June Bus - who's on board?

Morning ladies! @KRK05 and @Minster2012 I plan on using CB for the first few months to really pinpoint O without all the squinting and uncertainty of ICs. My bank balance won't be happy if I keep going with them for too long though so here's hoping I don't have to 🤞🏼 You're right it's an absolute rort not being able to buy the sticks separately!
It says for my cycle to start on day CD7 but I decided to wait until 8 in order to save a precious stick! Glad I did though because I'm now on day three of ⭕️ and you surely don't need anymore of a baseline than that?

With DS I used CB for the first time in the month that I fell (cycle 6) I was completely convinced I would O on CD 14, used up all the 10 sticks by CD 17 without static smiley and was totally gutted - thought there was something wrong with me and I wasn't ovulating. Used a basic test strip on the evening of CD17 and it was a blazing positive, we DTD and were fortunate enough to catch :)
So I've actually never had a successful cycle of using CB (never got to static smiley) but it definitely helped me understand my cycle better than the cheapies did.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience too @KRK05 🌸 and really hope you can get some clarity this time round. If your cycle is around the lengths you've mentioned without too much variance, and you have 20 sticks, I'd say average it and then go by the suggested start date on the instructions and you'll have plenty to see you through 😊

I’m now having a bath with g&t beside me & ive even cracked open a jo Malone candle that was a wedding present for someone who’s wedding was cancelled....we’ll it’ll spoil won’t it?!!

@Minster2012 That's funny u say that cause I found last cycle DTD more made us want to do it even more without even thinking 'its FW' 😂 but our 5 year old decided lockdown means it's a weekend night every night so was just not sleeping at a decent time so didnt work for us cause my OH at work also, so that didnt last long it's as if the little terror knew & was like 'nope no baby brothers or sisters' 😂 hahahah that's so funny 'cleaning up piss & 💩' 😂😂 I'm not feeling sexy atall either I'm currently going about in my joggers & baggy top, bun on the top of my head eating everything in sight but its AF I'm allowed 🤷🏼‍♀️

I got mines from Boots but only cause I read some reviews off Amazon & some were fakes but not many bad reviews most were good so I was like oh hell no I'm taking no chances but Boots prices are RIDICULOUS compared to everywhere else, theres a website called 'Dr Fertility' that has it same prices as Amazon the website seems decent enough so maybe try a diff site like that if your like me worry about the serious stuff off of Amazon 🙈 but wouldnt recommend Boots prices there just taking the P!

We were really enjoying SMEP last time it was actually making us hornier, & last weekend which was like CD4-7 straight after AF we DTD 3 days in a row talking about it! But then DS1 decided he was going to initiate potty training so that’s now taking a slight shine off having first day yesterday on my own (DH working all week still) cleaning up piss & 💩. Worse today on my hands & knees this morning now in crap leggings so NOT feeling sexy at all 😂🤣& already eaten half a Lindt Easter bunny

@Minster2012 That club is defo me to a T, I'm in 😂😂 I'm normally 28 days but this one was 32 or 33 so il just go by my 28 days which says I should start CD8 on the instructions, I bought the 20 tests pack so I wouldnt run out. I seen that too that they have to learn your cycles so il defo stick at it, u should stick at it too & if u need to buy more just use them in your same holder your using now. Its rubbish u cant buy the test strips seperate, bloody con! 🤨 Hurry up CD8 so I can start, also told OH to get rested up cause wanting to do SMEP 😜

Def fingers crossed it eases off for you 🤞🏻I’m gonna use CB digital too, I’ve only started using last month but never made it to a smiley face! I also don’t know when I ovulate, do you know how long your cycles are? I don’t really know that either but they have to “learn your cycle” (that’s why you stay with the same stick you put the new cartridges into... I started on CD9 last time so I didn’t miss it but then got AF. I’m on CD9 today, & still on 0 with the ICs from yesterday & so far today so I don’t know whether to use CB tomorrow or not 😬 I only have about 7 left I think so I’m keen to hear others thoughts too @Ltay2

@Ltay2 I'm with u on that I am NOT symptom spotting cause that's just a cruel trick cause there all the same as AF. Instead I think anything I feel I'm gonna log it into my app so I can look back & know my 'normal' symptoms. I'm gonna hold off too for testing & get ready for my OPK questions 🙄😂

