Ok, girls, our last thread did get crazy long so I am starting this one. If you don't like the name - well... too bad You'll get used to it over time .

ILTC, hi there sista! I feel like we're SO alike. Can you believe that my bleeding started again today? I was quite . And out of all places it started in a zoo when we were watching little sheep at the "petting zoo" section with DS and DH. Grrreat!~ Hope you're feeling better and this mess if over soon for all of us .

Rosybelle, hi there~ [sends a wave] Com'on over - sorry you're here but it's easier to get through things together. If you read my previous posts you know what I have to say - ERPC (or D&C) all the way. Good luck!

Scully, hi... you sound like me... actually my DH who is very much doubting TCC'ing again. And that's just after one MC! Well... we did have a stillborn DD1 but went on to have a beautiful DS. What would have happened if we got scared back then and didn't do it. Ooops, promised not to talk about it until mid-Oct. That's when my MC blood/ tissue results are back from the lab to tell us what was wrong with the baby. We agreed we wouldn't make any decisions until we find out.

Cricri, I know you won't be chechking this thread until later but hope your weekend in Holland is fab!

Hugs and smooches to all!

hello all!!!! will have a good catch up tonight when i'm at ahem work.

my dd is back to school today after time off with chickn pox, and i have a pile of ironing to tackle to celbrate!!!

af due Sunday. keep getting hopeful (eg boobs sore earlier than last cycle) but mustn't get hopes ups cos if af comes it comes, and if it doeasn't i'll be ultra stressed about m/c again! argh!

flosspot · 19/09/2007 11:56

Fingers crossed ilts nh temping has until recently been pointless for me. But do currently have consistently high temp, with one dip. Trying not to read anything into it!!!

Hello all

goingfor3 · 19/09/2007 11:42

nh101 - I really hope you do get your bfp before monday, it won't take away the pain but will give you hope for the future. I'll send lots of positive vibes you way.

nh101 · 19/09/2007 11:36

Good luck ilts!

Goingfor3 - I am OK this morning - my temp went back up so I had a dip from 36.9 to 36.74 and back to 36.94 today (10DPO) so I am hopeful but trying not to get my hopes up too much. Why try to kid myself though? I might as well just get dead excited and hope for the best cos nothing is going to make it better if AF comes on Monday the day before my EDD

goingfor3 · 19/09/2007 11:25

Good luck Ilts, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I think cranbery juice is for cystitis but will try anything at the moment!

iliketosleep · 19/09/2007 11:22

hi everyone, how are you all

Well..............
ttc has officially commenced

lottie7 · 19/09/2007 11:18

goingfor3 Make sure you drink plenty of Cranberry Juice and water. Don't drink orange juice though as it will be no good for your bladder.
Hope it clears up soon.

goingfor3 · 19/09/2007 11:02

nh101 - I think the backache took me by suprise, I had it a few times around ov but it's probably because I've damaged my back slouching over the pc to use mumsnet! How are you feeling this morning?

goingfor3 · 19/09/2007 11:01

Good morning ladies,

Lottie7, Ronshar and nh101 I'm really sorry your EDD are comming up soon

RosyBelle - sorry you have to wait until next week for your ercp.

Kateandmom - you are such a positive thinker!

I tried to take another test this morning because I had one left but I pee on the window, I resisted buying another. I keep feeling really light headed and I was like that last time I was pregnant so I see it as a good sign as I think it's because my body has to adjust to the pregnancy hormones. My thrush has got even worse and I couldn't get an emergency dr's appointment today unless I was willing to travel to the practice on the other side of town, I will try again in the morning and try to cut out sugar too.

nh101 · 19/09/2007 10:59

Goingfor3 - I read that the days leading up to when your period is due is when you most feel like AF is going to come but it doesn't cos you are PG! So pains etc are to be expected. You period is not even due till Saturday so it is all normal I am sure.

lottie7 · 19/09/2007 10:17

goingfor3- How are you feeling today? I'm thinking of you.

winemakesmummyclever · 19/09/2007 09:48

Where is everybody?

ronshar · 18/09/2007 23:05

I have just finished off the bottle I opened on Sunday. Sorry didnt think to offer

NH101. You are right of course I dont really know why I am even worrying about months when I have to actually get pregnant again! At the moment seems to be slim to no chance!

Lottie7. I am in the same boat, my little on was due Oct 6th. Although saying that I was the full 15 days overdue with both my dds so I could be in for two weeks of miserableness! Is that a word?

winemakesmummyclever · 18/09/2007 22:34

Nope, it's def the keyboard. It's right as rain now. It does it every now and then, despite being only a few months old.

