Half way through the 2WW and just feel deflated

How's everyone doing? I'm encountering a very frustrating situation where I've been spotting for a couple of days then nothing, but still feel very much like I'm due on so trying not to get my hopes up. I don't keep tests at home otherwise I go crazy, but I might have to get one when I go food shopping this week if it carries on! Why do our bodies play tricks on us like this 😂

@xxlannixx I'm not really sure I feel a bit bloated and one boob is very veiny but neither are sore. The problem is I can't remember if that's normal for this point in
my cycle so I'm trying to make an effort to record everything in Flo this month so if it happens again next month I'm not second guessing it and will know it's not a symptom. From that you can probably gather I'm expecting bfn this month lol.

We only managed to BD once on the date I should have ovulated (only
Going by apps this month) so very unlikely but as there's a chance I'm now in the anxious 2 week wait at approx 6 DPO.

I had a CP last cycle (wasn’t planned but we were not avoiding either) and started af on 9th (originally due 30/3 - first vvvvvf ic on 1/4). I used Flo and Natural Cycles (temping) and both apps have their disagreements on o date. I have been using Flo longer but only started to temp in March on NC. Around CD11 I started to use Clearblue digital opk and had 2 days of blank before a flashing smiley (all on fmu) Flo put my O to be CD18 so on CD16’s afternoon, I did another opk and got a solid smiley so I had a feeling O would be late Saturday eve to early Sunday morning. We dtd on CD14 & CD17 cos I told my OH I rather have quality 😅. I read somewhere that it takes 6hrs for sperms to get to where they need to be so I wanted to make sure they are there when O happened. We didn’t dtd on O date.
I Temped as well and NC thinks I O on CD19 but I think that’s incorrect (as it would be well over 48hrs since lh surge first detected - I used internet cheapies opk on CD17/18/19 and from afternoon of CD18 it started to get fainter). Either way I knew sth would be there if it happened anytime btw cd17-19. All I can recommend is try pin point o date to 24-48hrs and dtd before when you think o would be. You want them there ready to go when the egg drops. Sorry for going so technical 😅 This is our first month actually ttc. I was devastated from the previous cp so was determined 🤦‍♀️ It is possible that I’m more fertile this month (essentially every 3 days after af is gone we dtd till as close to o as possible)
Unfortunately like my friend said to me - it’s a number game. Just have to give it your best shot.
I started to test on 9dpo, negative.
10dpo - fmu such a faint line on IC that my friend n I couldn’t agree if it was evap. Tested multiple times during the day and got better but still faint positive
11 dpo fmu darker line on IC, neg free but faint line ic on smu
12 dpo fmu borderline stark white (my heart sank), later on 2hrs hold smu very faint line on frer- shocked was an understatement. CBD 1-2 weeks in the afternoon under 4hrs hold
today 13 dpo fmu darker IC but fainter FRER (compared to the day before and respective brands). Better IC on smu and 1-2 weeks on cbd in the afternoon.
AF due tmr or Monday - depends on if I’m looking at Flo or Natural Cycles. Fingers crossed & baby dust to everyone

An emotional roller coaster today for 12 DPO. Almost stark white for the 5 ic this morning on fmu - all night hold. My heart literally sunk then I tried again with 2.5 hrs hold and to my surprise they were better but not blazing positive or anything. Again shortly after that -1.5hrs I thought screw it let’s try frer-v v faint line came up within 2-3 mins - much clearer after dry but faint. The IC I tried this time also had faint line (clearer than this morning). This was my first ever pos Frer, it was neg on wed 10DPO while IC had lines after lines. Just under 4hrs later, I decided to try cbd and to my surprised it came back with 1-2 weeks.
Currently in shock, still trying to digest the result but AF is due Sun/Mon.

@tetebeche same for me.. I was having tons of AF symptoms earlier this week although nothing much in the last couple of days... AF due today according to my app and it's usually pretty reliable.

I'm 99% sure I'm out this month, feeling totally normal for this time of the month. This particular TWW has felt like the longest one yet

I woke up very down this morning, defeated especially yesterday I couldn’t resist to poas. It was negative as expected. I couldn’t resist and tested again this morning and to my surprise vv faint line. Tried again @11 & 3, all same results - vv faint on IC but I’m finding it hard to get excited - somehow it hasn’t sunk in. It probably won’t until a positive on Frer or CBD. (Did try one frer and it was neg). CD10 so still got a bit to go

Think everyone here is feeling down at the moment, it's hard isn't it. But our time will come, we have to believe it!!! Baby dust to all of us x

@iswhois - same situation exactly.. tested yesterday and AF due on Friday... at this point just counting down the days and waiting for it to appear and I'm having tons of PMS symptoms so i'm pretty sure it will turn up any time now. Pretty new to this process and didn't expect it to be so frustrating and discouraging...

Well ladies, i'm out! AF turned up this morning a day late after lots of symptoms that had me thinking possibly otherwise so it's been a pretty disappointing morning, but i'm starting to wrap my head around it now. Going to enjoy some wine and sun since there's not much else to do and wait for our next chance of trying to come round!

Good luck to this still in TWW, and to all those getting ready to start the next cycle! This will all be worth it in the end!

Sorry to hear @Meomeomeo... I hope things work out better for you this month. I'm hoping sharing on these forums keeps me somewhat sane..

If AF doesn't show up by Sunday I think I'll test then (should be due by Friday).
The only issue is willpower! I only have expensive tests left and don't want to waste them testing too early..

Joining you on this tww drag. I’m on 10dpo today, had a CP last month where it was vv faint to faint positive only to turned neg after. We weren’t trying but weren’t preventing either so it was a shock to us and obviously devastating after. Tried to dust myself off and convincing myself that it would happen again but still. This is our first cycle ttc but I just feel so deflated. Very moody if you can’t tell already and I’m trying not to symptoms spotting.

Hi @tetebeche. I think we're in the same boat. Seems like a good place for some support and where we can talk about this with people who understand. I'm having PMS signs too and also planning to put off testing until Sunday if AF doesnt show up. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
