AF hit me early today (11 DPO) so I had a random 25 day cycle.

Onwards to cycle 9 :)

Boof87 · 21/08/2020 11:19

@juno231 and no, won't be finding out what we are having although the suspense might kill me!

Boof87 · 21/08/2020 11:17

@juno231 yeh its been a bit crazy so far. And not sure i can go another 3 weeks without knowing if everything is OK or not so might have to book in for another scan.

How are you getting on?

Juno231 · 21/08/2020 10:39

@Boof87 well that's been a rollercoaster of emotions for you! I'm glad the test came back fine though and I hope all continues to go well! Will you be finding out what you're having at the next scan?

Boof87 · 21/08/2020 08:05

@juno231 hi! So I am currently 17ish weeks along. Didn't have the most happy 12 week scan as the little one had a slightly higher neck fluid and my hormone levels were rather high! So my chances of the baby having downs went from 1/437 to 1/33. I decided to have a CVS performed to get a 100% answer on whether it did so I could prepare myself in the future. That was a little scary and very emotional. Results came back that everything was fine so I'm extremely grateful. However, complications can still occur so having a more instense heart scan at my 20week scan. Just trying to say positive but also trying to stay grounded and realistic about things which is tough.

I hope everyone is doing OK. Its hard to keep up with the messages on here!xx

Juno231 · 19/08/2020 09:25

@Sammyclaire22 ah a baby girl how exciting! That will narrow down the name arguments at least ha. I've just run out of ubiquinol but am tempted to leave it as I'd been taking it since cycle 4 maybe with no luck so don't know if I can be bothered... I do love my temping though, makes me stress a lot less about missing ovulation :)

@hopesandrainbows ah congrats - I'm glad it's all progressing well! Do let us know what you're having once you know :)

@Eviebaba2014 what test did you use for testing?

Hopesandrainbows · 19/08/2020 09:05

@Juno231
EDD is 2nd March. It was actually 9th but I’ve had a few early scans where I’ve measured a week ahead now so it may be because I ovulated early that month. Yes we will find out as I’m too impatient haha.
I wish all of you ladies the very best of luck 🥰🤞 xx

Sammyclaire22 · 18/08/2020 22:51

@eviebaba2014 depending on what test you have they are often pretty faint at 10dpo. Even my frer wasn't very clear until closer to 14dpo so any line is a good sign, just watch out for evaps as they got mely hopes up a few months x

Sammyclaire22 · 18/08/2020 22:50

I'm now almost 17w so looking ahead to my 20w scan. We did a private one last week though to find out the gender as my oh still can't come to nhs scans. We're having another girl 🧒 still feels surreal though.

Sammyclaire22 · 18/08/2020 22:48

Hi everyone, nice to have a catch up!

Going off the most recent topics- I found that temping helped me for a few months, it meant I trusted the opks and my ewcm more. Although I did find it made me obsess about it more than normal so the month I caught I only temped right around when I thought I was ovulating rather than everyday which helped mentally.
I also recommend coenzyme 10 and agnus castus- my ovulation went back a few days the second month I took both (used to be early about cd10) and all the reading I did seemed to suggest it helps regulate cycles. Plus I figured the placebo effect can't harm either!

Eviebaba2014 · 18/08/2020 18:59

@Juno231 it’s so faint you can hardly see it, I ovulated on the 8th, how do you post pictures I’m new 🙈

Juno231 · 18/08/2020 18:54

@Eviebaba2014 it's pretty normal to have a faint line at 10DPO, it all has to do with how early/late you've had implantation.

@Hopesandrainbows ah brilliant! I'm glad it's all going well :) what's your EDD? Will you be finding out if you're having a boy or a girl?

