Hi ladies 💕

13dpo today and af is imminent as temp dropped to cover line plus a bfn. So who's joining me?
TTC #1
This will be cycle 13 since mmc (Feb 19) but been TTC since June 2018 so a horribly momentous month for me.

Bought some vitamins recommended by it starts with the egg for this month and also male conception tablets for DH. So we shall see 🤞🏼

Lots of luck and baby dust to everyone 🍀🌈💕

Hi all - new to mumsnet hoping to start trying in July (as I suspect I won’t be able to have my implant out this month for June bus Sad.

@Charlotte2020 if you don’t mind me asking how recent did you have the coil out? I phoned up to have my implant removed and they said they couldn’t do minor surgeries and weren’t sure when (inc coil and implant removal). Are you UK based also?

Thanks

Ltay2 · 12/05/2020 10:38

@Pixielou16 I am so bad at keeping up I don't know why. I can have a glass of water in front of me all day and just never drink any! I've found since getting my Fitbit on Friday it has helped as I get a satisfaction from adding it in bit by bit over the day and seeing it as a challenge completed when it ticks it off 🙈

Pixielou16 · 12/05/2020 10:25

@Ltay2 I'm working on the same. I drink a lot of water when I'm at work but I fail when I'm at home.

Ltay2 · 12/05/2020 09:54

@Pixielou16 I will definitely look into those books! I have been trying so hard to drink lots of water the last few days as I never drink enough. I've managed to get 2L water every day on top of any other hot drinks I have and I have noticed a difference in amount of CM already. I guess my body was just too dehydrated before to waste energy on CM which in hindsight is so obvious.

Pixielou16 · 12/05/2020 09:04

@Ltay2 I can't even remember half of it! Nacetylcysteine is to make CM more plentiful and stretchier, amino acids are to reduce oxidative stress in cells. Myo-inositol is for PCOS, CoQ10 for egg quality, Agnus Castus to regulate cycle after a horrific 63 day one, magnesium for blood flow to the uterus. It Starts With The Egg is a good book to read, it goes through it all in there. Also What to Expect Before You're Expecting x

@bubblybon2020 @Mummyloves09
Welcome! Sorry to hear about your MC, hopefully this is your month 🤞🏼

@Pixielou16 Wow that is an extensive list, I thought mine was long! I know about the first 3 but what are all the others for?

@KRK05 Ah sorry AF arrived, but at least now you have a fresh new cycle to start again!

@Skip86 Oh wow what a horrible valentines present 💔 I am CD6 today so similar!

I am hoping this month is my month, probably setting myself up for disappointment but I feel I am going all out this time with supplements and extensive tracking, of course it doesn't guarantee anything but it makes me feel like I'm making more of an effort. Going to aim to DTD every other day in FW until after I know I have ovulated too. It's only early stages in the cycle but I also feel more calm and positive this time round. Maybe because I know more about what's normal for my body now and so won't go crazy in TWW symptom spotting?! I am a long way off TWW yet but just going to try and assume everything I notice is PMS so as not to get my hopes up, as the likelihood is that it actually is PMS!

Skip86 · 12/05/2020 07:25

Thanks @Minster2012 🥰 and sorry to hear about your MMC.
Cycles haven't really settled completely - I was always bang on 28 days, no spotting before/after, 4 day moderate bleed every time. Whereas the few periods I've had since MC have been all over the shop. The one that I've just finished was heavy for nearly 6 days then spotting for 2 days after! I still had a little pink when wiping this morning and horrible cramps so not sure what's going on? My only concern is that such a heavy, long bleed would not be great for preparing womby for eggy..

Oh and I've just realised I'm also CD9, not 8! I have a DS who took about 6 month to conceive. I was so confident every month that I knew my body sooo well and didn't need to bother tracking, got fed up after 5 months and cracked out the CB digi opk, realised I was O'ing 3 days later than I had always thought - wham, preg that month!
So, this time I'm bring out the big guns from the beginning. CB digi all the way! Plus some ICs just for fun 🎉

Minster2012 · 12/05/2020 06:56

Hello @Pixielou16, totally get the extra vitamins thing, that’s why I didn’t want to get into loads of them but then you think hmmm how many cycles do I go before adding more?

Welcome to @Mummyloves09 & @Skip86, more miscarriages I’m sorry to hear, but hoping bodies are raring you go now. @Skip86, what a horrible valentines present but fingers crossed there’s been decent time now- have your cycles settled down? I had a medicated miscarriage in March after missed miscarriage & im still not sure mine are after 3 bleeds so far but I’m really hoping this one is the one it really is settled.

CD9 now here now so def around similar stages to a lot of ladies and we are in the right place

Full on trying to do the IC OPKs for me currently but still getting stark zeros, I’ve only ever had one slight variance above that last cycle and tomorrow I will start to use the clear blue too so I don’t miss OV 🤞🏻

Skip86 · 12/05/2020 06:23

Hi all 👋🏼
I'm new to MN and been hanging out on a May thread, but realised after a while that everyone is way ahead of me in their cycles! I've had a scroll through here and think your dates are far more suited to me and my silly questions ☺️
MMC at 11 weeks in early Feb (Had a D&C on 14 Feb as a Valentine's present! 😭) and this will be first month TTC for us since then.
CD 8 for me so I think same/similar to a few of you and I'm in the right place?!