Did have to share wine with dh though. Will have to do a costco run soon as my mum and dad, sister and niece appear to have cleaned us out of lots and lots of alcohol while we were away . Kind of like when you were teenagers and your folks left you home alone with the assurance that you would do nothing silly.

katendmom · 18/09/2007 22:31

To all my fellow MNer readers ~ I was in a silly mood one day and posted this
DD or DS after MC - unscientific research

Check it out - so far DDs are winning over DSs!

katendmom · 18/09/2007 22:27

"keyboard going funny again" or all that wine that you just polished without sharing?! Com'on! Tell us! JUST KIDDING

Glad you enjoyed it! Virtual glass is O-K by me

Cheers!

katendmom · 18/09/2007 22:25

winemakesmummyclever don't be silly. If we have to appologize to each other for what we say/ post ~ this will stop being fun really fast! You're sweet for thinking of your friend but you know - she might be just ok and has moved on with her life... Like today while I was mopping floors (a very moving experience) I just realized that the best friend of mine who told me the other day that they're expecting (she told me that on my D&C day, not knowing) is due at exactly the same time that I would have if I didn't lose my pg/ baby. Shocked me for a moment but then oh well... all it means is that my DC2 will be a bit younger than hers

OP posts:
winemakesmummyclever · 18/09/2007 22:24

Ooops, that should read "mahoosive bucket" . It's the keyboard going funny again, honest

winemakesmummyclever · 18/09/2007 22:23

Katendmom - sorry, have drunk all the sancerre that is on offer in our house tonight, so can only offer you a virtual glass

winemakesmummyclever · 18/09/2007 22:21

Rosybelle - good luck for your appointment tomorrow.

katendmom · 18/09/2007 22:21

Rosybelle I will be thinking of you. Stand your grounds. Be up front if you have to. Do tell them - "you do realize that I have been carrying a dead baby in me for xx days, right?" And then just pause... Let's them chew on it. If they don't get you in right away after that - I don't know what will!

Don't mind pg girls around you. First of all - you don't know what some of them might have had in lives past. You don't know what's ahead of them (I just read a thread the other day when a girl decided to go full term knowing in advance that her baby had an illness that was incompatible with life! She wanted to give the baby all the dignity of birth/life/death and didn't want to terminate her pg.) Right-wrong-or indifferent - she could have been one of the pgers sitting next to you...

Life is all about perspectives. I strongly believe that we all (well, those who want and plan on that) have babies in the future. The "future" is the key word. Our pg were delayed, that's all. BIG HUG TO YOUGoingfor3 you're our lucky charm! Please don't worry ~ I know you have had different experiences in the past but imagine how upset you're when you're sitting with your lo in your arms thinking "Gosh, I wish I enjoyed my pg. It really was all that Christmas Eve leading to this beautiful Christmas gift!" You'll be kicking yourself for sure. Don't say I didn't warn you! So pleeeease, try to relax and enjoy. You have a beautiful little life in you - that's special!

For all the rest of my MNers ~ hope you're doing well. I noticed nobody has offered a glass of wine lately. What's up with that?

Good news in my household for a change ~ we had to take DS for a hearing test this morning. He has had a number of ear infections and at this point he is 19 month and still doesn't talk. So they wanted to rule out any hearing loss. I was so scared but my little bumble bee passed the test - he can hear perfectly! He just doesn't listen like a typical toddler LOL. I am so relieved ~ now tomorrow brings another task. We have to meet with a speech pathologist but oh well... That's life I guess

winemakesmummyclever · 18/09/2007 22:19

TJuice - so sorry to see that you think you're back to CD1. Keep on trying and it will happen for you.

Herby - how are you? It really is so difficult to hear of others getting pg. My best friend and I were pg together. I went on to have ds, whilst she sadly miscarried. She has been a fantastic friend & support, but I still think of how she feels when she sees ds growing up.

G43 - it may have just been the heat/steam & bending over that caused the symptoms. Plus, you have all those hormones rushing around inside you at the moment, so they'll be playing havoc too. Try to get some rest and try not to worry too much (not easy I know).

Katendmom - posted my link before I read the thread properly and feel bad now as I don't want to appear flippant or to trivialise how people are feeling or what they have been through. Just wanted to bring a bit of levity to the thread to those who wanted it. Good to see you are being as positive as ever.

Hope everyone sleeps well.

sweetkitty · 18/09/2007 21:53

G43 - oh I hope not early pregnancy leaves you feeling awful could be completely something else

rosybelle - hope it goes your way tomorrow best of luck x

TJuice - I have been told to count the first day you have to use a tampon or pad as CD1

katendmom - thats a lovely post ty

everyone else have a good night x

RosyBelle · 18/09/2007 21:45
