get wound up from all the information. Must stop googling! Grin

KateColx · 10/05/2020 20:25

Hi guys!! Few days of AF not showing up on time messed me up a bit, but it's made an appearance this afternoon with a vengeance so I'm fully on the June bus 🙋🏼‍♀️

This will be my first month tracking ovulation with CB tests, I've sort of winged it the first two cycles so I'm excited to know a bit more.

What's everyone's recommendations for pre pregnancy vitamins etc? X

slimshadyscousin · 10/05/2020 20:24

@Charlotte2020 ditto being new to Mumsnet and trying not to obsess. Failing miserably on that front 😂

slimshadyscousin · 10/05/2020 20:23

Hopping on the June bus! TTC no1, AF showed up yesterday in full swing 😫 only our first month of properly trying so can’t complain.

Charlotte2020 · 10/05/2020 19:46

Hi all, new to Mumsnet and ttc #1. Just had my Mirena Coil out, so I'm guessing June will be my first proper month of trying. Also trying to keep calm, not obsess or get my hopes up too high!

Minster2012 · 10/05/2020 19:34

@Ltay2 & @Runnergirl1 I am similar to you, CD7 here & so in the “waiting phase” but my DS has thrown a right curveball in ...@MrsLBear I’m ok but here goes a new “winging it” chapter for me... I know a lot of ladies here are hoping to be first time mums...I’m hoping to experience pregnancy & things like making mum friends from that etc because a full term pregnancy would be my first but we have a 21 month old DS who yesterday decided he wanted to try toilet training so we have been starting that today kind of “off the hoof!”

So that’s me staying in the house (I am highly self isolating anyway but we have 2 active dogs) so they won’t be getting much attention as DH goes back to work tomorrow & im on house arrest trying to toilet train DS with zero experience 😂😂& going into fertile week.

Hmmmmm wish me luck

MrsLBear · 10/05/2020 17:20

Hi ladies.
And hi to all the new comers!! Sorry I've been completely off Mumsnet.
How's everything going for everyone?
I'm on cd7 and will start opks probably cd10/12. Can't decide though. Don't want to waste them.

I love the dinner idea @minster2012! I am going to do this for sure. I think it's needed during these times regardless of TTC. How are you doing?

@LittleRa I think most people get AF right away, but it's not unusual to not! It is frustrating though. I spent my whole life thinking it would only take me one time unprotected to get pregnant. My brothers are 30 & 23 and I'm 26, my parents are grandchildless and are now mad at themselves for drilling it into our heads to be so careful 😂

Runnergirl1 · 10/05/2020 16:36

@ltay2 - I am with you there. Currently cd5 and can’t wait to get going haha

Ltay2 · 10/05/2020 15:19

I thought the days in TWW went slowly, here I am on CD4 in the supposedly nice, no worries phase - AF finished but not yet in FW, however I am now willing time to go faster yet again so we can get to FW and get going on another cycle 😂 will I ever be at peace?! 🙄

LittleRa · 10/05/2020 15:12

@rathernotshare Arggh I hope I get AF this month, I just don’t know though.

rathernotshare · 10/05/2020 14:56

@LittleRa I came off end of jan, had a withdrawal bleed within a couple of days and then no AF til April 6th (conveniently my birthday haha)! I think that wasn't quite normal though. Mid April was my first time ovulating but I think my body was quite slow!

LittleRa · 10/05/2020 14:53

@rathernotshare How long have you been off the pill? I came off on 26th April. I had a bleed (withdraw bleed? Period?) for 5 days, finishing 4th May. I’m assuming I won’t ovulate this month and will wait for AF then hopefully ovulate after that but I just don’t know. Am doing SMEP just in case 😂

Ltay2 · 10/05/2020 14:32

@Minster2012 I will have to get some on amazon! Just annoying seeing as it's only 85p in Tesco but so much more expensive on amazon 🙈 I suppose if it helps then it's worth it!

LittleMissBlatherskite · 10/05/2020 14:23

@Minster2012 Thank you! We had 1 BD in my fertile window this month but not holding out any hope for our first attempt resulting in a BFP. DH had fun practicing Grin X

rathernotshare · 10/05/2020 14:18

I'm useless at mumsnet, I can't keep up it moves too quick 😅

AF was only 2 days this month which was weird. Body getting used to coming off the pill still I think. Also cramps on CD1 that had me rolling around the floor in pain!! Hope you're all keeping well 😊

Minster2012 · 10/05/2020 12:26

@Ltay2 I’m drinking grapefruit juice & pomegranate juice, As I’ve never really had ewcm or certainly none that I’ve noticed 🤷‍♀️But it may be that I’ve not paid attention before. So we’ll see.

@LittleMissBlathersKite hi & welcome! Do you think there’s any chance from this month? X

LittleMissBlatherskite · 10/05/2020 11:43

Hi, I'm very excited to be joining the June bus! I'm new to mumsnet and this will by my first time TTC our first child.
I'm 32 and DH is 34. I'm CD15 and 2DPO. AF should appear on 22nd May and then we'll begin the BD.
Good luck to all🍀

Ltay2 · 10/05/2020 11:38

Has anyone been drinking grapefruit juice? I thought about trying it this cycle as it's supposedly meant to help with CM but I can't find any anywhere in the shops we go to and don't want to go anywhere specially so was thinking of getting some on amazon if it's worth it?

Sleeeeeepy · 10/05/2020 10:20

Can I optimistically jump on? I've only just come off the pill so probably getting a bit ahead of myself! We're trying for number 3 (and definitely last). DS2 was a total surprise and not spotted until 8 weeks so I missed out on the early days excitement Smile

Minster2012 · 09/05/2020 20:06

That’s good @Runnergirl1 we really like it!!

Runnergirl1 · 09/05/2020 18:50

@minster2012. I’ve actually just bought some which is due to come next week thankfully so hopefully that will help. Yeah we in the same boat. No idea when I’m ovulating my apps say 23rd/24th but we will see x