KRK05 · 11/05/2020 23:22

Well girls my AF finally arrived tonight after being 5 days late so I'm happy I'm finally on CD1 & ready for this cycle 🤞🏻💜

Mummyloves09 · 11/05/2020 22:58

Hi ladies,
Can I join? June's bus, I'm not new but haven't been on here for a while. This is my 9th cycle of ttc baby N0. 3. Had a miscarriage in October so hopefully my body is ready to go again.

Pixielou16 · 11/05/2020 22:20

@Sleeeeeepy oh, please don't - I'm just a crazy woman! I read It All Starts With The Egg and went a bit ham on buying everything with very little direction, but now I feel if I stop taking them, it could mean the difference between baby or no baby, if you get me? It's best to check with a doctor before taking anything too - although I'm terrible and didn't, given that they're a bit busy currently.

bubblybon2020 · 11/05/2020 22:11

@Minster2012 it's nice to see such lovely support, to one another! And yes very similar! We've also been DTD every other night too, and hoping to stick to it until AF next arrives, to cover all bases! Hoping we're going to be lucky for June 🤞🏻xxx

Minster2012 · 11/05/2020 21:53

@bubblybon2020 welcome & there’s a few of us with similar back stories so sending hugs. 🥰fingers crossed your cycle is back to normal,

I’m on CD8 so similar, we’ve been DTD every other day at least & ive started to use IC OPKs today to try to see when ovulating as no idea what my cycle is like really

Sleeeeeepy · 11/05/2020 21:46

@Pixielou16 Are you able to get all of those from Amazon? I'll be honest I haven't heard of some of them so feel like I should get up to speed Blush

Runnergirl1 · 11/05/2020 19:06

@bubblybon2020 sorry to hear this

Currently on cd6, according to the apps due to ovulate cd18/19. Will start the ovulation testing and DTD this weekend I think x

Pixielou16 · 11/05/2020 19:02

Folic acid, Vitamin D, CoQ10, Vitamin C, Nacetylcysteine, L'arginine, L'carnitine, Omega 3, Magnesium, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Agnus Vastus, Myo-inositol, Evening Primrose Oil til ovulation then swap to Vitamin E... Quite sick of it all tbh!

bubblybon2020 · 11/05/2020 19:01

Hi 👋
Hope it's okay for me to join, I suffered a natural miscarriage on the 9th April at 8 + 4 weeks. Surprisingly my cycle seems the same, Currently on CD 9. Fingers crossed for everyone on this thread 🤞🏻🤞🏻 x

Ltay2 · 11/05/2020 18:43

@LittleRa Hopefully your cycle settles down for you soon! But definitely will be covered by DTD every other day!

@CMM20 I can understand that, I know a lot of people have found it very confusing. I am lucky in that nothing will change for me following the latest update, I am still working from home and my OH is still going to work as he has been doing all along. Very confusing about the going outside stuff though I'll admit.

@Pixielou16 I am taking so many supplements/vitamins too! Folic Acid, DHA, Vitamin D and COQ10. Folic Acid and VitD are once a day, DHA twice a day and COQ10 3 times a day so feel like I'm rattling 🤣 I am sure my amazon delivery driver hates me too 🙈

SaraVB · 11/05/2020 18:20

@Pixielou16 me too, AF showed up yesterday. Only cycle 2 for me but already finding it frustrating. I'm not the most patient person!

Oh what vitamins are you taking? I'm only taking one prenatal multivitamin as my doctor recommended taking something with folic acid in it. Maybe you can find something that's a combo of a few of the ones you're taking now?

Pixielou16 · 11/05/2020 17:01

Hello, I'm joining as AF slapped me full on in the face today. I'm 28, DH 32, TTC #1, cycle 4, fed up already. I'm taking more vitamins and supplements than I care to admit to. Going to review this since it is getting bloody expensive and the Amazon man probably hates me for all the journeys he's having to take to my house.

Charlotte2020 · 11/05/2020 16:41

@CMM20 I feel more nervous about reduced face-to-face time and changes to services I think. Bit early for me to me worrying about that but I'd love those to go back to normal.

CMM20 · 11/05/2020 16:31

Doing well thanks! On CD 6 so pretty close to you @Ltay2 Feeling a little on edge after all of the latest updates from the government. Don't know what I was expecting but have gone from being very optimistic to a bit more apprehensive. How is everyone else doing/ feeling about the latest updates?

LittleRa · 11/05/2020 16:29

CD 12 here, but that’s following a withdrawal bleed/first bleed off the pill so don’t know if it counts this month. Also I did used to get a bleed on the pill and tracked it and my cycle was 35-36 days so at CD 12 currently but app predicting ovulation around CD 21... All this could (hopefully) change once I have a period though so we’ll see. I’m still DTD every other day just in case!

Ltay2 · 11/05/2020 16:03

How's everyone doing? What CD are you all on now? I am CD5 so still a few more days to go before FW!
