Half way through the 2WW and just feel deflated

Hiya Ladies
Im 6DPO and just feel fed up. Sick of symptom spotting, sick of the voice in my head telling me this is the month only to have AF show up.
Last month took it out of me when I was 8 days late and convinced i was pregnant only for AF to show. Now this month i just feel like (as childish as it sounds) im never going to get those 2 lines. I have barely any symptoms this month other than sore boobs which i get every month.
Have any of you got tips on how to stay positive?
Also anyone else the same dpo as me and want to buddy up?

Hi everyone, do you mind if I join in? I'm 9 DPO I think like @xxlannixx and similar to others here! Seems like a positive experience to go through this with others. Struggling to keep easy minded and not totally obsessed with it all! As for this month, my usual PMS signs are here, low mood, slight cramping etc but holding out hope and off testing until Sunday!

Good luck everyone ✨

babybumpfor2020 · 05/05/2020 11:56

@xxlannixx af arrived on Saturday morning, period pain really uncomfortable. Just about to hit the 2 year mark :-( the news last week about the fertility clinic opening again is great news though and I cried when they announced it!

Hope there were lots of bfp this month baby dust

SkylinesTurnstiles · 05/05/2020 11:14

Hi everyone!
Hope you are all good.
I am 10dpo today. I have caved and tested the last 2 days and think I have a couple of evaps rather that lines 🙄
Feeling a little nauseous, crampy and boobs hurt but that could be AF!
Good luck everyone xxx

10 DPO today - my boobs feel a bit fuller, however they also seem to have eased off on the soreness (which normally means AF coming for me). I did have some unusual thick slightly yellow CM when I woke this morning, and I had a bit of stabbing pain last night on my right hand-side. However I don't want to get my hopes up that that was implantation because I've had twinges in other months with BFNs..

Good luck to everyone - whether this month or upcoming months.

Fifol · 05/05/2020 10:31

Massive good luck to everyone still waiting and onto the next attempt for the rest of us! Xx

SarahTTCx · 05/05/2020 09:34

@xxlannixx i'm on cd28 and due on today. My cycles are always between 25-28 days long, i've never went a day over 28, but no sign of AF just yet.

I did test yesterday, however it was a definite negative, but that would have only been 10/11dpo as I have a short luteal phase so maybe too early?

I did have AF cramps in full swing yesterday lunch time for a good few hours, the way they normally are when AF is literally just about to start, but no hint of spotting or anything yet so trying to stay hopeful!

How about you?

dublino · 05/05/2020 09:24

Hey ladies can I join. 8 dpo for me. Af due this sun or mon. Fighting the urge not to start testing. This is the first month I stopped temping once ovulation was confirmed become obsessed with how my temps will be each morning to the point it effects my sleep. Ttc about 1.5 years bow with mc year ago and last two cycles I think I had chemicals. Trying to be more relaxed but its next to impossible

nina468 · 05/05/2020 09:18

@xxlannixx AF arrived yesterday for me so I'm out! Onto June for me...good luck to all xx

SaraVB · 05/05/2020 09:18

@xxlannixx I'm feeling pretty much the same... I think AF is due on Friday so I'm just waiting for it to make its appearance. This morning I got impatient and took a pregnancy test and got a BFN so I think that's pretty much settled it for this month.
I'm really sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancies and despite the signs I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it happens for you soon.

CurbsideProphet · 05/05/2020 09:03

@xxlannixx I'm at cd 24 / 13 dpo and I've had nausea, cramps, and light brown discharge since Sunday. I've had two chemical pregnancies previously, so I'm not expecting a bfp this time.

Ltay2 · 05/05/2020 09:03

@xxlannixx AF is due on Thursday and definitely making an appearance 🙈 COQ10 is said to improve egg quality amongst other things so thought it was worth a try. Just been reading up about vitamins and found out the high dosage of vitamin c I have been taking has potentially not helped as can make the uterus more acidic/unwelcoming so definitely stopping those now. The COq10 I have ordered includes a small dose of vitamin c that's safe so will use that instead.

xxlannixx · 05/05/2020 08:55

@Ltay2 shame AF is making an appearance for you, when is AF due? Ohh whats COQ10 supplements?
Im 9 or 10dpo. Only got the sore boobs and tiredness. Not aching or crampy like i normally get before AF but just dont feel like this month will be my month so just waiting.

@xxlannixx AF on the way for me, had cramps now for 6 days and some spotting yesterday so think that's me out for this month. Feeling positive for the next month though. Ordered some COQ10 supplements so hoping they will help.

How are you doing?

xxlannixx · 05/05/2020 08:28

How are you all getting on?

Sorry to hear @Fifol loving your positivity though.
I stupidly took a test today at only 7dpo because my OH insists i am pregnant. Obviously it was a BFN. Im so tired and eating everything in sight which is different to other months. Still got sore boobs which os norm before AF. Its just a waiting game isnt it.

@Fifol That's too. Whilst disappointing it's nice to have a bright side. If and when my AF appears I will be looking forward to a boiling hot bath and a glass of something alcoholic haha.

Fifol · 03/05/2020 10:00

Not sure @Ltay2 but wishing you lots of luck.

It is so hard. But looking on the bright side I can have a glass of wine tonight. Just keep telling myself it will happen when it's right for us x

Ltay2 · 03/05/2020 09:28

@Fifol Oh I'm so sorry 💕 I'm awaiting AF too. Had cramps for 3-4 days now so think that's a bit too long to be implantation cramps.

Fifol · 03/05/2020 09:09

After awful cramps all night long I've woken up to AF today. Wasnt expecting her til Tuesday. Gutted x

Fifol · 02/05/2020 11:01

@walkingchuckydoll I think the ideal situation is to just relax and forget about it during the tww but in reality it's very hard! I obviously try not to symptom spot as of course many twinges mean absolutely nothing but again when you're so hopeful it's hard isn't it x

Luz192 · 02/05/2020 10:34

@Ltay2, @nina468 - we went via NHS. We did have to say we had been trying for 12 months, which some will frown upon, however we pay our taxes and barely ever use the NHS services. My intuition was telling me to get checked, and sure enough something was wrong. If we'd have waited 12 months, we'd have been none the wiser! They're very easy initial tests to conduct.

Ltay2 · 02/05/2020 09:17

@walkingchuckydoll I think next month I will do that. The waiting this month has driven me crazy so next month will just try and be calm and wait until AF has appeared, or not appeared. Just difficult when working at home alone in lockdown with nothing else to do!

walkingchuckydoll · 02/05/2020 09:14

Symptom spotting doesn't work IME. I always feel more pregnant when I'm not and feel nothing when I am (till about 8 weeks). Testing early drove me crazy too, because if I had a negative I would test the next day too, and the next et cerera. What helped me is realise that I don't really know till 14 dpo so to not symptom spot or test till then no matter what. I still couldn't totally relax but it was less stressful than the early testing and symptom spotting.

Ltay2 · 02/05/2020 09:09

@xxlannixx Thank you! I'm hoping so. Not going to test again now until at least Tuesday, then AF is due on Thursday.

xxlannixx · 02/05/2020 09:07

Ohh thats early enough not to rule yourself out. Just hoping you get those two lines you deserve
