Ok, girls, our last thread did get crazy long so I am starting this one. If you don't like the name - well... too bad You'll get used to it over time .

ILTC, hi there sista! I feel like we're SO alike. Can you believe that my bleeding started again today? I was quite . And out of all places it started in a zoo when we were watching little sheep at the "petting zoo" section with DS and DH. Grrreat!~ Hope you're feeling better and this mess if over soon for all of us .

Rosybelle, hi there~ [sends a wave] Com'on over - sorry you're here but it's easier to get through things together. If you read my previous posts you know what I have to say - ERPC (or D&C) all the way. Good luck!

Scully, hi... you sound like me... actually my DH who is very much doubting TCC'ing again. And that's just after one MC! Well... we did have a stillborn DD1 but went on to have a beautiful DS. What would have happened if we got scared back then and didn't do it. Ooops, promised not to talk about it until mid-Oct. That's when my MC blood/ tissue results are back from the lab to tell us what was wrong with the baby. We agreed we wouldn't make any decisions until we find out.

Cricri, I know you won't be chechking this thread until later but hope your weekend in Holland is fab!

Hugs and smooches to all!

well, i think the evil witch is with me, but i am not sure. i am cramping a lot but only spotting a bit. however its more than last time, which must have been the implantation bleeding in june.
so i guess that makes me CD1 again.

i am bummed, bummed, bummed...
my family keep on arguing with each other and flouncing out, i blubbed during my deep massage at the spa in bath, i keep doing tests and they are negative - aargh!

on a positive note, i suppose its ok that everything is back in working order, if this is AF. and i am back home tomorrow and get the keys to my new flat.

and my dad just bought me fish and chips

hope everyone is doing great!
CONGRATULATIONS goingfor3 - that is super news xxx

Right, decided that we need a bit of a giggle to relieve the tension. So, if you feel the need, try listening to some of these songs (not while kids are in the room though). Anyone who's easily offended, don't listen.

Hope that the link works.

katendmom · 18/09/2007 18:41

Hi all ~sends a big wave~ I'm really glad to see new faces. You know what I mean - I'd rather see us all on a different thread but what I'm saying is that it seems that our new thread's name is inviting and welcome and folks can find us. That's great

BIG HUG to all my MN'ers friends who're feeling down. I'm going to say something and you'll get mad at me but I do that all the time so here it goes - do not play the date game. EDD/ DPO/ MCed... you can't undo the past. You just cannot. When we lost our DD at 35 wks pg I felt like the world had stopped and tomorrow would never come. Well, life is just like that - tomorrow comes. And of course I remember the date of her passing away (or at least when we were told that she passed away) but... our entire life consists of dates... and if you relive past dates or would-have dates - you might be missing out on today. I really-really don't want to upset anybody because I care so much about you... but let's try to step away from "would have/ could have." Let's concentrate on "will"

They talk so much about your emotional well-being having a direct impact on your health and pg in particular. Maybe so many get pg so easily at a younger age because they're less bugged down with life...

I am with each and every of you. All our experiences are major and deserve proper respect. But all of you deserve a happy and wonderful day. Let's have one

goingfor3 - why sad? hot flushes are normal, as is queasy feelings. And if you're bending over the dishwasher, that might explain the back pain. Don't lose hope! Hope you're feeling better soon!

Still spotting today. My body is officially aggravating me now. Too early to test. Too early for AF. This is my third day of spotting and cramping, although it does seem to be letting up a little bit. At work today, I must have gone to the toilet about 50 times, thinking "ok, I think AF has started..." and nope. Do we have a smiley for "insane person" ?? I think I'm going to be needing it soon!

goingfor3 · 18/09/2007 17:57

Hello ladies, I'm not feeling to hopeful at the moment. When I was loading the dishwasher I sudeenly felt really hot, quesy and I had the worse lower backpain ever. It stopped after a couple of minutes but has left me feeling really sad.

iliketosleep · 18/09/2007 11:32

waiting for dc to come out of school yesterday dp was making a joke and said jesus shes fat! and nodded towards.....you guessed it a pregnant woman, as soon as he realised what he said he shut up. Lol

goingfor3 · 18/09/2007 11:30

cricri - It's good to hear that you don't have to have an ERCP. I hope you have a relaxing day.

