I can't seem to see a thread for this so thought I'd start one. Any other girls with cycles shorter than 28 days please join and let's discuss! Mine fluctuates from 24 to 26 days, I usually ovulate day 10 on a 24 day cycle and yet to track when I ov on a 26 cycle but I would imagine it's day 12. I have a normal LP of 14 days but would love to have a longer follicular phase. 8 months of trying. I'm 34, husband is 37.

Omg same @slimshadyscousin 😂 I'm sooooo big now but have no motivation to stop lol!

@Nat4392 eating pineapple is meant to make your uterus a better environment for implantation if you eat it in the early DPO! I struggle to eat it too so I just drink the juice but tbh it probably doesn’t make that much of a difference. I know the bus is so busy I can’t keep up, it’s much nicer to have a smaller thread. ☺️ No judgment here @notyetamumbuttrying I don’t blame you for carrying on and having a drink! I am currently treating myself to some local fudge, definitely going to be the size of a house by the time I go back to work, pregnant or not 😂

Nat4392 · 29/05/2020 20:07

@slimshadyscousin fingers crossed for you. That’s so sweet of your DH ❤️
Nothing to report for me I’m either 1 or 2 DPO depending on which test I go off.
I joined a June bus but by the time I went back to it a day later there were like 100+ new posts so I’ve never bothered jumping back in!
What’s this about pineapple?

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/05/2020 19:08

Good hubby! @slimshadyscousin I might try that with mine and see if he bites, unlikely tho lol!
Wow you're good, I love a drink but will stop once I get that positive of course, but i do cut bk in the last week of the tww just in case!
Hmm prob not, a had a few pineapple chunks yesterday as we had them but they irritate my tongue so don't have them often. Do you then?

@notyetamumbuttrying I know bless him, I did leave a Seraphine catalogue lying around and he actually took the hint!

That would be lovely to announce on your anniversary! I’m so jealous of the ciders, I haven’t had a drink since AF just incase. Would kill for a G&T in the sunshine 😫😫

Are you going to be trying the pineapple thing over the next few days?

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/05/2020 18:42

Yeah same @slimshadyscousin in terms of the June bus, think I'm just gonna comment sporadically cos I can't be arsed to keep up anymore lol! Aw bless your Dh with the maternity wear, what a cutie! Really hope you get your bfp!! So I'm 1dpo today and enjoying a couple ciders before any implantation can take place! It would be lovely to catch this month as then we could announce on our year wedding anniversary at the end of aug! Soppy I know 😂

Hi everyone! Just an update I tested today (9DPO) as been having some pretty strong twinges on my lower right side the last couple of days. Still a BFN for me at the moment but not losing hope. Even DH is getting excited now and bought me a pair of maternity dungarees online today, they’re lovely! Hopefully won’t be long before I can wear them...

How is everyone else getting on? I have gotten well and truly lost on the June bus thread now lol. I keep reading it but don’t comment much as they tend to get lost.

notyetamumbuttrying · 29/05/2020 09:10

That's fair enough @Nat4392. I might do a day early just because I have some early tests in.
Very strange @MimiArm!

OP posts:
Nat4392 · 28/05/2020 22:51

@notyetamumbuttrying nope definitely not gonna be testing. I never do nowadays, I always wait for AF.

@MimiArm yea I don’t blame you for feeling like that. They’re the same test so they should basically be the same result, so unless your hormones have varied loads in a short time but that’s unlikely. It does make you wonder 🤔

MimiArm · 28/05/2020 19:32

Thanks @notyetamumbuttrying and @Nat4392

I'm on day one of flashing smiley face and EWCM so I think I'll be in the TWW very soon too!

The cynical side of me is thinking the private tests are a con now since the same test came back fine with GP ... or maybe it's just taking my body a while to go back to normal having stopped mini pill 6 months ago. Who knows.

notyetamumbuttrying · 28/05/2020 18:25

Don't blame you @Nat4392! I'll be joining u from tomorrow so we can keep each other sane! Will u test before AF?

OP posts:
Nat4392 · 28/05/2020 17:56

@MimiArm that’s great news, fingers crossed your 21 day bloods are good 👍🏻
I’ve just begun the dreaded TWW and I’m already sick of it before it’s started! As soon as I hit cycle 12 I’m getting a GP appointment, sick of not knowing if everything is normal or not x

notyetamumbuttrying · 28/05/2020 16:00

Good @MimiArm and good luck for next week!

*low Estrogen

MimiArm · 28/05/2020 15:34

Hi everyone - update.

So CD3 blood tests done by GP all came back normal! So strange as the private test said lie Estrogen but hey, I'll take normal!

CD21 year booked in for 5 June with GP.

Nat4392 · 27/05/2020 22:24

@slimshadyscousin not a clue! It’s up and down, here’s all my tests for this cycle, no idea which day to count. I’ll have to be blasé with it and give or take a day when I’m working things out

slimshadyscousin · 27/05/2020 21:54

@Nat4392 that’s ok I had a little cry over an email this morning so you’re entitled to get upset over something actually worth getting upset over!

Could you have caught your surge on your way up and then on the way down if that makes sense?

Nat4392 · 27/05/2020 18:37

Thanks @slimshadyscousin I had a bit of a wobble before now I’m feeling better. I’ve also taken more strip OPKs today and just got a definite positive on the evening test so I have no idea what to think now! Clear blue was positive yesterday, I’m so confused! 🙈

slimshadyscousin · 27/05/2020 14:17

Thanks so much for the tip @Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear

@Nat4392 I’m so sorry to hear about your mum. I totally get you want her to meet your baby, I would be so upset in your situation too. We lost my FIL last year and my DH gets upset that he will never meet our future children. I don’t have anything to say to make you feel better I’m afraid but I agree life is a total bitch!! Just know you aren’t letting her down at all or yourself, you are doing everything you can and you are enough, baby or no baby. Flowers

Welcome @LosingtheTTCplot sorry to hear about your losses. It’s crazy how many women go through it, a girl I went to school with posted on Fb just this morning that she was pregnant and lost the baby when she caught COVID-19 (they don’t know whether it was related or not) be kind to yourself ❤️

Nat4392 · 27/05/2020 13:30

I feel so fed up today.

My mum has cancer and it’s pretty much incurable. She’s had it for 6 years now so I’ve got my head round it but she is so desperate for a grandchild and I hate that I haven’t given her one yet. Her treatment is starting to not be effective and I hate to be morbid but I’m so worried time is running out. Every month I feel I’ve let her down just as much as myself. What’s worse I can’t even give her a hug because of all this lockdown shit.

Sorry just needed a moan to get it off my chest. Life is shit!! 🖕🏼🖕🏼

notyetamumbuttrying · 27/05/2020 13:28

Aww that's nice, thank you @Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear

No I'm happy with my one notyet, just saw this come up under active threads and thought I would mention EPO in case it helped anyone :)

notyetamumbuttrying · 27/05/2020 13:12

I bloody hope so @Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear 😂
Are you trying for no 2 now?

OP posts:
Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 27/05/2020 13:01

Keeping everything crossed for you notyet! Now your ov is later I'm sure it won't be long for you :)

notyetamumbuttrying · 27/05/2020 13:00

Hi @Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear I've heard good things about this too. If the Angus doesn't do the trick for me I might move onto the primrose. The Angus has done what you've described tho and moved ov to cd12 from cd10 so my fingers are tightly crossed!!
