Hi ladies 💕

13dpo today and af is imminent as temp dropped to cover line plus a bfn. So who's joining me?
TTC #1
This will be cycle 13 since mmc (Feb 19) but been TTC since June 2018 so a horribly momentous month for me.

Bought some vitamins recommended by it starts with the egg for this month and also male conception tablets for DH. So we shall see 🤞🏼

Lots of luck and baby dust to everyone 🍀🌈💕

Oh I hope I've not missed it, I'm in for a super short cycle if I have! I'm only on CD9, with AF having stopped on CD7, did DTD on CD 8 tho so maybe...just maybe!

Juno231 · 17/05/2020 21:46

@onnaturescourse I'd say you probably missed it! Haven't heard of anyone having IC strip problems for OPKs before so I think that might be unlikely.

@minster2012 I mean that I rave about /push femometer on to everyone cause I love it 😁.

OnNaturesCourse · 17/05/2020 21:46

@MrsDh2019 I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Do you usually come on in the AM or PM - might be worth testing either tomorrow night or the next day?

MrsDh2019 · 17/05/2020 21:43

Hi girls just checking in to keep you all updated... 13 dpo and af due tomorrow. Still don’t feel like she’s even remotely on her way and increasingly noticing unusual pregnancy symptoms despite BFN Im sure af will come knocking soon though to just put me out🙄. Anything changes I will keep you all in the loop 🤞🏼 I hope this is the month for some BFPs x

OnNaturesCourse · 17/05/2020 21:35

Yes thankfully still plenty time to see the ovulation line this month, hopefully my body isn't playing funny buggers and I've not missed it.

Can I ask how many of you are trying for 2nd/3rd etc babies? We will, hopefully, be going from 1 DC to 2 and as much as I want another baby a part of me is worried about the change and impact on DC 1 who is super attached and very much my side kick.

Minster2012 · 17/05/2020 21:29

Wow so much going on!!

@Dreaming101 sorry for your BFN but if you think ovulation could have occurred at a different time then there’s still a chance isn’t there?

@Juno231 a born again Christian with femometer? Eh?! Do you mean you love inputting the data?

@OnNaturesCourse i had a “high” last month ln CD 10 randomly then nothing for ages but I had to abandon it all at CD12 when AF showed unexpectedly so I don’t know what would have happened later on but it was just one random high in the morning - god our bodies are weird 😬

SmileyT · 17/05/2020 21:27

@OnNaturesCourse I find the opks do fluctuate a little throughout the day before ovulation, if you are CD9 then you still have plenty of time to get your positive opk if you are expecting a 28 day cycle👌🏾

OnNaturesCourse · 17/05/2020 21:24

About 12 hours Blush

I usually start getting faint lines on the sticks around 2/3 days beforehand, then I get a morning of a solid line then it drops away within 24 hours. But never had a line sort of disappear like that.

Maybe this cycle is just playing with me because it knows we're actively trying now Confused

Ltay2 · 17/05/2020 21:14

@OnNaturesCourse How far apart did you test? Sometimes the surge can only be a few hours so you can potentially miss it?

OnNaturesCourse · 17/05/2020 21:05

Has anyone had a light positive on a ovulation stick in the AM, and then nothing in PM?

Suspect cheap sticks may be to blame but I definitely thought my levels were starting to rise this morning. 🙄

33Carr · 17/05/2020 20:16

@Juno231 Haha it's ok, I'm using OPKs and now starting cycle 3. I understand what you mean about stressing yourself out. I'm in the same boat, I'm normally so chilled about stuff! Been trying since December and got a BFP at the beginning of Feb but ended up in a MMC. But wasn't tracking anything first time round, just let nature take its course!

Juno231 · 17/05/2020 20:09

@33Carr woop another cycle buddy! Will you be using anything to track it? Sorry if I'm asking you to repeat yourself 🙊. I'll be using OPKs again (this is cycle 5) but will try and be more relaxed about it as I never got a peak last month and it really stressed me out 😅

33Carr · 17/05/2020 19:57

@Juno231 I'm on CD2 too and FW starting Sunday! 🤗🤗

Juno231 · 17/05/2020 19:48

@33Carr don't get me started - I'm like a born again Christian with femometer, love that app!

