June Bus - who's on board?

Thank you all, at first I was disappointed at missing FW but it's strange how it takes something serious like this to change your attitude. Yesterday I was a crazy obsessed woman determined that June would be our month, and now I'm absolutely fine with the fact that June definitely isn't going to be our month and that there's a high chance that we won't be able to try in July either. It's been a scary night, OH still in hospital awaiting surgery I'm just hoping I hear something soon so I can switch off enough to sleep. Then of course once he's home it's the added worry of has he been exposed to Coronavirus 😕

@OnNaturesCourse ah that’s interesting it’s on the packet. Hoping it’s just the tablets that have messed this cycle.

@SmileyT I have been taking the natural version of pregnacare but ran out and am waiting for my delivery so was taking just folic acid on its own. Maybe for about a week or so.

@ Minster2012 I’m hoping I’m 8DPO today but this cycle has been an odd 🤞🏼 I’ll try and leave it until the weekend!

That’s the time I think it gets really hard around then /8 /9 days so hang on in! & I think there was someone else too? It’s @runnergirl1 who will be joining you soon!

@lucyrp I’m on my 4th day of flashing smile now (damn it!) after 3 days of O before that, I think it will be messed up after your CP so just stick with it

@Ltay2 def puts things in perspective with your OH but it’s also totally rational to be irrationally angry about missing FW too. I would be 😬🤦🏼‍♀️It’s a safe place here! Hope you get some rest, sending hugs

@Ltay2 omg I hope everything is ok! Sounds scary and stressful, sending you healing vibes. Also I feel compelled to add, yes the health and recovery of OH is what's most important at the moment, but in case you have a niggle of a feeling of disappointment/sadness at delaying TTC it would be completely understandable. I realise you might not be able to express that feeling to OH or others close to you, but if you have anything you want to talk about here please go right ahead 💗 xx

@lucyrp I got 4 days of ⭕️, 4 days flashing 🙂, then static on CD 16 of a usual 28 day cycle. With your cycles out of whack after CP there could definitely be a delayed ov, don't give up on ov yet it's still super early for you!

So I'm 1DPO now (I think 🤷🏼‍♀️). CM returned to just wet and now already more creamy. Is anyone else in the TWW or am I the loner over on this side?!

I'm so confused to my cycle at the moment I think this month I'm out for the count as I'm CD11 and still getting ⭕️. I had a peak smiley on CB on CD5 and a peak on my BBT and then a huge drop the next day so maybe it was me ovulating but Flo also has this month as a 48 day cycle because of my CP messing up last month. How many days before ovulation have you ladies using CB had a flashing smiley ?

@unluckyducky I'm so sorry to hear this, take some time to look after yourself and grieve. Really hoping that June is another lucky bus and you get that sticky BFP that you deserve. Did you speak to your Doctor about it? x

@SmileyT Thank you, he's waiting to have surgery so I've still had no sleep 🙈 not even bothered about TTC now, I'm expecting July to be out too now with recovery time but that doesn't matter, he's obviously the priority for the time being.

@Minster2012 unfortunately I'm a bit behind you ladies, about 10 days until ovulation but really hoping you all get some BFPs over the next couple weeks 🙌🏾

@Dreaming101 personally I'd wait until at least 12dpo to start testing but if you can't wait just go for it 😂 just know that if you actually are 7/8dpo it might not be a conclusive answer and you may have to just keep testing. I've never heard of Folic acid affecting cycles but tbh your body can react strangely to anything new you put into it, did you start taking it 3 months ago or just this month?Fingers crossed for you when you do test 🤞

Ok so definitely out this month no question. OH 'delicate' injury got a lot worse so currently in A&E and nooo chance we are DTD this week or for a while. Oh well, scary experience tonight put it all into perspective at least he is ok, in the right place and on the mend and we always have July.

This is one weird period. Spotting but passing clots, extreme cramping in the back area and the stomach area. Leg pains like I'm getting growing pains in the top of legs. Don't know What's going on.

IC number 2 of today, Femometer says this is high so will check again tomorrow

@dreaming I started taking Pregnacare today and it says on the side of the box that it could effect my cycles so I guess folic acid could be the cause?

Hey ladies, bit of a strange one for me this mont. Think I mentioned it at the start if the thread but I’ve had two peaks this cycle and it’s a longer cycle than I’ve had before. I’m assuming the second LH peak was the true one so would be 7 DPO and am on CD35. I usually have 28 day cycles. When would you guys do a test? I’m itching to do one but holding off.

Has anyone else ever had an issue with Folic acid extending a cycle or delaying a period?

@Minster2012 Yeah I am very close to ovulation! Hoping Thursday or Friday rather than tomorrow to give us the best chance 🤞🏼 will update in the morning!

@KateColx I already have a DS aged 5 so TTC #2. DS is from previous tho so my OH #1 he's so excited and so am I as he's great with my DS he'll be such a great dad! What about you is it #1 for you ??

@Pixielou yes I know! He is doing really well, he’s only young but he started it & is getting it so will not give up but tantrums & 💩doesn’t make you feel sexy fur when DH returns!

I’m using both CB & IC as I don’t know what my ovulation/cycle is like so I’m keen to try to understand it. How did you know you hadn’t ovulated & what did CB say?

@Minster2012 I’m the same nearly! CD15 and flashing smiley for the past 5 days. Going to test again in the next hour or so, fingers crossed for a static smiley.

My cycles are all over the place - last month 28, previous months 38/39 and it’s our second month of trying. Our first month we didn’t really know what we were doing and I think we missed the window due to my cycle being 10 days shorter than expected! I’m very impatiently waiting for that static smiley for this month 🤞🏻

@Minster2012 oh dear! It's a good time to do it though- he'll get it eventually.

Does everyone prefer Clearblue to IC? Clearblue didn't work for me last cycle, it thought I ovulated and I didn't, it came a week later.

@KRK05 I'm herreee, I've not been on here as much now I'm not In the crazy TWW phase haha, but thought I'd come back on ready for it 🤣 god that all sounds a little complicated! Be interesting to see how the OPK compare to when you get your smiley on CB.

@lucyrp oh yeah we all are really close!! I'm CD10 and on day 3 of CB tests with ⭕️. Like you I've never tracked before so I'm not too sure what to expect, but it definitely doesn't feel like I'll actually ovulate on the 22nd like the apps say I will. Are you trying for your first baby?

@jaxs23 I totally know what you mean about obsessing over being pregnant & the feeling of NEEDING to be after MC. Especially as I thought before “great, lockdown will be brilliant so ppl won’t guess” as I was 7 weeks before lockdown so now I feel like I still need to be pregnant in lockdown

@Pixielou16 put down the biscuits! I’ve been so lazy this past week though as been potty training DS so literally even more lockdown than usual 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’m trying to be good & do exercise but it’s so hard to get motivated especially when currently I’m on my hands and knees wiping up messes atm 😬

I literally still have 0 on the femometer strips. I really hope the CB are right.

@Lmac2018 was your blood test at the doctors to see if you are pregnant? If so that’s good mine wouldn’t even do that after IVF where I didn’t have bloods! Don’t count yourself out yet though 🤞🏻