@Skip86 @Minster2012 So sorry to hear u girls are still having a bit of a rough time since MC & for your losses 💜 I myself had an Ectopic in March, my hcg levels were 0 at start of April so I'm thinking its probably why my AF was a bit thrown off this month, plus I always get heavy periods but omg today is unbelievable I am on my 4th pad since 10am so hoping it calms down over the next couple days 🙈

@Skip86 I see your using CB digi, what CD do u usually start that? I've never tracked before so I'm worried I start it too late cause I have no clue when I actually ovulate for all I know could be really early on in my cycle or really late 🤔

Ah no that’s good @Skip86 stuff happens doesn’t it, but yeah it was very annoying & quite tearful as both DH & I had a lovely weekend DTD & gearing up for FW then bam but hey ho! Fingers crossed that spotting still means nothing & your body still does it’s thing 🤞🏻🤞🏻Lots of ppl get pregnant in the few months after so we will hope. & of course you had to take a test!! Always gotta check right!!

@KRK05 my app also says due around the 1st but my cycles still aren’t really stable so no idea!!

@KRK05 I think I'm due around the 1st, but have had a bit of a strange period so not sure if it's going to push things back a bit 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Minster2012 MC was back in Feb and I've had a few periods since 😊 last month I had a few days of v light spotting from CD 25 (stupidly thought it could be implantation so tested and BFN), then a light AF for only 2 days from CD 28. So they've all just been really different. I am fortunate that the cycles I've had since MC have been somewhat regular in length, between 26-29 days.
Gosh I'm sorry about what's been happening with yours, it must be crappy to feel like you're finally on your way again and then back to square one! I really hope that is behind you now and your body behaves itself this month 💗

@KRK05 Yeah same 🤣 I'm going to try and keep thinking that any 'symptoms' I may see this TWW are nothing and I'm glad I've had one crazy month to know now that I have experienced them before and it turned out to be nothing so maybe that will help to not go toooo crazy! I tested early last time and it didn't help me at all so I'm going to hold off as much as possible this time.

@Ltay2 I mean I'm trying but I'm pretty sure this was my attitude at the start last cycle then 2nd week of TWW I was crazy 🤪😂 definitely gonna try not to this cycle though it makes the TWW feel like 2 months 🙈

AF would be due for me 5th/6th June depending on which app I go off!

@Ltay2 I'm feeling the same as u for this cycle. It's not that I think I'm gonna be so lucky & get that BFP so setting myself up for disappointment if I dont it's more I know now I'm tracking OPKs & BBT so giving myself the best chance & that's all we can do really 🙏🏼 of course if I did get that BFP I'd feel super lucky & blessed.

I'm gonna give the drinking more water a try too, I'm more coffee & fizzy juice (so much caffeinated drinks) so that's not good il need to cut down my intake.

When is everybody's AF due? My apps are saying different days, must be cause I was late this time. So 2 are saying 12th June & 2 are saying 8th June. So I'm gonna go by the 12th June & if I make it to then, then test on the 13th 🤞🏻💛

@Skip86 what did you do in between your MC & now? The reason I ask is I thought it was April... & so il afraid that’s not long & periods are often heavier (My EPU warned me) after MC especially ones with medicinal involvement. I phoned the EPU as mine went miscarriage,28 days AF, then CD12 AF appeared again, I phoned they said normal & if TTC count is as bleeding so CD11 another AF appeared, I phoned again & they said it’s not unusual after medicated or D&C to be very weird cycles /bleeding for a few months. I was gutted but the last one was 4.5 days & so I’m hoping that was a good clear out & now back to level playing field.

I’m sorry you are still bleeding hopefully it will stop but you may find this cycle is weird 😥

@Charlotte2020 I can imagine, doesn’t sound nice! Probably give them a ring this afternoon - as we really want to start trying. Especially now my wedding is probably going to get cancelled in July no need to wait now.

@abilouise93 I was very surprised she offered to do it. She was gowned and masked as if she was about to do major surgery on me which wasn't very relaxing! If you speak to a gp they might be able to refer you somewhere?

@Charlotte2020 that is so odd and annoying at the same time. My GP don’t do them and refer you to a hospital sexual health clinic which is probably why I can’t have it out.

I might phone the GP and see what they can do.

Girls I have never had such a long period, still pink on CD 9. Just a bit bummed that we waited patiently after MC to try again and I was so excited to start, and now body is being a right pain. Do you think it'll effect my lining if I ovulate in 5 or so days?

@abilouise93 I had mine out last week. Receptionist said they weren't doing removals, but I spoke to the gp and she was happy to!
