Testing around 13th May

@Sussexbysea @SmileyT The problem is I'm not sure anymore if I really am late or not. My cycles can go from 27-33 days and my method for detecting ovulation was only my CM. Since I had brown spotting right around then I figured that was it, but when I had pink spotting on May 2nd was exactly CD 18, the same day flo predicted ovulation on my only recorded 33day cycle. So at this point I'm just confused all around, but I did take a midday test after work yesterday and got a negative. I thought maybe something might show if I'd slept long enough, but woke up after 4hrs, so I'll check tomorrow morning. But hey, the cramps left so that's good, and if AF isn't here by Monday then I'll be late no matter what.

Big fat nothing on a FRER this morning and the familiar feeling that AF will be here any day. Ahh well, I shall get drunk this weekend and reset! Good luck to everyone else!

Hi everyone sorry to jump on this post!
I ovulated I think on the 4th of May (currently 9dpo) this is my first month TTC baby #2 and I’ve tested the last 2 days with extremely faint results so much so that I’m just deeming them as negative to be honest(pic attached). I am just here to moan really because honestly I thought I would be so much more chilled this time around and if anything I’m so much worse! I caught pregnant the first month with my DS and I feel like maybe that was all just a fluke and its bound not to happen again so easily this time! I know I shouldn’t be testing this early but I can’t help it I feel like I’m becoming obsessive with it! I’ve done one blue dye test on 7dpo and then 2 red dye cheap strip tests on 8dpo and they’re all coming up with a weird barely there line where I feel like I get a headache trying to look for it. Then I did another strip this morning with FMU and it didn’t do anything so god knows! I don’t necessarily trust FMU either because when I was pregnant with my son I got a super strong line at 8pm 12dpo and the next day At 13dpo with FMU it was really faint and then I was terrified I was loosing the pregnancy! I know full well I need to just wait until my expected period date now to test again which is still a few days away (18/05) . I’m going crazy over here someone please help me feel better (pic attached of weird unreadable results that are driving me insane) haha! Thank you all so much! And I am wishing you all the best x

@hayho87 you definitely aren't out yet! I think it's really funny how we each react to symptoms. I have no symptoms and take that as a good sign as I usually get cramps before AF. Although actually I do have a bit of nausea since last night, and I've taken that as a bad sign as I've had nausea with pms before. And different for @Sussexbysea too.

I just pray the next few days go quickly!

@SewingAddict419 keeping us in suspense! You can do a test any time of day. Best try to wee-hold for 4hrs before. Was nervousness keeping you awake?

Also, glad I didn't get to the shops for a test before now because guess what just showed up?! Yep, my period! A truly cosmic joke.

I know exactly what you mean, I keep trying to push everything to the back of my mind as I find if I don’t it takes over and it’s all I think about 🙈

@BbyBx2 thanks for the welcome! Yes looking like 3 days late at this point and my cycles are pretty regular so 🤞 I'll try to pick up a test today. I just can't help but feel it's just a late period though - either instinct or my mind trying to protect me from disappointment I suppose!

So your roughly around 3 days late for AF? I think you should definitely do a test. Sounds as though you could be, given your symptoms. Exciting!!

@Sussexbysea When was AF due? Hoping your cramps are a sign of something else and not AF. Keep us posted.

Hi everyone, do you mind if I join? I'm driving myself absolutely bananas and due to test around the same time as many in this group! Congrats on the BFPs and for those still waiting - good luck!

AF due Sunday just gone. I had my usual PMS symptoms so figured I was out and just wanted my period to come so I could start again! On Sunday I had a tiny amount of light red blood when I wiped only, then tiny amount of spotting on Sunday and Monday. Nothing yesterday. This is very unusual for me as I'm normally fully into it by this time of my cycle! But I do feel a heaviness in my uterus which would normally be accompanied by a period... Just to explain why I've absolutely lost my mind this month!

I don't keep tests in the house so I guess I'll need to get one with my next shop just to confirm either way. I'm pretty certain AF is just late though and playing tricks... So frustrating!

Not much to update from me, as normally day before AF is due, I have zero symptoms. I never get any warning she's coming, literally get cramps as soon as bleeding starts so I definitely believe I'm out now! Would have been lovely to get bfp this month as yesterday was our wedding anniversary but on to next month!

I've woken up in the dead of night and can't go back to sleep so it looks like I'll have to wait another day to test 😩

@TTCgee my OH did say it was like bonjela but I then stopped telling him I was putting it in and just used less 😐

@SmileyT oooh thank you for the advice! Other half is definitely skeptical! He thinks I'm trying too hard (which I definitely am) and that we should just relax and let it happen - but just can't seem to stop myself googling things that might help and then thinking 'if I do that it might speed it up'

Ahh that's good news - hoping that I also see the obvious signs of ovulation this month then I might be able to relax a little more! Xxx

@TTCgee I've tried preseed and one thing I'd say is use it sparingly, I use about half the amount they recommend 🙈 I also track BBT its my first full month but it was nice to see id ovulated by a clear shift in temp the day afterwards 🤗

@lucymagoo awww I so hope you do get your BFP but yesss it's so hard.

I've just ordered some presseed to try this month so will let you all know how it goes. Has anyone else tried that?

Also, does anyone track BBT? Just started a few days ago but haven't got a clue what I'm doing really 😂