I feel really down when I see pregnant women. One of the mums at school posted on facebook that she was pregnant with her third child and that really upset me, I don't know how I would feel if it was someone close to me. I told one of my friends yesterday that I am pregnant as we hboth strted trying in January and both had an m/c, she said congratulations but I could also see that she was hurt adn I know that I would feel the same way too if she had made the announcement to me. I'm really hoping she gets pregnant soon.

cricri · 18/09/2007 11:24

Morning all.
Thanks for your kind thoughts and sorry to hear some of you are feeling down today. It isn't easy seeing pg women and babies everywhere and thinking of what might have been
My scan went OK and the doctor took the view that there was no need for the ERPC so I was very relieved! I was able to go home after a quick spell in the day surgery unit whilst waiting for an assessment. Rosybelle - I hope you can get a slot where somebody has cancelled. It must happen all the time - they were chasing me this morning to find out what was going on so that they could fit somebody else in if I didn't need the op.
I'm now going to take the rest of the day off (I work from home and am self-employed) as I was really busy with work last week, then we had our weekend in Holland, so I've not really had any time to sit down, relax and come to terms with what has happened.
Hope everybody else is OK and having a good day. xx

lottie7 · 18/09/2007 10:54

herbaceous You poor thing, you must be really down. It's not easy when someone so close to you gets pregnant with ease. However I'm sure your sister worried about breaking the news to you that she was pregnant. It is coming up to my (what would have been) edd and there seems to be pregnant women whereever I look! I keep telling myself that it will just make it even more magical when it finally happens.

RosyBelle · 18/09/2007 10:32

morning girls

thnks for all your support... I tried to be strong Kat - I demanded she check the other 2 hospitals in my area but she came back & said they had an even longer waiting list! I am going in tomorrow for pre-assessment and will ask again if I can have a cancellation...

so here I am still waiting! Don't worry sweetkitty - thats how I view it... I don't know how they view a dead baby lying in my uterus - obviously not high priority!!

Have a good day everyone
R
xx

nh101 · 18/09/2007 10:12

Hey Herby, I know how you feel with other people getting Pg when it is all you desperately want. Any news from the experts on your situation? Did you ever get your homocysteine checked?

Sorry for AFs Kensgirl and Cricri - my due date from my MC is next Tuesday and I am hoping for BFP this weekend. If I don't get it I am going to be so down. At least you have people here who understand.

Goingfor3 - I have had a dip in my temp this morning! (9DPO) I have gone from 36.9 to 36.79. Fingers crossed that means implantation. I am going to be so gutted if it is not!

Am trying to hold out till Sat to test.

ladylush · 18/09/2007 10:10

Kensgirl sorry about the evil witch arriving hun Here's a virtual large glass of wine.

ladylush · 18/09/2007 10:09

herbaceous. Nothing I can say to cheer you up but I understand what you mean about people who plan their babies and actually pull it off. It seemed to work for me the first time but failed three times since. I had a much more hedonistic lifestyle when ds was conceived too - so bloody unfair. I seem to deny myself a new pleasure every time I try again - alcohol, caffeine, less wheat more wholegrains etc etc. I'm bloody pissed off with it tbh. BUT I do know I am very lucky to have ds (sometimes it doesn't feel lucky when he has us up 3 times a night 2 nights running - he's not a baby either, he's 3)and I hope very much that you conceive (and keep) yours soon

herbaceous · 18/09/2007 09:46

Hello girls

Sorry for not reading all the messages. Stuck in a grim Travelodge, having not slept all night after finding out my younger sis is pregnant with her third baby. It's my EDD from my march miscarriage soon, and I'm really churned up about it all. While I'm happy for her, I guess, I can't help feeling bitter the way it seems so easy for some people - planning their babies for certain times, two years apart, etc etc, and for me it's four mcs in two years and no children at all. It's not FAIR.

winemakesmummyclever · 18/09/2007 09:38

Morning,

Just had to bugger about with the broadband connection (again) - the thought of a whole day without MN !

Kensgirl - no worries, it's [email protected]. I asked my sister and she said she could fit you in on a Tuesday as she does sessions (£35 per treatment) at the Quaker House (nr Beluga in town) if you could get down there. If you can't, then I;ll ask her if she knows anyone else a bit more local to you. Sorry about AF arriving .

