Testing around 13th May

Does anyone else wish they could switch their brain off during the ttw! I'm 4/5dpo today. I've had cramps strong enough I though my period had come early and kept going to check, also had a shooting pain on my right side really low down for about a minute. I think I ovulated on my left side though 😑 It's just so frustrating!

Hi Everyone hope it's ok for me to join! 4th cycle for our first. AF due around 10th so hopefully going to hold off testing until then.

Haven't used OPKs since first cycle because I felt obsessive and it took over my life! But every month I have one day of EWCM, had none this month tho so not sure what that means 😩

Fingers crossed next weekend we start to see some BFP in here 🤞🏻 xx

Has anyone else found that their cycle different during lockdown? For the last 10 months, I’ve gotten a peak on OPKs like clockwork on CD11 (normally 30/31 day cycles) but this month it’s shifted to CD16.

No idea what that means but I’m working on the assumption that change is at least interesting?! Hope is so cruel though.

I started trying bbt / tracking my temp this week and somewhat alarmed to see temps mostly in the 35.0 region with the occasional jump into a low 36.0.

Husband has long suspected I am infact a White Walker due to my ice cold feet... maybe he’s right?!

I'm due to test somewhere between the 11-13th. Had a miscarriage in March at 5 weeks so feeling quite nervous. Think I'm having implantation pain but could just be wishful thinking. Good luck everyone.

@SmileyT sorry to hear about your MC that must of been awful as if this wasn't an emotional rollercoaster enough. Hopefully we'll both be lucky this month hoping to see lots of BFPs from everyone in this group 🤞😊

@Positevibes yeah this makes sense about being able to be referred for more tests. It's my first full cycle post MC in March so wasn't sure I'd be able to take the pain of a negative or CP but your Dr is right it's better to know. Hoping you've already got a sticky bean in there getting ready to nestle in next week 🤞

But yeah definitely puts more pressure on the sex, I'm only in first full month of trying and I see why people end up arguing if the guy is too tired on fertile week 😩

@SmileyT I was going to try and be good this month and wait but after having two chemical pregnancies and talking to my doctor she advised to test a couple of days earlier than AF so we can keep track of anymore chemicals I may have as she will refer me for other tests sooner if I have another one so it's a bit grim but good that the doctor is trying to be helpful. I'm not going to lie I'm pretty knackered now after the last week of DTD. 😂😂 having sex to a schedule definitely takes the sexiness out of sex

@LV1987 it took 6 months off the pill to get to the regular 30-32day cycles I've had since. So hopefully you'll be getting there soon. I still get several spells of ewcm though. Guess that's just normal for me. Fairly confident ovulation has been & gone so guess I'm in the TWW.

@Positevibes just saw that you ran out of opks for Thursday so yeah would make sense if the line is getting weaker that you had ovulated. Id probably do the opks over the next few days just to see if it comes a bit later but if other signs were there for ovulation on Thursday you've probably done enough. Twice in one day really is a distant memory for us 🙈 will you be testing early or waiting for AF?

@Skyla01 I am so relieved I'm not the only one! For the last two months, I've had EWCM on CD15 - it's almost as if I'm gearing up to ovulate but don't quite manage it. My cycles are a little long, ranging from 44 - 36 since coming off the pill at the end of last year. I think they are starting to level out a bit now, as last month was the first period I've had since stopping the pill which seemed "proper" if you know what I mean. How about you? 🤞 For BFPs!

@LV1987 glad it isn't just me! I often get ewcm about cd14, then again around cd18, but this cycle must have had more cd22 or something. Weird! How long are your cycles? I know what mean about a long wait to ovulation- even waiting until cd18 feels long to me.

I've done another OPK just now and it was lighter than yesterday's so I'm thinking I must of ovulated Thursday I did start feeling sick Thursday evening and I usually get that when ovulation is going to happen so hopefully we covered it 🤞🏼

Hi @Skyla01! Very similar - I had expected to ovulate on Tuesday, but got lots of ewcm on Thursday 🤷‍♀️ I also had it about a week beforehand, so who knows! I hope we've covered it either way, but if I haven't actually ovulated yet I think we will run out of steam before I do 😂 I'm CD 25 so it always seems such a long wait before I even get to the TWW

Right, going out of my mind a little. Trying to conceive. Period due on Wednesday normally period lasts 5 days, heavy/normal flow, changing pads regularly. However this Monday, a week and a bit early, I started having pink spotting. This has been on and off for five days. Sometimes I wipe, there's pink, sometimes there's not.... On three occasions its been red but its been very watery. (sorry tmi) had a bath and noticed a couple of stringy bits. Gross. I've had sore boobs, well one boob in particular for nearly 2 weeks. Could this be an implantation bleed or just an early and extremely light and easy period? I have had no period symptoms what so ever. Normally suffer with a bad back. I've barely had to change a pad and if there is anything on there. The pinkness (bleeding) also kept starting and stopping, it wasnt even a constant flow. Had sex on the 21st April (ovulation day) was due for my period 6th May but started spotting 30th May. Last period was 8th April. I'd really appreciate some help and guidence...

@SmileyT I have one pic from yesterday I did three but they all looked the same I'm going to do another one soon. Also good luck with your TWW it's feels like forever

I'm going to jump on here as I am just coming into TWE and will be testing around the 19th and would be good to see loads of BFPs to keep me occupied.

@Positevibes have you got pics of your opks? One app I use was about 6 days out predicting ovulation compared to my opks so I'd carry on testing through the next week or so x

Just wondering if anyone else tracks their BBT? I use natural cycles and it’s usually quite accurate but even though I’ve been trying to temp at the same time I usually would if I was going to work my predictions are a bit weird this month. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? Usually after ovulation my temp stays high but 2dpo I had a big dip, now (4dpo) it’s gone up again. I think it’s too early for an implantation dip?

@Skyla01 I've done 3 now they all look the same to me so I can't tell we'll just DTD tonight and I'll try another one in the morning. We've DTD everyday since Monday so fingers crossed 🤞🏼after tomorrow the TWW starts

@LV1987 hi! I'm similar in not knowing where I am. Thought I ovulated around Tuesday but got lots of fertile cm today so now I'm not so sure! Going to keep DTD regularly just in case.

@Positevibes see how you go. Would recommend cb if you still struggle with regular opks. No method is fool-proof though!

Hi all! Think I'm in the TWW as of sometime this week, but not really sure when 🤦‍♀️
I've had 13 odd days of flashy smileys on the CB digital OPKs so I think I either managed to miss my peak, or just didn't get one. In any case, due to test w/c 10th May as that will be in line with my longest cye since coming off the pill in December 😁
