TTC .... TWW wait part 2 !

@Hopesandrainbows ah no I'm sorry to hear that! I always find I have a renewed resolve at the start of a new cycle, with all the things I'm planning on doing to make it EVEN better this time lol. What cycle are you on now? I take omega 3 as well, and pregnacare, ubiquinol, and.... evening primrose oil. We can rattle together!

I'm on 4 DPO now so just bored tbh! I always worry I didn't get OD right as we stop DTD pretty much day of/day after ovulation. It usually takes two weeks for OH to recover from all that BD so if I was to ovulate late I'd be missing it each time!

@Juno231 unfortunately I got my period! On day 3 of it now 😞 and have wisdom tooth infection to add to the delight! Here's to next month!! I'm taking probiotics everyday (particularly atm to cancel out antibiotic effects) and have bought omega 3 fish oil to take after ovulation and calc Fluor. I'll be rattling! 😆😂

@Juno231 yeah I might have a glass... I’m just very aware that any little thing could lessen my chances :/ I didn’t drink leading up to ovulation this time either as I wanted to make the the environment was good for everything down there...
This is the last month I’ll be trying for a while so wanting to do it all perfectly as I can. But it’s so hard trying to be a perfect uterus.

@ripleysfirst tbh I'd still drink if I were you! Until there's a bfp it doesn't count lol. Certainly not a couple of glasses! Odds are even if you've conceived you won't have implanted by then either so foetus wouldn't even be attached to you. Then again I've always been a bit more lax about such things!

I’m 6 dpo today and it’s my 40th birthday day after tomorrow. The 2ww sucks!
Got the fridge full of booze free fizz but really wish I could have a little of the real thing...
No symptoms but then again it’s far too soon.

@Donnat89 how are you doing? Is this FW for you now?

I'm 2DPO as far I know. It'll be next week that the TWW will get to me again.

@hopesandrainbowsYeah if I didn’t track things accurately and just waited for it to magically happen I’d never get pregnant at all. I’ve been relaxing and waiting for about 5 years now. Been religiously planning since last year as I’m panicking now. Some people when they’re young seem to sneeze and get pregnant...
Although I do kinda agree with trying to chill during the 2ww as there isn’t much we can do!

It was a negative test this morning which was what I expected. Disappointed as I was so hopeful this month! I even had a pelvic exam and sonographer predicted ovulation exactly right and so we tried at the right times and before. I think the stress and upset of hearing the announcement that two colleagues at work are pregnant and the fact I got thrush this month probably didn't help. Bloody typical! But the most annoying thing I hear is when people (my mother in law...) says "just relax and it will happen". Just read this fantastic article on this exact thing:

@Hopesandrainbows been trying since September last year, it would be my first. Never been pregnant even, been through a load of fertility tests recently as I’m turning 40 next week and was worried but doc says I’m basically ok!
If things don’t work naturally I’ll be looking into IVF but would rather avoid that...

@Ripleysfirst Thank you 😊 I'm due on Monday/ Tuesday. I'm quite lucky in the fact that I always come on 13-14 days past ovulation. When I fell pregnant in December I tested on day 10 and got a faint positive. I don't think it's going to happen for me this month though. We did BD at the right time and I definitely ovulated but I ended up getting thrush early in the TWW had really bad period cramps yesterday with backache but nothing today. I guess you never know, right? 🤷🏻‍♀️ How many months have you been trying and is this for your first too?

Aww I know the feeling I have a long luteal phase to which is why I’m not sure when to test. Was thinking this weekend but then I’ve had some brown/pinkish mucous today so not sure if AF is on its way.

Back in the 2ww as of today:) I have a long luteal phase though, so have 16 days before I can test 😭😭

Hi congratulations on all the BFPs. I’m somewhere in my TWW but have been having irregular cycles so not really sure where I’m up to if I’m honest. According to one of my apps I’m due AF 4th June but that would make this a 40 day cycle. Had some slight spotting yesterday for all of an hour but none since. Sorry to vent just feel I need someone to go through this with.

It all sounds pretty normal, and if you had no symptoms you’d probably worry more 😂

@Boof87 I'm cautiously optimistic that it all sounds really good. A clear line is a clear positive I think. But see how you go the next few days. Light bleeding very early on is very common. Keep us updated!

@Ripleysfirst yeah I feel hungover- tired, nauseous, sore boobs, gone off lots of food, peeing a lot. It's funny we spent so long ttc but now we have a bfp i feel rubbish and a bit nervous all the way to 12wk scan to check everything is ok. I thought I'd be over the moon (I am) but also feel crap & anxious. The joys... Hopefully it'll all be worth it in the end!

I'm 8dpo and am going to test on Friday I literally dread testing! I had really bad period like cramps all night and backache as if I was about to come on my period. I have had this every month though- both when I've been pregnant (lost to miscarriage) and when I ended up having AF. Although I doubt I'll get lucky this month, I hold onto that small bit of hope 🤞

I’m due on June 12th, I’m cycle day 14 today but it’s my 40th birthday June 4th so i may cave and test then even though id only be 8dpo...which writing it out looks silly.

I get the alternating ovaries too! Can feel the paint each month. This month it’s defo the left ovary that did its thing haha although the pain started in my right side...

@ripleysfirst this is cycle 5 of tracking so is a bit hard to say! cycle 1 and 3 I ovulated CD13 whereas cycles 2 and 4 was on CD16. So as I'm on cycle 5 I was hoping we'd be back to CD13 lol? But god knows.

It's supposed to be a myth about the whole alternating ovaries thing but I swear for those cycles it has been, as eg cycle 3 my left side hurt and cycle 4 it was on my right. Would explain the regular irregularities as well!

When is AF due for you ripley? Will you be testing before it's due?

@ripleysfirst I dunno, just not gonna get my hopes up and just take each day as it comes. Probably coz I had bfn on tues (af was due thurs) and it was a specific early test then the test on Sun was very faint positive. Then spotting yesterday. All seems a bit out of place? I dunno, ive never been pregnant so not sure what my body is doing! See how it is tomorrow. Currently 20dpo.

Hope all ok and we get some positives this month!