CD2 and can't help but marvel at how quickly the first half of the cycle goes by - it'll be the start of FW next Sunday already!

33Carr · 17/05/2020 19:25

@KRK05 Aye I guess if you are both in the same page and know it needs doing it's not too bad!! At good that you're both up for still keeping it fun!

@jaxs23 Thanks! Yeah it's handy being able to input the OPK results, mainly like it for the comparison between days/times. Hope the rest of your cycle goes as planned!

jaxs23 · 17/05/2020 19:18

@skip86 and @SmileyT Thanks. Will remember that missing one BD isn't the end for that cycle.
@KRK05 Thanks. I like doing my bbt, but this is also my first cycle doing it as well. CD 12 and looking forward to seeing that rise in temp that says you ovulated.
@33Carr I use femometer and Premom for tracking opks mainly. Love that they read the lh levels for you. Also using them for cm and bbt. Have FF for bbt also since it looks easier to read with the cover line. Will find out what works best end of cycle.

Dreaming101 · 17/05/2020 19:04

Thanks @SmileyT I think I was expecting it. Hoping AF will arrive so I can start a fresh and forget this crazy cycle! Xxx

KRK05 · 17/05/2020 18:12

@33Carr **its not too much of a difference from our usual, I meant 🙈😂

KRK05 · 17/05/2020 18:11

@33Carr Cant really say justnow cause only CD7 so technically should start tomorrow but we did last night CD6 so will definitely keep it up, it's too much of a difference to when we weren't TTC anyway, same as u! I just think different cause it's more 'right we have to do it on so & so day' but weve spoke about it so both committed & just gonna try make it fun so it doesnt become blah X

33Carr · 17/05/2020 17:33

@Katao haha I know! The sheer horror!

@KRK05 How are you finding SMEP so far? I'm hoping it doesn't make DTD too regimented, looking through past cycles we DTD pretty much every third day so not too much of a drastic change I guess? 🤷🏽‍♀️

KRK05 · 17/05/2020 17:26

@lucyrp Sounds lovely, enjoy 💛 yeah il maybe do that actually, il keep tracking & maybe go back & meet in the middle to input for today, annoyed at myself though I am NOT a morning person but had been keeping up with it so was doing pretty well 🙈

@33Carr We are doing SMEP this cycle too 🤞🏻 so funny u saying it wrong to your OH 😂

Katao · 17/05/2020 17:18

😂 @33Carr poor DP you put him under pressure there!

33Carr · 17/05/2020 16:43

I don't track BBT but it seems like most of us here are, will most likely try next cycle of this one isn't a success. Going to try the SMEP plan this month too, told DP about having to DTD three times in a row and his face dropped '3 times in a row?!!' I should have specified three days rather than three times 😂

lucyrp · 17/05/2020 16:37

@SmileyT no it's fine I just didn't want to clog the feed up again explaining I already feel I write far too much on here everyone's probably fed up of seeing my name😂 no and it's really hard to understand it when it goes wrong because my first pregnancy was so easy going from what I remember. Maybe it was because I was so young and didn't worry about anything where as now I'm a stress head!🙈
Thank you, baby dust to you too x

SmileyT · 17/05/2020 16:30

@lucyrp sorry I didn't scroll back far enough to read your OP 🙈 really sorry for your loss aswell, that nurse sounds very insensitive when I went in for my surgery following MC the Drs told me all the stats about how common it is, it really doesn't help when you're going through it though does it. That all makes sense from your post and I can completely understand why you are confused with a static aswell on your CB. Hope your cycle settles down and you get a sticky bean this month. Enjoy your date night x

@33Carr yeah I use the femometer app aswell use it to track ic opks and BBT and find it quite handy, I use FF, Flo and Ovia aswell just to compare the predictions x

@Dreaming101 sorry for your BFN this morning 😕 x