Lottie7 - sorry about your loss. Hope that we can help you through the edd time. I think I change my mind about ttc at least 10 times a day.

Cricri - so glad you enjoyed Holland. Hope that you are ok today & that the scan goes well.

Rosy - that is awful. I would ring/see them and tell them that you cannot wait that long.

Went to lunch with friends/old workmates yesterday. One of them said "oooh, you're looking really well. When are you due again?" Cue awkward silence, then I said "erm, I'm not". She'd been on holiday and no-one had told her about the m/c. Bless her, I think she was just as thrown off balance as me. Apart from that, had a lovely time & was very happy not to be at work anymore as they told me all the gossip/horror tales of the latest stupid management crackdowns.

Better go and get ds ready - he's got a strange rash on his leg so we're off to the GP.

Have a good day all of you - hope that the sunshine stays a bit longer .

Lcy · 18/09/2007 08:42

It is never to late to join - welcome Lottie

Right i am off to work with wet hair because i slept in - still had time to mums net [grin}

goingfor3 · 18/09/2007 08:14

lottie7 I'm really sorry to hear you mc'd. Good luck for next month.

lottie7 · 18/09/2007 08:12

Hi everyone, wondering if it's ok for me to join you? I wasn't sure which group on Mumsnet suited me best. I think it is this one! Hope it's not too late to join in?
I had a m/c earlier this year, I would have been due in a few weeks (oct). I thought I was fine about it but now I'm getting close to my what would of been due date it is on my mind all the time! My DH and myself decided we were not going to have anymore, we already have a little girl who is nearly 3. However the closer we get to October the more we are changing our minds. It's too late to start trying this month, but I think next month will be the month for us to TTC. Well that's a little bit about myself. Good luck to all of you who are TTC, congratulations to all of you who are pregnant again and I'm sorry to anyone who is MC'ing or who has MC'ed.

iliketosleep · 18/09/2007 00:41

sweetkitty, theres a lovely silver tabby and hes all fluffy and has the cutest chubbiest little face ever ive gotta try and get some pics. The 3 week oldlitter are all boys so you can imagine what fun it is hehe

sweetkitty · 17/09/2007 23:01

ILTS - I have 3 cats and that would drive me mad, poor you, your cats sound lovely though and the kittens I would take one in a shot.

cricri - glad you enjoyed Holland shame about the mc but at least you can get it over and doen with, once the physical side is over you can concentrate on the emotional side.

kensgirl - so sorry about AF take it easy

Rosy - that is s* about the D&C I don't think they truly realise the effect of knowing you have a dead baby (sorry don't know how else to put it) inside you does for you, one minute your pregnant the next your whole world is turned upside down and you just have to wait am so for you, hope you get in quicker

mcchesers - I think the persona is used for contraception but you can use it for predicting ovulation, you get a green light if it's ok to BD and a red light if it's not, there will be other threads on it on here so have a look, if you still want it email me at slrobertson002 at hotmail dot com x

triggles - I agree temping must be a pain I an hardly remember to wee on my stick in the morning, keeping everything crossed for you though

mcchesers · 17/09/2007 22:00

Rosybelle - Hang in there. If you can you might phone back the EPU and get on a waiting list. There's a few ladies on this board who were scheduled for some kind of procedure and were unable to attend their appointments due to natural progression of their MC. Those slots become available for the next person to come along.
I went with the medical evac (pill) because I could not get an appointment for D&C right away. It was suggested that I wait, but I phoned up crying after waiting 21 days for something to happen naturally. I was going mad waiting so I know it's just awful. (((hugs)))

cricri - You are dead right about that mind taking longer than the body to heal thing but you do get there. It's good that we have a place to talk about it. I'm glad you had a good time in Holland.

iliketosleep · 17/09/2007 21:45

lets hope not, shes been every bastard under the sun on the AIBU thread haha

katendmom · 17/09/2007 21:39

ILTS do you even have to ask?! What's her number? I'll give her a "warm and fuzz" buzz and give her a piece of my mind! I don't imagine she is a MNer?!

Kensgirl - so sorry its CD1 for you. I know its sooo hard. Try and stay strong.

Ladylush - Good luck with the school - they grow up so fast don't they.

ROsybelle - grr at your behalf - hope your ds/d's first day at school goes well.

Cricri - good luck with the scan.