@Ripleysfirst plus flights can be dirt cheap if you time it well. My family are all across the bridge from Copenhagen so that's where I fly to all the time :)

Hopesandrainbows · 18/08/2020 17:42

@Juno231
Hello 👋
Aww nice of you to check in- I am actually now 12 weeks pregnant! It’s been a very anxious 3 months but all is ok (touch wood). I wish you all the best of luck though 😘 and have everything crossed for you. The only thing I did differently the month we got it was taking omega 3 tablet daily and told my husband the days we needed to do it so still used ovulation test but said I wanted him to surprise me so it made sex more exciting rather than a chore. I enjoyed it much more and didn’t tense up like previous months. I hope this helps xxx

Eviebaba2014 · 18/08/2020 17:32

Hi ladies I hope you don’t mind me joining, I’m currently on my tww I’m 10dpo, I tested this morning and got the faintest of lines it was so faint I had to really squint to see it, has anyone has such a faint line that eventually got darker?

Ripleysfirst · 18/08/2020 16:55

Yes it’s considerably cheaper! And they seem to be moving along more consistently during the virus too... so I’m very tempted.

Juno231 · 18/08/2020 16:51

@Ripleysfirst ah yes I've heard that IUIs in Copenhagen actually end up costing less than here, even once you consider flights etc. So that would be a good option!

Ripleysfirst · 18/08/2020 16:41

I had those tests in February- March, so now it’s a planning consult for either IUI or IVF!
I was also really worried about early menopause... but looks like technically things are all still okay. It just makes me so nervous how long everything is taking here so I’ve scheduled a second consult with a danish clinic too, just to consider my options.

Juno231 · 18/08/2020 16:05

@Ripleysfirst that's good! please do keep us posted :) I got the ball rolling on some tests so am due an ultrasound next week and need to get my day 21 test done too. Luckily my day 3 test came back clear which I'm so relieved about as I was worried about having indicators for early menopause.

Ripleysfirst · 18/08/2020 15:44

@Juno231hi! Well I finally have a consult set for next week...the virus set everything back and it’s honestly been so hard.
I’ll keep you posted though, hopefully by the end of the year I’ll be trying again!

Juno231 · 18/08/2020 15:36

Just a bit of an update - I'm on cycle 8 now, CD9. Have had EWCM for three days already which is confusing but my OPKs are blank and my heart rate low so I think I've still got some days to go. Getting a bit anxious about hitting cycle 9 actually as it very much plays on my mind that I could have had a full term pregnancy in that time...

How is everyone else doing?
@Ripleysfirst are you still waiting for a fertility appointment?
@donnat89 @Hopesandrainbows @lavenderlilaclily @Boof87 any news?
@adrianoska how far along are you now, hope all is well!
@Skyla01 @mumoftwobeauts @Sammyclaire22 How are your pregnancies progressing?

Sorry if I missed anyone!

Juno231 · 01/08/2020 20:35

How is everyone doing? @Donnat89 are you coming up to OD now?

Donnat89 · 16/07/2020 12:00

Ok that's interesting 🧐 I am so shit at remembering to it before I get up and go to the loo etc though .

It is interesting seeing the stats and how clear yours are x

OP posts:
Juno231 · 16/07/2020 10:31

@Donnat89 I got the femometer one (not bluetooth connected though cause I'm cheap, just the one for £10 I think). Been tracking on fertility friend as it's way better than the femometer app though. Only on my second cycle of temping but I found it brilliant last cycle. It very clearly showed an ovulation day, giving me comfort that it actually happened (meant I didn't bother with OPKs past that point either)+ it showed a nice increase in temps during the TWW, again giving me comfort that I don't have a glaring progesterone problem.

But then again I am a lover of stats and I'm actually excited to see my temp every morning so I appreciate that's not for everyone!

Donnat89 · 16/07/2020 09:56

@Juno231 exciting fertile week is coming ! I'm gonna start to use my OPK again , what thermometer do you sue for temping and do you think it helps ? X

OP posts:
Juno231 · 16/07/2020 09:43

@Donnat89 CD7 I think! Had a bit of an odd period where I thought it started on the 6th but then had another, slightly more proper one starting on the 10th so I assume I got bamboozled by heavy spotting for the first one. It does mean I doubt myself whenever I think of the CD days and wonder if I'll end up missing my OD because of it ha.

I've ovulated on CD16 three cycles in a row as well but the last one was on CD12 so that adds to the fear of missing it. Luckily I'm temping nowadays so that should help me a bit.
